IT’S FRIDAY.

It’s Friday so I want to invite you into my office to look at all the videos I saved for you, but I’m still in covid isolation, so instead you have to watch them from your place and just pretend to be snuggling with me. You’re welcome.

So me it hurts:

This is a natural phenomenon of a “dirty thunderstorm” caused by volcanic ash and not two wizards fighting on a mountain, which I assumed:

You probably already saw this but it’s so good:

This is the stuff that ends up on my “for you” page when Hailey’s been on my instagram:

FYI…after she tickles them she takes them for a walk down to the end of the road away from her vegetables. I want to be her friend:

Oh, Tavaris. I feel you.

“No. The damage is done.”

“I’m batman.”

Happy weekend, sweet friends.

  1. Thanks for starting my weekend with a smile. Feel better soon!

  2. The clumsy video just slays me!! I know exactly how they feel.
Some of the videos didn’t work when I pressed the arrow.
But my heart was filled with joy for the dog and his seagull!
And gremlin kitty, omg, sometimes you get a cat with an attitude!
I hope you get out of quarantine soon, but I’m very much enjoying your quarantine posts.

  3. I love how granny hates her cat! I watched it twice and forwarded it to all my granny friends who hate their cats! Still laughing.

  4. Here are my rankings.
    1. The clumsy video
    2. Were there others?

  5. The butchering of the names at the graduation ceremony made me kind of mad. That should never have been allowed to continue. It might make for a funny story in the future, but I would have been ticked off if it had happened to me. She should have been replaced.

  6. Omg the clumsy video – where did that bruise come from? 😆😆😆 It’s me. Hi.

  7. Great vids! Plus I have that exact dresser that the Grandma who doesn’t like cats has! First piece of furniture that I ever bought. I think in 1980.

  8. That’s how I play Wheel at home-I shout inappropriate answers at the screen and laugh like a goof, but wow this person is my hero because they said it IN PERSON in front of Sajak…😂🤣

As for the volcano it’s Gandalf and Saruman battling it out, or the ring just fell into the fires of Mount Doom. I’ll show my LOTR nerd self out. 🧙‍♂️🪄🤓

  9. the Grandma video is awesome, as is the dog and his seagull. The clumsy video hits pretty close to home, and might actually be me. It’s part of my autism to have proprioception. this reminds me, Jenny: I’ve been wondering, have you been tested for ASD?

(I haven’t. I’ve looked into it but testing seems really expensive and time consuming. ~ Jenny)

  10. Great selections for good laughs! I love Good boy Ollie videos and follow them! He and his dog brother Tato (Potato) go on great adventures.

  11. These little works of art (magical moving miniatures) made me think of you. Not sure if the link will work, but if you google Penny Thomson Works, you’ll see what amazing creations these are!

(I love her and I even have one of these! ~ Jenny)

  12. I am the clumsy one. And the stroller one had me dying. It’s my family. So hard.

I have birth fairly recently. Due to things being a giant pita, my husband last second couldn’t drive me home. He has a weird car no one else wanted to drive and also had the carseat. He and his father couldn’t figure out how to hold the button down and get the click in car seat out….

So my father in law drove my husband’s car that he took 5 minutes to turn off (my husband’s car not only has a push button to turn on which my father in law never used… But to put it in park involves more button pushing. It was… interesting.).

So I had to put my newborn in the nursery so I could go walk down to the car and retrieve the car seat…and bring it back. I got the carseat out in under 5 seconds.

And then I carried my stuff down and the nurse carried the baby and carseat. Then I drove us all home.

  13. The clumsy guy video is sooooooo me! I sent it to my hubby when I saw it because we are always laughing about all the bruises I have and how people are going to start thinking he’s causing them (he is NOT! Sweetest man ever.).

  14. Thank goodness it’s Friday, and The Bloggess has captured the essence of the weekend’s approach with her unique blend of humor and insight. Looking forward to unwinding with this latest read!

  15. Friday’s dose of laughter and joy from The Bloggess is just what I needed! The hilarious videos, from the “dirty thunderstorm” to the granny’s cat dilemma, are the perfect antidote to the quarantine blues. It’s like a treasure trove of unblocked games for the soul, offering a delightful escape from the mundane. Thanks for the giggles and the reminder that humor can be found in the most unexpected places!

  16. Absolutely loving your quarantine shares, Jenny! Your humor and heartwarming picks make isolation so much brighter.

  17. Dirty thunderstorm?! I totally would have believed wizards. That’s way cooler than just, you know, science and stuff. Also, that lady and her snails are living the dream. I need a garden and an army of tiny shelled pals. Happy Friday!

  18. “Dirty thunderstorm”?! I totally thought it was wizards, too! That is WILD. Also, the lady protecting her veggies from the ticklish goats is my hero. I aspire to that level of dedication. Happy Friday!
