  7. Happy anniversary! 22nd is for copper, says the internet. New theme proposed: 22nd is for taxidermy display shelves!

  8. Wishing you and Victor a happy anniversary! Thank you for sharing your love, joy and crazy life with us all these years.

  9. Love this, love you! We are just past year 22 as well, and so I can guess at all this means for you and Victor. Love, peace and laughter to you both, today and beyond.

  10. Congratulations and wishing many more years of happiness and laughter. You made a beautiful bride and like others have said you still look the same after 22 years.

  11. Happy Anniversary Jenny! Thank you for sharing excellent examples of true love and happiness. What a wonderful way to start the day!

  12. Happy “4th of July” Wedding Anniversary Day, Jenny and Victor! Very cool day to have a wedding!

  13. Happy Happy…..seriously, the 4th of July? You do know how to get the bang of your ‘buck’ haha

  14. Happy happy happy anniversary!!! Here’s to many more! I’ll drink to that!

  15. Happy “4th of July” Wedding Anniversary Day, Jenny and Victor! Very cool choice for a date! Actually it is a fraking hot day for a wedding, too! Where were you guys married? You don’t appear to be melting.

  17. Do you have a photo of yourself in your attic? Cause seriously, there is no way that was 22 years ago. Beautiful then and now.

  18. Married on Independence Day? Somehow that suits you …. May the fireworks never go out for the two of you!

  19. Your joy put a smile in my heart. What a lovely photo and how lovely you are still celebrating that moment today.

  20. Congrats!

(Ironically you became dependent on someone, on Independence Day?)

  21. Happy Anniversary! The first time I read your blog I knew I was not alone and my husband was so relieved Victor existed in the world, as proof he wasn’t alone either.

  22. Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
    That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand’ring bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
    Within his bending sickle’s compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me prov’d,
I never writ, nor no man ever lov’d.

  23. Happy anniversary – you deserve happiness – and many more ahead. But why was Victor biting your finger?

  24. That’s a little freaky. MY and Greg’s 22nd anniversary is August 10th. That means we’re roughly the same age, Jenny. And I hope your marriage is as strong and happy as ours still is. As I’ve seen at cakewrecks.com, Hapy Univirsity!

  25. Ah, the famous puffy-sleeved dress…Happy anniversary to you both!

  26. Congratulations, you wacky teenagers! Go for another twenty-two.
    Much Love, Many Thanks.

  27. Happy Anniversary Jenny & Victor! We are 22 years next Jan 4th so we are exactly 6 months behind you (that checks out, I’m usually late on all the cool trends 😂)
Wishing you all the happiness in the world!

  28. Happy Annual verdant! Hmm. That autocorrected but I kind of like it. Have a lush day, be green. I hope the feelings today are full of joy and wonder. Xxx

  29. Are you kidding me?! My husband I got married 22 years ago on this day and time!! I have never known anyone who wed on the 4th of July, let alone at the same time. Happy Anniversary! Love you blog and your books. You are hilarious and awesome.

  30. Happy Anniversary! Doesn’t there need to be popcorn on the floor?

  31. Happy Anniversary! The fact that you met in a bookstore was adept foreshadowing 😉

  32. What beautiful pictures of beautiful people! Happy anniversary!!

  33. Happy anniversary Jenny! You’ll always have fireworks for your celebration! 😘

  34. Happy Anniversary!

BTW, you haven’t aged at all – vampire? 😛

  35. Happy Anniversary, to a wonderful couple, whose passive aggressive use of post-it notes gives hope to married couples everywhere. Wishing you many more metal chickens and strange suggestions from Amazon.

  36. Cheers to the happy couple and to hoping my second, third,… fourth(?) marriage is as fufulilling as y’alls.

  37. A man loves you for who you are. He does not run when anxiety and depression afflicts you. This gives me hope that other men out there can do the same for me.

  38. Happy Anniversary!!!! Wishing you and Victor every happiness, every joy, every strength and all courage today and for every day that follows!!!

  39. Happy Anniversary! Congrats…you have succeeded where many have failed. Here’s to 22 more happy, healthy and rewarding ones.

  40. Happy Anniversary to the happy(?) couple.
All I can add is “Poor Victor” 🙁 🙂

  41. Congratulations on sticking to all of those vows over the past 22 years – wishes for many, many, more. We hit 30 back in May – so hard to believe! When you find someone who can put up with your kind of crazy, I think it’s smart to stick with them.

  42. Congratulations for not stabbing each other after that many years…yet.

  43. Mazel Tov! Many more happy years of arguing and fun. You two are an inspiration.

  44. Congrats, but isn’t that the scene with the church at the beginning of the Rocky Horror Picture Show? Trying to spot Tim Curry…

  45. In addition to what everyone else has said, how is your dress so pretty??? I thought back then fashion was supposed to be terrible!

  46. Awwwwwwwwww happy (late) anniversary!! Yunno, that second picture kinda creeps me out, I’m 100% positive I was not at your wedding but I have worn that exact pink dress that girl with the bouquet is wearing, and I wore it to a wedding when I was a kid. Also, my mom wore that black dress with white dots, at that same wedding. Hmmmmm. Was that just like the ‘in’ thing at weddings back then??

  47. You haven’t changed a bit….wish you another 50! I know Victor has it in him!

  48. Ah, Love Perfected! And to think it was because you wore That Coat into That Bookstore, ay That Hour, on That day, evening!!! SO Joyously happy for you both, all, that you found each other, since you truly seem to be made for each other! May God continue to Bless you and your Families 💕💕💕
