A little celebration.:)

This isn’t a real post…it’s just a little celebration because I haven’t had enough of those lately. Yesterday I got a copy of Furiously Happy translated into Indonesian and it feels so surreal. I just went through my bookshelf and in the last 12 years my books have been translated into Italian, German, Portuguese, Czechoslovakian, Turkish, Estonian, Simplified Chinese, Complex Chinese, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Korean, Vietnamese, Bulgarian, Hungarian, French, Persian, Romanian and Arabic…which means that 19 different translators have had to find a way to write about George Washington’s dildo, getting attacked by wild turkeys, armadillo races, giant metal chickens, crushing mental illness and training wild raccoons to steal change from car washes. (I’M SO SORRY, SWEET TRANSLATORS.) The world is weird as hell, y’all.

But to celebrate how incredibly weird and lovely this is, today I’m giving away some signed copies of my books. Whoop! Just let me know in the comments which one of my books you’d most want a signed copy of (Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, Furiously Happy, You are Here or Broken) and I’ll pick 5 people randomly to send books to.

And wherever you are in the world, I’m so grateful you’re here.

  1. Furiously Happy was the first book I read by you and I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes numerous times. I loved that book and I’ve loved every one since then. I still have my original copy, but I’d love an autographed copy of that one, it was my “Gateway Jenny Lawson” book! 😀

  2. Your books have made me laugh until I cried and made me cry because I finally felt seen. If I am chosen I would love a signed copy of Broken. Thank you for getting me through the hard days.

  3. Hello Ms. Lawson (hello Jenny)! 🙂

Actually I do not need any of Your books as I’ve already got them all but I do want to say “Thank You!” to You as surprisingly I seem to be the first commenter (and this even from Germany) … 😉

Wish You all the best and good health and luck with whatever You are up to. And still looking forward to Your next book … 🙂

    Cheers! 🙂

  4. Whoopsie! My previous comment went horribly awry! I would absolutely be thrilled to get a signed copy of Furiously Happy!!! It’s my favorite book EVER! In the history of all books (and I read a lot!). Keep the good stuff coming!

  5. OH! Pick me! You signed “Broken” so you choose either of the others. And I am buying tickets now to see you in Upper Arlington in March! I am so excited to see you! (We’re very friendly and supportive, so just take a breath. It’s all good.)

  6. I’d love a signed Let’s Pretend This Never Happened!! Congrats to you on your big accomplishment (and good job to all those translators, too!) -Megan

  7. I would love a copy of any of them. Furiously Happy happy first pick, Broken right there as well

  8. I would love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened! I have signed copies of the other two, but not this one! And yay for translating fun! I’ll bet it made their job super interesting.

  9. I need cheering up since I lost my job on Monday due to Musk and his Inquisatorial Squad goons canceling 89 contracts under the Institute of Education Sciences with zero warning, one of which I’d been on for 15 years. I’d take whichever one you find most appropriate considering my mood and the political climate right now. Sigh.

  10. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. That book came out at a dark time in my life and it got my through. Congratulations!

  11. I would love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I’ve nearly worn out my first copy by re-reading in times of need.

  12. You are here, please! I have been holding on to my copy for years and never coloured anything in as I’m scared of messing it up, so if I had another copy I could try to be brave and creative 😉

  13. Your books get me through the fog every time. My first one was Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I would love a signed copy. Maybe one day I’ll make it down to Texas and I can see your shop in person. In the meantime…there’s rereading your books. Again. 🙂

  14. Congratulations! That is so awesome. I haven’t gotten to read Broken yet, I’d love a signed copy.

  15. “You are Here”. Always love thw way you fight through life and survive all unbelievables. Love ya!

  16. Furiously Happy!! Which is what I am, for you and your amazing book success. You are a treasure ❤️✨ Thanks for being you!

  17. Congratulations on the translation!
I’d love any of the signed copies! Thank you!

  18. Furiously happy! Thank you for bearing your soul at a time when I felt very alone🩷

  19. I’d love a copy of Let’s Pretend this Never Happened. Only one I dont have a physical copy of.

  20. I’d love a copy of You are Here! And congrats on the latest translation 👍🏻

  21. I’m torn – I need a copy of Broken, but my niece has told me she wants a copy of You Are Here… so I’ll suggest her because she doesn’t know I’m putting in her name Gianna) & that would make it even cooler…

  22. Furiously Happy saved my life, I would love a signed copy. And congrats on the new translation!

  23. Good lord, for YEARS Furiously Happy has been bedside reading for me and every freaking friend of mine struggling. Feeling shitty? Don’t worry! Imma send you a bit of hilarity, smooshed within the thick coverstock of the happiest damned raccoon ever! Brings happy through a bit of tears! Love. This. Book! 🙂

  24. I once was lucky enough to own a signed copy of Let’s Pretend. But my evil ex step sister borrowed it and it is now gone forever ☹️ You came to Toronto and I travelled 5 hours down the highway (even took the subway!) to come to your book signing. I will forever be sad for losing such a prized possession and I will never ever make the mistake of lending my favourite book to anyone! Buy them their own copy always from now on!

  25. Jenny, I have a long-time wonderfully different friend who has been reminding me of someone else. Now that I’ve read all of your books, I know who that other person is – she’s the wonderfully different author, Jenny Lawson. If you pick me, please sign “Let’s Pretend …” to Joyce. I’m planning on buying her a complete set, in English.
    Thanks.

  26. I would love a copy of Broken, especially with Fleece Witherspoon cover. But all of your books are wonderful. I laugh. I cry. I cry a lot. I giggle until I cry.

  27. Let’s Pretend this Never Happened 🙂 I own Broken and listened to the audiobook of Furiously Happy (which was great and I recommended to a friend who had to drive from Chicago to New Mexico and it was perfect for her as well: so wonderful).

  28. I would love a copy of Broken!! ❤️
(Sorry to double post! I didn’t enter my email properly the first time 🤦‍♀️)

  29. I would love a copy of let’s Pretend this Never Happened. I lent mine to someone and they never returned it.

  30. A copy of Furiously Happy would be awesome as I need to give one to my mom as 2024 was tough and 2025 is looking to be harder ( I know a lot of people can say the same)

  31. Congratulations!!! I would love a copy of You Are Here, so it can enjoy shelf space next to me copies of your other books.

  32. If you are still randomly selecting I’d cherish a signed copy of Broken, which made me shake with laughter so hard on oublic transit that people moved away.

  33. You are just amazing. I can’t imagine how many people you have touched in so many ways. I don’t need a book right now. I just wanted to say thank you.

  34. I loved your books so much that I gave them all away because you can never have too much Jenny! I think that I want a copy of “Broken.” Come on, big Money!

  35. I would love any of them signed please. Your words in Furiously Happy saved me. Congratulations on all your good news, that’s amazing that you have that many translated. I love you. Big hugs

  36. Kudos! Well done – very happy for you. I would absolutely LOVE a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. Thank you and keep up the great work!

  37. Your next one. Because somehow I was able to get signed copies of all the ones in print already 😉❤️🥰

  38. Jenny, i would love a signed copy of You Are Here, but honestly, I would be excited by a copy of any of your books signed. You have given me so many laughs over the last few years when I am stuck in the darkness. I appreciate you and your wonderful writing and art! Thanks so much.

  39. I would adore a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened because I have your others! (And you were my all-time favorite ACES keynote speaker a few years ago…and also my daughter had TMS to treat her depression, 2nd time stuck.) 💖

  40. I’m grateful you’re here! Ib wouldn’t have found this community otherwise and I wouldn’t have had my life saved countless times. Thank you all!

  41. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened! It was my first intro to you and I’ve been a faithful follower and supporter ever since. Keep plugging along!

  42. Congratulations on your influence in the world! Everyone needs a dose of you! If chosen I would love a copy of You Are Here to gift to my weird and wonderful daughter. Thanks and stay YOU. I love you.

  43. I’m not sure if my previous comment posted. I would love a signed copy of Furiously Happy!

  44. Hi Jenny! I would love Let’s Pretend This Never Happened in English or French (if you have it) Thank you!

  45. Furiously Happy is my go to book. I try and but several copies at a time and hand them out to folks that i see struggling. We all need a pick me up and to know someone is in our corner. Thank you for being my go to book

  46. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened helped me realize I wasn’t the only unique family.

  47. Hahaha, it wasn’t blank, it just says “I don’t” because I was about to say “I don’t remember how to log in” 😀

  48. Although I already own 2 copies of You Are Here (one to keep pristine & one to color), I’d love to have a signed copy to add to my collection! <3

    Thank you, Jenny. Love you!

  49. Furiously Happy introduced me to you in all your unique glory, but I would be happy to have a signed copy of any of your books.

  50. I’ll bet the translators still consider your books their favorite jobs – I mean, to get to go to work and laugh til you cry?? They should be sending you thank you notes. I’d love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, my absolute favorite.

  51. Gosh. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened made me pee myself multiple times, so I guess I pick that one. Thanks for your generosity!

  52. Broken is all I haven’t read but I would be absolutely thrilled with anything signed from you!! <3

  53. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I loaned my copy to my son’s wife before she left him and divorced him. I never got it back. (I don’t think she ever read it.)

  54. I’d love furiously happy as that’s the first book by you I read. That started my literary journey with you & I haven’t looked back.

  55. Furiously Happy for sure! I laughed and I cried. I really resonated with the stories and read it in one day. Plus, Rory is adorable.

I’m not sure if you got a bunch of comments from me. Sorry if I did! I tried doing it on my phone and it kept telling me I was rate limited?

  56. Broken, because your descriptions of TMS gave me the knowledge that hope is possible by never giving up. I just finished my first round of deep TMS last month and it changed my life. Your letter to the insurance company was incredible…and it’s something I need to do myself, since my insurance just denied an additional 10 treatments. I’d had several serious issues during the course of 36 treatments and we ended up having to change my numbers including the percentage for the last two weeks. I was so hoping to get back to the full 120%, but insurance says, “No.” Anyway…thank you for the words that helped to change my life. ❤️

  57. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened is, hands down, the funniest goddamn thing I’ve ever read. I would love to have a signed copy!
Thank you for the laughter Jenny!

  58. I would love a copy of You Are Here. I have signed copies of all of your other books, and I love them, and this week has been soul crushing in dozens of tiny ways that I wish didn’t matter, but do.

  59. Love the covers from around the world. Hugs today from a cold and snowy St. Louis. Would love a signed copy of Furiously Happy.

  60. So awesome that your reach now extends around the world! Could you please just take over already?
    Broken, for these broken times.

  61. I would love a copy of You Are Here if at all possible-your words and your art mean more than you know. I had mold issues a few times over the years so I had to get rid of my books-it broke my heart and I just feel horribly guilty to this day.

First time was our last apartment we lived in which was infested with black mold-we didn’t know at all and had to throw out a lot of precious things. After we moved I slowly bought some books again, and also a refinished vintage item that I checked up and down, but it had a small amount of mold on it that I didn’t see that affected the newer books. Sigh.

Not trying to plead my case or anything-just that’s why I don’t have a copy and would truly love a copy. Your work is such a gift Jenny, so much so that I gift your books to other people. I would love a copy of You Are Here.

  62. First one I read, because of the cover photo and its relevance to similar issues in my family. Never regretted it. Have read the others also and would love to know your father. Jenny (too)

  63. Would LOVE Furiously Happy!!! I’ve given away every copy I’ve ever bought because it’s just so wonderful. I’d definitely keep a signed copy!!! No matter what though, you’re my favorite!!

  64. I have laughed till I peed reading Lets Pretend This Never Happened. I read the squirrel episode to my son and his friend when they were about 16 and they also couldn’t stop laughing. I’ve loved all your books and giving them to people I think would appreciate them. I’ve always wanted a signed copy of Let’s Pretend…please add my name to the contest!

  65. I love this not a real post and the comments here that show we all have so much in common.
Congrats on your recent translation! It is surreal to think of having your thoughts read by people around the 🌎!
If chosen, I would cherish a signed copy of Furiously Happy. That was my first book of yours and it has brought me into the light more times than I can count. I have also purchased and given more than a few for people who needed it too.
You are special and a light in this world 🌎! My humble gratitude. ✨️

  66. I’d love to receive a signed copy of Furiously Happy! It has one of my fave all-time quotes in it “Oh My God! You’re my favorite person ever! Please let me chew your face off with my love!”

  67. Pretty awesome non-post; glad your reach is now around the world.
Could you possibly just take over some places where your reach, reaches? (I’m thinking of a country we might be living in….)

    Broken, for these broken times.

  68. I don’t know what I’d do without you Jenny!! You pick me up in all my lowest times, and your stories are my favourite to tell friends.
I’d love a signed copy of any of your books. 🩷

  69. And the world is grateful for the kindness and the weirdness and most of all …the laughter.

  70. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I only have that one on audio. Your writing makes me so happy, even the sad parts. That sounds weird, but you understand my brain, and knowing someone besides my therapist understands is a good thing. Be well, be happy, and don’t listen to the news. Or not much. Love you!

  71. Congratulations – that it so awesome and I’m sure the translators appreciated the challenge 😉 I would love a copy of Lets Pretend This Never Happened. I have read your books multiple times but this was the one that hooked me.

  72. Congratulations! Seeing your book in another language must be such a trip!

I would choose Broken for an autographed copy ❤️

  73. Any of your books would be great, but if I have to choose, I’d say Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, because 1) that pretty much sums up my life, and 2) that was the first book of yours that I read. I bought it solely on the basis of the title.

  74. I’ve been slacking and have to admit I haven’t read Broken yet! I’d love a signed copy!

  75. Furiously Happy – it saved my life when I needed my life saved. More than once.

Also I can’t believe there STILL are no Dutch translations. Rude, Dutch publishers.

  76. ME ME ME! Pick ME! I would love a copy of Furiously Happy- I tell everyone that will listen about your books…

  77. Oh my goodness I loved furiously happy so much. I would love that. I read it on an airplane and I was laughing the whole time and everyone near me was eyeballing me like something was wrong with me. Love you Jenny!

  78. I would love another “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened” as mine is in the wind, as usual. I find people that need a bright spot and it’s gone. Over the years, I’ve purchased many and, apparently, distributed just as many. A signed copy would not leave my hands. 🙂

It’s such a great book to remind me that our childhood experiences, though normal to us, might not have the same feel for others. The great thing is, that’s what makes us each fantastic.

  79. I would love a copy of Broken! I had a signed copy and my dog literally pulled it off the bookshelf and ate a big chunk of it. 😅 Thankfully I had finished reading it by then, but I’m sad I don’t have a signed copy any more. But I don’t actually have a signed copy of any of your books now… So I would actually love to have any of them!

  80. I would love a Russian language copy of any of your books. Doesnt matter which.

  81. i would love a copy of broken.
and i had a good giggle at the thought of the translators struggling with how to phrase those wonderful things like george washingtons dildo and more.

  82. Wahoo!!! 19 languages is a bid deal! Imagine a world where everyone could read Jenny Lawson…that sounds incredible xo

  83. I’d love a copy of Furiously Happy to give away. It’s the one I find most helpful.

  84. I would love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. It was the first book I read that introduced me to youn and reading it helped me when I was having a hard time finding anything funny in the world.
    Thanks for being here Jenny!
    Jenn

  85. Would love a copy of Furiously Happy, I loaned my cope out so much that I don’t know who has it.

  86. I’d love to have Broken, it’s the only book I don’t already own. And a signed copy would be an added extra bonus!!

  87. A copy of Broken is just what the doctor ordered. Thanks! And many congratulations!

  88. My favorite is “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened “ and I think it must be everyone’s that I ever “loan” it to since they never give it back and I just keep buying myself more. I felt amazed reading about someone who felt animal carcasses were part of their normal life growing up since my own grandfather had a butcher building on his farm and people always brought him dead animals to … do stuff with.

  89. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I’m so happy that other people in other countries or who speak other languages get a chance to read your wonderful books. I have all of your’s signed by you and I hope whoever wins this prize cherishes their signed books as much as I cherish mine. Have a WONDERFUL day Jenny. Oh and did anyone ever tell you you’re the best? If they did I’m saying it too.

  90. Happy to report I own all your books! But would love one in Spanish for my daughter in law!

  91. What a beautiful collage all your different covers make, Jenny!
I’m pretty sure I have at least one of every one of your books in English, but what would be cool would be to receive a foreign language version! Especially Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, for “Knock knock…” in another language. 😉

  92. Furiously Happy was a big influence for me, so much so, that I’ve worked on it’s translating to Hebrew back when it came out! [I tried to get that ball rolling, unfortunately without success at the time, maybe now? 🙂 ]

  93. Furiously happy, because I put it in a potluck gift exchange for a friend during COVID and would love to reread it

  94. Furiously Happy is your most meaningful book for me. Thank you for doing this! 💝

  95. I would love a copy of You Are Here. But I’m just so excited to know that i can use one of your books to learn a new language instead of the made up scenarios about Dieppe and that hussy in the French books!
Congrats on your world wide success! Xoxoz

  96. 19 languages!?! What a fabulous feat.

I love all of your books, but Let’s Pretend this Never Happened is may favorite and the only one I don’t own.

    Congratulations.

P.S. What’s up with the footer for your site? It says “The Bloggess, Powered by WordPress.com. Maybe they were just hot”…

  97. I am writing this from Canada (which will NEVER be a 51st state) where we are such big fans.
I’ve followed you since the days of Beyoncé the giant chicken!
I have all of your books (unsigned) already, so go ahead and pick someone who needs one. Thank you for all that you, your family, and your staff at the bookstore do to make this world a better place!

  98. “Furiously Happy” … because that raccoon was what led me to discovering you. I had just started therapy, and he reminded me of a dream I had, only it was a squirrel (but basically embracing the same crazy image of that raccoon. And … because I loaned that book out and never got it back.

  99. Not looking for a signed copy 🙂 Just wanted to say congrats and thank you for all you do. You and many others are the reason I still have some faith in the USA. Take care of yourself Jenny – you do good work but your first job is to yourself <3

  100. Furiously Happy! Can I get a copy in a Scottish accent!…lol! Congrats on your success all over the world. I can’t wait for your new book. More translation!!

  101. I would love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened because it is the first book of yours that I read. I am also very much looking forward to your next book and any others after that!

  102. Broken is very meaningful to me.
It gave me the courage to try Ketamine in December and January. It helped me through losing both my little sisters to cancer four weeks apart in January. Your personal stories and your community of followers help me. Keep up the amazing work you do. Thanks!

  103. Jenny, I would love a copy of “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened ”. Or whatever. You know what I mean. That book speaks to me like my sister, but with more cursing haha. I adore your writing. It makes me realize I’m not alone in my weirdness. Thank you for that.

  104. I would love a signed copy of Broken. It’s been a really rough winter for me and I could sure use good news. I am also very thankful for you, your words, your courage, and the community that you have built amongst your fans.

  105. oooo Let’s Pretend this Never Happened. I always have to start with the first book.

  106. Oh Jenny… I’d say Broken (English) b/c isn’t everything feeling a little broken right now?

In other news, I saw 3 foot fake roses you can get for your giant yard skeleton. If you were into that kind of thing or anything, idk.

  107. A signed “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened” I gave away my signed copy to someone who needed it.

  108. I’d love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened just like I wanted to pretend I wasn’t really on a cruise ship when I discovered your writing. Sure I could have stayed hidden in my cabin but I found some courage and engaged in socializing. I left my copy on the ship for someone else who regretted the adventure to discover and find joy!

  109. Hi Jenny! I would love “Furiously Happy!” That smiley raccoon gets me every time!

  110. I would love my autistic and mentally ill daughter to receive her favorite book “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened.” It’s given her a laugh despite everything. Please make it out to Sela.

  111. I would love a copy of You Are Here. It’s the only one of your books I don’t have!

  112. I’ve enjoyed all your books, but I think my favorite is Furiously Happy, and I’d live to have a signed copy. Thank you for always making me laugh (even if you sometimes also make me cry).

  113. Jenny, Jenny, Jenny! Furiously Happy made me feel as if you and I could have been sisters. Life is weird. Connections are weird. But is nice to know you aren’t weird, alone all by yourself.

  114. Okay, seriously I would be so thrilled to get a signed copy of any one of your books. (Accidentally wrote assigned copy, but I’d be okay with that, too.) I usually listen to the audiobooks because your accent makes my accent reappear and then everyone who met me after I escaped texas thinks I sound funny and I like to humor them on occasion. Furiously Happy was the first one to make me laugh hard enough to pee, but my favorite is probably Broken. It didn’t make me pee, though. Pelvic floor therapy is amazing.

    Love you bunches!

  115. That is so cool your books have been translated into so many different languages! If I were to receive a book, I’d want Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I love all uour books, but this is the one where random bits often pop into my head, and it makes me smile every fucking time. Thank you.

    Stacy

  116. Let’s pretend this never happened is my favorite. I read it to my husband and now we have a running joke about the giant metal chicken he is going to get me for our anniversary. I am a metal and living chicken tender.

  117. I needed …. No… NEEDED to read broken and though I had to wait for Libby to make it available I finally was able to read it and it helped me so much.

  118. I would love a copy of Broken! I’ve read it, but it’s the only one I don’t own, yet.
Reading your posts always gives my day a little lift, so thanks!

  119. I’d love a copy of Furiously Happy to give to a relative who would really benefit from it. If I tell her I won an extra copy it’ll go over better than if i say Read this😜
    Thanks Jenny

  120. I would love to have a copy of Broken. I just listened to an audio book from my library for the 2nd time and laughed and cried with you even though I had heard it all before.

  121. Years later Furiously Happy is still my favourite audiobook I’ve read so I would love a signed copy of the book in any format!

  122. I loved every one of your books. I would love any signed copy. That would be bragging rights in my opinion no matter what everyone else thinks.

  123. Congrats!

I would love a copy of any of your books! I’ve never read any of them; I’ve only read your blog.

  124. Whatever book you choose! I just got out of the Nut hut aka looney bin the other day and could use a laugh or two right now

  125. Congratulations! That’s amazing and I hope you’re hella proud of yourself! My favorite is probably Let’s Pretend this Never Happened, but would be thrilled with any.

  126. Rolling the dice and rubbing my rabbits foot. You are here.
    Such good news!!!👏👏

  127. I would love a copy of Furiously Happy. I purchased it twice and loaned it out probably 20 times because I wanted all my crazies to enjoy it like I did (do). Sadly, I haven’t gotten either one back, nor do I remember who had them last 🤪🥴😥

  128. Wow, that’s so amazing, congratulations! I love all the different covers.

I’d love a copy of You Are Here. Thanks so much!

  129. I only have a digital version of Let’s Pretend, so I would love a paper copy! Thank you!! <3 <3 <3

  130. I would love a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened so I can gift it to my best friend for her birthday. When we realized we were both part of your book club, we realized we were made for each other.

  131. A very worthy celebration indeed my fellow confused carbon based lifeform!

Per chance the universe grants me luck, my copy of Lets Pretend This Never Happened could use a twin to body double it on my shelf.

  132. I would love to give a copy of “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened” to a coworker who is struggling right now. She is so wonderful and I wish she knew it.

  133. I’d love a signed copy of Furiously Happy! I read Let’s Pretend This Never Happened and loved it. I can’t wait to read the rest of your books, signed or not!

  134. Broke is the only one of your book I don’t already own! Congrats on all the translations!

  135. I don’t know I’m kind of lost. I would need advice. I know I love Beyoncé. I even got a chicken kinda gives me a little peace

  136. I loved Let’s Pretend this never happened. I was reading it for the first time in a books store and laughed so hard I fell out of my chair in the cafe. Let’s just say I never when back after I checked out.

  137. Let’s Pretend it Never Happened is one of my all-time favorites! I’d be honored to have a signed copy, should I be lucky enough to be chosen!

  138. That is absolutely AMAZING! So very happy for you.
If I were to be chosen to receive a signed book, I would be furiously happy with any one of your books that you wished to send to me. 😉

  139. I would be delighted to win any of your books! I have them all as books and on audio too.

  140. That is definitely something to be thankful for. Congratulations. I would love a copy of Let’s pretend. I leant it out years ago and sadly was never returned. All the best

  141. Congratulations! I cherish all your works and would be ecstatic to have your signature in any of them. Love you so much!

  142. I’m so late on this that I don’t stand a chance, but Furiously Happy for me through radiation treatment for cancer. I’m going through cancer again (mastectomy this time) at the same time as my husband has colon cancer. Could totally use a laugh.

  143. I have received a signed book from you before, so I am not entering a giveaway. I just wanted to say “CONGRATULATIONS!”

  144. Just want to say I love all your posts so much! They help me out, even on the crappiest of days. Thank you for being you! I haven’t read Broken yet, but would love to.

  145. Hi! I would love a copy of “You are here.” I have bought copies for others, but haven’t a copy for myself 😊
    Thanks for being you!

  146. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I have one of the Rory pillows on my bed & it is one of my most prized possessions. ❤️

  147. I’d love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. The one that started it all! I remember when you announced that you had written a book and were so unsure about it but then it was a hit (deservedly).

  148. I’d love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. The one that started it all! I remember when you announced that you had written a book and were so unsure about it but then it was a hit (deservedly).

  149. I would love a copy of Broken, but I’d be happy with any of them! Thank you for this opportunity, Jenny! 🙂

  150. Furiously Happy for YOU and all of the incredible things you’ve accomplished! Truly helped so many people through life while tackling your own challenges. YOU are a WONDER Woman✨

  151. I’d love a copy of Broken, because it would be the first *new* book of yours that I’ll have!
All of the others were gifted to me

  152. Congrats on spreading more “laughter into tears” moments around the world! (How do they translate a racoon to others? Striped monkey?) I would love a copy of Furiously Happy or whatever your mood strikes you – love them all!

  153. Congratulations! Look at you making the world better, one language at a time. Amazing. I would love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened.

  154. Congrats. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I’d request it in Portuguese, but my reading skills are about 20 years behind. So. Let’s pretend I never said anything and I’ll read it in English.

  155. That is so cool, congrats!!! I can only imagine the translators faces sometimes with some of the stories. I’d love a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened.

  156. I LOVE all of your books and would treasure a signed copy of any of them. If I had to choose, I’d say Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. If I’m not chosen, still sending you lots of love!

  157. I would freak out if I got a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. And, I love to freak out.

  158. I would be thrilled to receive any, but since You Are Here is the one I haven’t read yet, I’m going with that! No one makes me wheeze and cackle with laughter like you do. And since I have so far done your books as audio (which I frequently listen to as I’m supposed to be drifting off to sleep at night) you have succeeded in waking my husband up many times. (Yes, I am passing the buck off on you🤪)

  159. This is amazing! If I had to pick one, it would be Let’s Pretend because it introduced me to you and your writing.

  160. How amazing that so many people around the world can enjoy your writing in their own native language. I would love a copy of Broken if I am fortunate enough to be selected.

  161. I bet that if you asked them, those translators would say that it was their favorite book they’ve ever translated.

  162. I couldn’t even choose just one. I’m so happy for you! What a wonderful achievement 💜

  163. I thought you meant a other than English version of your book but you mean an English version of your book. I mean an autograph would be cool but an autographed copy of the Chinese translation would be even more cool. So instead I’ll wish to the people chosen to get the autographed copy of your English version. 🙂

  164. Wow! All those languages? That’s truly amazing. Gold stars to you. I’d love to have a copy of Broken.

  165. I don’t deserve it. I haven’t been commenting as often as I used to. And my depression is feeding off of my anxiety.

But your books have helped me in a lot of ways. Thank you for being you, for talking to the world. For letting us get just a peek of your life, enough to know we aren’t alone. Thank you.

  166. This is so awesome for you. Though, with all your wordplay, I’d still expect the English version is the best (speaking as a translator here) 😛
I’d love to have You are here, it’s the only one I’m missing.

  167. This is fantastic, Jenny! Thanks for sharing your good news with us; I think we all need good news more than ever. I’d love to receive Furiously Happy. Thank you!

  168. That really is something to celebrate!!! I would absolutely love to have a copy of Broken, that would be utterly amazing!!!

Also, Every Single Raccoon, that we see is immediately named Rory 😉 Thank you for all the joy and all the shares that make life feel better and less lonely.
    All the love
    Lindsey

  169. The only one I don’t have yet is Broken. A signed copy would be the most amazing thing!

I’m sure you hear it all the time, but you have no idea how many people I have told to go read all of your books (immediately!) because you are such a lifeline. The struggle is long, miserable, and sometimes actually hilarious, and you make my bad days, oh, so much more bearable by sharing your words. Thanks for that.

  170. Congrats on the new translation 🎈 I’d love a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened 🐭

  171. Furiously Happy! While I read aloud the parts that made me laugh out loud to my husband, he would often reply, “ Please stop saying vagina.” This made me say it even more often through the guffaws. Thank you for sharing your magnificent stories with the world!

  172. If I had to choose I’d say Broken. It is the first book of yours I read after Beloved passed away. She absolutely adored your stories. She often said you were a modern day Thurber.
TBH though in the unlikely event my name gets drawn I would take whichever one was left over after everyone else got their pick

  173. That is so incredible! Do you try & read them since you know the material? You can learn how to say George Washington’s dildo in 20 different languages!! Truly, that must feel so surreal to know that your books are touching so many people’s lives! Yay for you, Jenny! If chosen I would love a signed copy of either Furiously Happy or Broken. You are our light in the dark, so thank you for sharing the realities of mental illness. ❤️‍🩹

  174. I am a new reader of your books but have really enjoyed them. My son is in a mental facility (7 months now) and wish I could take him one of your books so that he would feel he isn’t the only one with a struggle. There are so many people that have their own struggle. I applaud you for talking about yours in a fun but real way. You are making an impact in the WORLD! Congratulations.
I would be happy with any book.

  175. I read Let’s Pretend This Never Happened out of curiosity a little after it came out and I’ve followed you ever since. Love you!

  176. I would so love to add a signed copy of Furiously Happy to my collection of signed books. I remember finding it while in bed after taking sick on a trip to the Outer Banks to meet the lovely young woman who would become my son’s wife and feeling that after 50+years of life I had found a kindred spirit in you. And you were funny as hell on top of it all. Bless you to the moon and back for putting yourself out into the world to help all of us.

  177. Furiously Happy please. A dear friend was in the hospital with cancer and was almost entirely unresponsive until I read him excerpts from Furiously Happy and he came out of it enough to start laughing. We had several good months after that.

  178. I leant er lended or lent Let’s Pretend This Never Happened to someone who obviously is a twatwaffle for not returning it and they were so not memorable I don’t even know who to beat the shit out of with a bag of oranges. Can I has that one?

  179. Why does Facebook show me things a day (or days) too late?!?! I would have asked for Broken.

  180. Broken, please! One of my all-time faves. You’ve added so much joy to my life, Jenny.

  181. While I absolutely love all of your books, Let’s Pretend remains my favorite (probably only because I read it first)! 🙂 Thank you for all you do; it really does matter.

  182. I’m glad to have found you, it helps to know I’m not alone. I would love a copy of Broken.

  183. While I absolutely love all of your books, Let’s Pretend remains my favorite (probably only because I read it first)! 🙂 Thank you for all you do; it really does matter.

  184. Such exciting news- congrats! I haven’t read You are Here yet, so I’d choose that. Thanks! Rachel

  185. Congrats! I don’t have You Are Here but would love to fix that one way or another. 🙂

  186. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened is the first of your books I read, Jenny, and fell in love with your story telling! Nowhere Bookstore is on my bucket list to visit!

  187. I give copies of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened to all of my friends. And I’ve recently been going through some difficult things and relistened to all three of your audiobooks. I can’t thank you enough for your courage and honesty and especially your humor. You are amazing.

  188. Celebrate Everything!
I have and love all of your books! They have helped me tremendously in my life! If you were to send me a signed book, I guess my choice would be Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, but mostly I just wanted to say thank you for writing them and I love you! 😘

  189. It’s hard to choose because I love all of your books. I’m choosing

    Let’s Pretend This Never Happened

    because it was the 1st.

As I was reading this today, I was thinking, I want to see all those covers of her book in different languages and bam! you put the image right there!! It’s like you and I are the same person. 🤣

Love all your work and your heart so much!

  190. I would love to have the picture of all the covers as a poster to buy. They are so fun to look at.

  191. I would love a copy of any of your books. I am in Cape Town, South Africa and cannot find it here.

  192. A signed copy of Furiously Happy would indeed make me Furiously Happy. You know, your book changed my life and am sure that of everyone who read your books. Thank you.

  193. Congrats! Do you ever get to meet your translators?

If it’s not too late, I’d like “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened”. My copy has disappeared….

  194. You are Amazing! It’s good to celebrate the wins! I would live a signed copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. It was my introduction to you and my go to when the bad stuff happens. Thank you for sharing yourself with the world!

  195. You Are Here! I gave a copy to my sister for her birthday but I want one for myself with your signature in it! That would be awesome. (If I win I might try to do a cartwheel…with an ambulance on hand just in case it doesn’t work out so well for me.🤣)

  196. I am relatively new to the blogging community and believe two things 1) I need to read all of your books because I have obviously missed out and 2) I truly need to know about Washington’s dildos, I’m intrigued… so I’m going to put my positive vibes out there for Furiously Happy 🙋‍♀️ but if I don’t get choosen I’ll have to buy it anyway since my curiosity has been triggered… chickens, raccoons, and Washington’s dildos, come on now! Dawn from NJ

  197. i’d love a copy of Furiously Happy!
Bless you for being unapoligetically Jenny!!

  198. Furiously Happy 🙂 I have bought so many copies of this book because I give it to friends as birthday gifts. It would be a joy to have a signed copy

  199. And we, speaking for everyone, are really glad you are here. A much needed breath of fresh air. If I’m lucky enough to get a book, I don’t care which one it is. (Is that pathetic enough to get you to say, ‘oh he really should get a book!’ I really hope so.
    Thanks for being you.
    Joe

  200. Broken. Honestly it is the only one I haven’t totally memorized out of all the times I have listen to the audiobooks!! I really love all of your stories, and listening to your struggles has made a real impact on my life overall. Thanks for existing.

  201. You are here or Broken. It’s the two I haven’t read yet, they are on my list but I have no doubt I will love them both because I’ve loved everything you’ve written. I also gave Furiously Happy a friend for Christmas because I knew it was perfect for her and I wished that one day she could be furiously happy as well.

  202. I’d love to have a copy of any of any of your books. If it’s one I have a copy of, I’ll pop the less fancy one in a local free library to spread the joy.

  203. I love all your books and have shared them with all my favorite people. You Are Here would be the best autographed for me. Thank you for being so genuine and lovable!

  204. If I’m not too late, the only one I do not have is Broken. That would be a lovely wish.

  205. I would love a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened! Love you and your beautiful, crazy world so much!!

  206. Probably too late but this seemed the perfect time to tell you that Let’s Pretend This Never Happened is the only book my daughter has forbidden me to read again “in public” because I snort laughed so often while reading it.

  207. I have never gotten anything from commenting or entering draws but today’s been a good day and I am hopeful haha! I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to get a signed copy of Furiously Happy because it makes me FURIOUSLY HAPPY whenever I read it!!!

  208. I would love a copy of your first book, Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I used to work at my county library as a book processor. Best perk of the job was seeing every new book ordered. I was immediately drawn to your book and have been hooked ever since. I’ve recommended your books to many fellow bookacholics and each one is now also hooked on Jenny! I’ve been gifted bipolar disorder, with its many add on disorders, and you really help me! However, please choose someone else if they seem to need a book desperately!! Well hell, way too many exclamation points. Guess it comes with age. Love your dad for instilling stuffed dead animal decor in you. I think I love them all the bestest. Good luck to you and your mental health journey. Ugh, journey is so overused. See ya 🙂
    Robyn

  209. Having your delightful books out in the world in all those languages means you’re an ambassador for peace and love and mutual understanding, and there’s no job that could be more important than that. Thank you, Ambassador Lawson, for helping to keep the world’s people more sane and in love with each other.

  210. I’d love a copy of Let’s Pretend! I lent my copy out years ago and never got it back.

  211. Let’s Pretend! I have a friend who needs this right now, would love to share a copy.

  212. Hi Jenny… I absolutely pay love all your books and I recommend them to friends who need an all out belly laugh and who might also be going through anxiety and depression (because who isn’t these days). I’d love a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened as I reread that one whenever I need a laugh, but honestly, I prefer my kindle books so I have them with me at all times. Kindle app is notoriously hard to autograph. Maybe a coffee cup or a small Rory cutout? It doesn’t matter if I don’t win… you just keep doing YOU!

  213. Let’s Pretend this Never Happened would be my pick. Thank you for the opportunity to win one of your wonderful books! Thank you for bringing light into this world even when you have shadows seeping into your brain. My shadows feel less heavy just knowing that you are in this world too.

  214. I would love a copy of You Are Here! It’s the only one I don’t already have 🥰

  215. The image of your books is so satisfying!
Have some jigsaw puzzles made of this image & sell them in your store!

  216. Oh my gosh! I would love a copy of Furiously Happy because I’ve read mine so much that it’s really beat up and I want to pass it down to my daughter when I exit pursued by a bear.

  217. I’ve been a fan since I was 14 years old (I’m now 25!) and your blog has gotten me through some weird times in life. I already have copies of Let’s Pretend This Never Happenned and Furiously Happy but I would love (and cherish) a signed copy of Broken.

  218. That’s so amazing, Jenny! Nineteen translations of your wild, heartfelt stories—those translators deserve medals for tackling metal chickens and raccoon heists! I’d love a signed copy of Furiously Happy—its raw, hilarious take on mental health is everything. Thanks for spreading joy and weirdness! clicker games

  219. This is such exciting news! Congratulations on all the translations – 19 languages is incredible. It’s amazing how your books have reached so many people across the globe. The giveaway is a fantastic way to celebrate! I’d love a signed copy of “Furiously Happy”. Thanks for sharing your journey and this opportunity on Sleep Meditation.
