Here’s a bunch of stuff:
I was just checking the mail and I heard a woman yell, “PUT YOUR POOPOO IN YOUR POCKET” and I kind of just froze because I don’t even know how to respond to that? It seems like an insult or a threat but turns out it was an elderly woman from my neighborhood who was taking a walk and (I guess?) giving advice to a man who was walking his dog and was carrying a little plastic bag of (presumably) dog poo, and he sort of stutter-stopped and looked at her like, “Pardon?” and she was like, “Yeah, just put your poopoo in your pocket! Then you don’t have to hold it!” And then she grinned helpfully like it was the most reasonable life hack ever. Then she mimed stuffing shit in your pocket. He didn’t put it in his pocket but he did smile and wave and I can’t tell if this is a sign that I live in a very kind neighborhood or a very weird neighborhood. Also, now I can’t stop yelling, “PUT YOUR POOPOO IN YOUR POCKET” because it is very catchy.
Today is Victor’s birthday. Happy birthday, Victor! PUT YOUR POOPOO IN YOUR POCKET. (See…catchy.)
Yesterday I shared a new doodle on my art substack and it’s not very pretty but I really like it.
Today I shared my collection of antique photos of ACTUAL GHOSTS on my time-travel substack.
You can subscribe to either of them for free if you like, and you’ll get them in email each week. They’re different from the blog but still me. 🙂
Love!

I did put the poo poo in my pocket once on a very very cold day in WI. And then promptly forgot it was there, hung my coat like a reasonable adult, and then couldn’t figure out where the stink was coming from, until I put the coat on again and discovered the not so terrific “prize in the cereal box”. I reject that woman’s advice. Strenuously.
Why on earth would anyone put dog poo in their pockets? It’s like baby poop in diapers, you hold it far away from you and hope that nothing leaks or falls out.
I love your ghosts, and I totally see them, because I’m an empath so these things are drawn to me. I tell myself that your ghostly trio behind the human trio are simply a remnant of a tintype that wasn’t properly exposed of another family seating, so the photographer used the tintype again, and you can see the partially exposed figures in the background, but the middle apparition is much darker and less clear than the boy and the girl ghosts.
And the woman with the chair clearly has a woman wearing a coat or a cape with a hood or a hat with a veil, and is seated in the chair with her back turned slightly away from the camera.
Our world is filled with things that modern science currently can’t explain, and I think time is not linear in the universe, but is folded into layers on top of each other like a croissant and sometimes the layers get pressed together. And then we can see more clearly through them to the past or to the possible future.
And sometimes what we see isn’t ghosts of humans at all, but other entities, like angels or demons.
Oh, it’s so in my head…. Maybe a tad too catchy!
That’s hilarious. I needed to laugh today. I’m not feeling well mentally, but I know it will pass. Happy Birthday, Victor. Have an amazing day.

No poo in my pocket! Nope, I carry those paw printed colorful baggies in plain view. They’re validation that I’m a good neighbor and stellar citizen. I picked up, wanna see? I’m also feeding my dog good kibble. Just look at that quality and check that good odor!
Happy birthday, Victor!
Happy Birthday to your spousal unit! And, just thinking, maybe you could create a new craze like Beanie Babies or pet rocks. POCKET POO! I think it is a winner!
