Hello!
In the last month I’ve had quite a few people tell me that they’re having a problem leaving a comment on my blog and honestly I was too depressed to deal with figuring out what the problem was but today I’m feeling much better so can you help me figure out what the problem is real quick?
Everyone should be able to comment and see your comment posted immediately (unless you include a spammy amount of hyperlinks in your comment or are one of the two people who are in moderation for being the dangerous kind of crazy.)
So to see who is having the problem can you go leave a comment in the comment section to see if it shows up? If it won’t let you comment then please let me know in the comments. Wait. No. That won’t work.
If you can’t comment then let me know on Facebook or twitter or email me. Ideally if you could tell me what error message you get if your comment doesn’t go though and also tell me what browser you’re using when it didn’t work that would be perfect.
Also, sometimes people get an error message saying that you have to remember your password for wordpress to leave a comment but that’s just because you’re using an email address that you’ve used before for a wordpress account and wordpress wants to help you. It’s totally not necessary though and I don’t do anything with email addresses so you can feel free to just make up a new fake email address and it should let you in with no problems.
THANK YOU!
PS. If you need something to comment you can just tell me something awesome that you love right now.
I’ll go first. Right now I’m loving the latest season of GLOW (don’t judge me), the fact that it rained enough that my grass is green again, and my furry coworkers below.
Your turn.
Hello Jenny, it’s Saturday morning now in Australia which means the weekend which is about the most awesome thing at the moment! The WEEKEND 😃👍
Hello!
Looks good on Android browser

I love that my cat, Daisy, Daisy Adair, who is dying, is suddenly sleeping on my pillow every night. It’s like she knows, I know, and we’re just going to sleep together every night til she has to go.

Happy to hear you’re feeling better!

Hello from upstate New York!
Hi! This is a comment!
Hey hey Jenny.
I live watching people dance like maniacs.
I wouldn’t have bothered but I’ve just watched an episode of Brockmire which is the only thing that drag me out of the blues.
Hello,Jenny!
Aaaaaaah! This is a comment to help you with debugging. I wish I had something funny to say, but my brain is in work mode. Hope you get it figured out.

Hellooooooo
This is a test of the Emergency Redhead System. This is only a test. I do not exist. I am a Fig Newton of your imagination. Carry on, nothing to see here. 🙂
Leaving a comment because I always do what the internet tells me to. Lol
I haven’t had issues leaving comments, so far. Knock on wood!
Also, I love GLOW. I’m old enough to remember when it was actually a thing in the 80’s. LOL.
Hiiii! Right now I’m loving not having to get up at 5:15 am to get 3 kids ready for school. Also though, I need some me time desperately, so maybe 5:15 am isn’t so bad? 😆
I love that you share your life with us through your blog, books, Twitter, etc.!
Just got out of the hospital for a weird kidney infection that went mildly into sepsis. Love reading your blog though to keep me going.
Hmm. Things I love right now: this post, you smiling period, and learning to play the ukulele!
I love that it’s nearly 5:00 Friday.
Listening to “Rx (Medicate)” by Theory of a Deadman. It’s Friday. I haven’t exploded while screaming obscenities and crying. I’m muuuuch better.
Moving in to a new space full of light and color and peace.
I am loving watching the show Claws(also-don’t judge!) . Also that II get to have pizza night with my kiddos tonight.
I’m loving this French toast, which is a much better name than “stale, but moist eggy bread covered in tree sap”
Testing, testing. T.e.s.t.i.n.g. 6ft. Metal chicken is a go!
Hi from Seattle! I am loving my central air conditioning which makes my body less miserable than heat!

You are awesome and wonderful. I don’t know what GLOW is.
I just finished listening to John Doe’s fabulous account of the LA punk scene of the late 70’s and early 80’s – “Under The Big Black Son”. It features chapters written and read by other people who were there. There is also a bit of music from X between every chapter. I had no idea that the Go-Go’s started life as a punk band.
I love that your treatment is helping! It’s nice to know you are feeling a little better.
I love reading your blog!!!
Check. Check. Testing. 1, 2, 3.

I have no problems leaving comments 🙂 Right now I’m loving pesky kittens! And the fact that it’s quitting time so I can go nap on the couch.
Hi, just a test post, am I getting through to you Alva?
Your furry coworkers are the best.
It’s wonderful to see you smile, Jenny!!
Leaving a comment to see if it posts! 💖 Getting ready to head into the city to see Erasure tonight – someone gave me a pair of front row tickets. So excited! Have a great weekend 😊
I’m happy that my kittens are growing so big, haven’t killed them selves, and that my dogs love them.
Hi! I love that I was able to leave the house today and take my kids to the park.
Reporting in from Alabama. My dogs and cats (my own and fosters), family and friends are what I most love.

Loving that I’m on vacation as of 4 p.m. today! 🎉
Cute videos.
You are incredible!
Awesome things today: registered my car in a new state and climbing farther up a boulder than I’ve climbed before, last night.
taps mic Hi. My name is Matt and I’m a Catholic. It’s been 30 seconds since the last time I searched for more online cat pictures.

It’s my sister’s birthday, so I wrote a little poem. 🙂
Just a little zombie song
Though they’re really hard to train
They like to sing falsetto
While munching on your brain
Your eyes pop out their nostrils
And ears come out their cheeks
And all the while your birthday cake
Will fester there for weeks
But fear not, my Undead friend
For they will move along
There’s always someone down the road
To hear their birthday song.
Hope you enjoy Scotland. Have some sort of protection against midges although it probably won’t help!
Our beautiful balloon flower plant is going great guns this year. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DiAzbryX4AAnp0C.jpg:large
It’s been more than a month but I’m still loving that the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup. I don’t have a lot else to cling to right now but I’m hanging in there.

I’ve been off all this week and I’ve spent pretty much every day hanging out with my 11mth old mini poodle puppy and it’s been the best week ever!
So happy you are in a place to deal with mundane stuff. Jenny, you bring so much light to others. And my happy thought is that we are all okay, just as we are.
I love your posts that feature your furry friends!
Good morning from New Zealand! Saturday morning, and currently buried under a cat who is whining about it being cold. Even though the heater is on. At least he isn’t trying to let burglars in like Ferris though 🤣
Cats and doss are the best. And so are you. Glad you are feeling better!
This is a test comment. 🙂
You are amazing
I’m super pumped for the sandwich I am going to have for my lunch. That’s pretty much what got me out of bed this morning…it’s just been that kind of week.
I’m so happy you’re feeling better! I’m ready to read your new book.
Bueller? Bueller?
I’m currently happen about Britian singing the “Why are you such a cunt” song to Donald. YouTube search for “Trump such a cunt” will bring it right up.

Hi!
Had the best leg massage/pedicure today. I’m happy and relaxed for the first time in ages.
Hello!
Happy Friday Jenny!
Hi Jenny! Well, honestly the best thing that has happened lately is that I had the perfect nap a few days ago; not too long, not too short, didn’t wake up gross and confused, and I actually felt rested.
Hello? My awesome thing is the book I’m reading – a closed and common orbit by Becky Chambers.
I’ve loved you longer than any of my husbands. I hope you feel better every hour of every day.
what number did I get?
Comment test. I love videos of your animals 😂
It’s a beautiful (if warm) day in the PNW and I’m in love with the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkin.
I don’t have anything useful to say, just testing… for science.
Good morning from New Zealand! Saturday morning, and currently buried under a cat who is whining about it being cold. Even though the heater is on. At least he isn’t trying to let burglars in like Ferris though 🤣
I just finished the second season of Glow and it’s AWESOME!!
Currently loving savory foods, wine, my sweet and mammoth-sized “kitten”, and my new tablet. I am also very uplifted to read of your uplifted mood after your treatments!

It’s raining in the desert 😍
I just finished Mindhunter and I loved it!
There is some problem doing it this way when I have FB open.
Right now I’m enjoying having the cat sleep next to me on the couch while I read. ❤️❤️
I’m loving that my big sister is visiting, and she brought her dog with her!

Attempt #2
Hey, Jenny! Here in Anaheim for a convention so enjoying the beautiful, breezy day!
I wish I had time to help you with this Jenny but I’m just to busy today. Maybe Monday. Cheers!
Hello. I’ve recently discovered I love to fish. That’s one I never expected.
So glad you are doing well. Enjoy the hell out of Europe!
Hi Jenny.
I’ve been furiously happy to hear you’ve been feeling better!!!
Testing testing! 💃🏼
I judge you positively for liking GLOW. Haters gonna hate. Ignore them.
I love that I’m going to be too busy this evening to clean a damn thing in my house.
I caught MILCK at a big outdoor festival (Summerfest in Milwaukee – multiple stages, all kinds of music). I was just walking by and heard this astounding voice so I sat down to watch one song. I stayed for the rest of the set and ended up crying during her final song, she’s utterly amazing. I’ve been listening to her music every day since I saw her. She makes me think of Imogen Heap, a little bit of Adele, a big dollop of Amanda Palmer and some John Lennon.
GLOW is awesome!!!
I love our new 3-legged rescue puppy, even if she hasn’t quite figured out the potty-training bi5 just yet.
Well, well, well. What do we have here? Is it is, or is it isn’t a comment.
Awesome day sweating my guts out today.
Hope your day and solicitation for comments is going great, as well.

Hello from Shohola, PA.
It is Friday here in Florida the temp is about 4 degrees below normal, the lawn is mowed and I’m off work until Monday. (also I’m logging in with Twitter)

TOO Gotdammit
I’ve never left a comment before, but here! Hope it helps! You’ve helped me A LOT, so I wanted to return the favor.
What I love right now is that, after a shit year, I just planned something really fun for a few months from now, and I’M SO EXCITED ABOUT IT. I can’t remember the last time I felt really excited about something. The thing will be great, but that’s not what I love: what I love is getting that feeling like “oh! my life might be good! i might be able to do things for myself that make me feel good, and be excited not only for the things, but for the excitement I’m feeling!!” The feeling of being able to make myself happy is really fricking cool right now.
I love your cats and how much they try to help… they remind me of how glorious cat ownership can be. Good content is that I am on my way home.
Testing from Las Vegas, NV!
Testing from California
It asked me to login first.
I am loving the From Dusk Till Dawn series on Netflix right now.
I’m loving Arrested Development and the heat wave we have in the UK
You are awesome!
I am happy that it is Friday. 🙂
I’ve read your blog for years and years and have all of your books and have also had the privilege of once watching you read live. I don’t comment often but am always here, following and invested in your life. Thanks for all the love over the years. <3
Hi! I heart you muchly. I’m throwing my husband a surprise 40th birthday party this Sunday. I suspect he might know, since the FB event has popped up on my computer multiple times and he tends to sit next to me on the couch while I’m websurfing….but he hasn’t said anything, so hopefully he’ll just pretend to be surprised 😀 Ok that’s all. Have a splendiferous day!
Move to Seattle, they said. It’ll be wonderful and rainy, they said. Trouble is, no thunder and lightning. And no AC. And currently, pretty dry! I miss the south so much sometimes.
I like the pretty cat.
Testing!! Thanks for the cat tax. <3
Right now, I love that one of my coworkers brought in 9 lbs of fresh cherries for me just because he knew I liked cherries.
You are inspiring.
Hello from the Land of Lincoln
I only have an hour left of work and then I’m going to get my new bookish tattoo that I drew myself woo! Also, we’re getting a new washing machine tomorrow and I can wash alllll my clothes!! 😀
A black squirrel threw a peach pit at my dog as we walked by a tree. But its aim was bad and my dog took the high road so all good.
It’s really warm in Michigan right now, 90 deg, so air conditioning and watermelon make me happy today.
Furiously happy!!
I love that your smile is looking so happy lately!
Well. I thought I posted a comment but I don’t see it so I’m trying once more. This was not my original comment.
It’s a glorious sunny Friday afternoon!
This is also a test comment. And uhm, Jenny? You said if our comment doesn’t show up here to let you know thru Facebk, Twitter, or to your email? Welp, I’m not on either Fb or Tw & have never been able to find a direct email addy for you, so since I don’t think Jenny gets much chance to read these comments, could somebody else here that does know her email addy, reply with it? Thanks!
Hope you get this comment glitch figured out. Not only are your blog posts wonderful, but your commentators are extra bits of fun.
I just posted a comment and nothing happened. Trying again. I am happy you are coming back to health. I love watching you feel better!
The last episode of Season 2 of Glow is perfect and amazing and delightful.
Hello! Long time eeader, first time commenter. Wishing a multitude of blessings for you and yours.
Loving England right now and wondering where I can get one of those balloons. And there is a cat on my desk too.
So glad you’re feeling better! Happy today is home from away to my pup!
Hello! I’m glad you’re feeling better!
Hi Jenny! The most awesome thing in my life right now is that today I’m happy! You know exactly what I mean! It’s been a long time!
Long way down the page to say, happy Friday the 13th!
I envy your rain.
Right now I am loving life! Because, finally, after SO long, I am on a path for change. So looking forward to the next few months and the amazing life changes they are going to bring!
Work is annoying but I just heard my favorite song on the radio and my boss bought me mexican food for lunch 🙂
I saw pizza-flavoured perogies at the store today, and I didn’t love that, but I do love the moral indignation I felt over it.
Hi Jenny! I’m so glad you’re feeling better!
You are awesome and loved ❤️
Sending you love.
I love my internet friends.
does the hula around the assembled personages
I am loving my little weekend getaway to Nashville!
You’re awesome. I’m loving the happiness being shared. You inspire me to live furiously happy and I am so happy that you’re having a better day. 💜💜
Right now I am loving those “You Suck At Cooking” videos on YouTube. They are the most funny and clever videos I’ve seen on there in…I was going to say a long time, but it’s really more like ever? Between that and Maru the Cat videos, YouTube has basically become my favorite channel.
I love your furry co-workers! Cats bring so much happiness and love into our lives. My cat Charlie “Bruiser” O’Houlihan (that’s his Kat Fight Klub name, long story, lol) exudes love every time I see him. Although my cat is a bit more aggressive because he sits and watches me sleep and then when I don’t wake up on time to feed him he’ll put both paws on my face. As if saying “Ok human, you’ve slept long enough now get up and feed me. Oh yeah get ready for work too because you’ll be late”. Cats make my crazy life crazier! Love to see your doing so good Jenny!
Hello, is this thing on? Seems okay…
Hi Jenny! The most awesome thing today is that I’m happy! You know what I mean! It’s been a long time!
If you’re seeing this, it worked for me! (Dell laptop, Windows 10, Firefox 55)
What I’ve enjoyed lately: The video of your kitty climbing all over you while you’re trying to work. This is my life every single day. 🙂
Also: Yes, the rain! I looooooove rain and we don’t get nearly enough of it for my taste around here. (I live just a bit west of you so my weather is very similar to yours.)
I’m cat-sitting for my sister and watching Wimbledon tennis.
I’m loving my teacher planners for the upcoming school yar. 🙂
Your cat video made me LOL
I’m so loving that your treatments are helping!
Here’s a comment.
Not had a problem with comments myself. Yet 😉 It’s 9.45pm in the UK and I’m loving that we’ve finally had rain! And that my brown grass is now orange. Is that the colour it goes before it finally dies?
I’m happy to be having a birthday next week! Not everyone gets to enjoy a long life.
(This was in spam but I rescued it. Can you comment again to see if my filter learned that you’re not spam? ~ Jenny)
I love that you share your furious happiness. 0;-D
I’m typing this with a cat butt crossing under my chin…
I made ice cream today. Good day.
Hello! Your video with Ferris made me laugh out loud.
Hey Jenny! Right now I am loving that my husband is home from working 13 hours away. And that I can once again leave you a comments (being very positive that it will work again!) positive energy for the win!
I love Friday the 13th! 💖 The day. I’ve never seen the movies. 🐔🐓🐣🐥
If the world demans more than your depression can handle, that’s the fault ofsocietal expectations. Not you.
There’s only 2 people in moderation for the dangerous kind of crazy? That’s got to be below average for a blog, but reassuring I suppose. We’re just the normal type of crazy…
Sending you love.
I love that my friend got a new kitten, and immediately texted me to invite myself and my 2 kids over to come play with her kitten!
So glad you’re feeling better and be sure to watch the Polish guy whose cat climbs his head during an interview. Not leaving a link because of the link thing, but you should be able to find it pretty easily.
It’s Friday afternoon in Canada – and I have next week off!

Hi from hot, humid Wisconsin. I am happy today that I was not rejected for having low iron when I went to donate blood.
Right now I am loving the show Dirk Gently, my cats (always), and my constantly growing, changing daughter.
<3
I am loving Cloak and Dagger on Freeform, it’s the one show I watch on the night it airs. I’m also loving book 1 of the Charlotte Holmes series (Sherlock, but with a girl, and in the US), and as always the gentlemen of the Dollop podcast who keep me laughing when the world makes me want to cry.
I’m happy for the rare thunder, five minutes of rain and the few degrees of relief here in London.
Word press always wants me to sign in, lets see if I can fool it.
Today’s blessings are friends who help wash the dogs and remove glue stick from a fabric bag
Hi Jenny, you follow on Twitter me but I never really post anything 🙁 Then this week I started participating in #vss365 – writing a very short story in one tweet, from a daily prompt word. Now I’m happy that if you ever do see me, I have content!
It’s the weekend! And I love my hammock , so peaceful and relaxing!
Hello?
Love you Jenny!
Something I love right now is my new tattoo – I got “Depression Lies” on my leg: https://www.amazon.com/photos/share/PI3RPibsBfOlSHY7buGKikXSTn9OTBrzjxs4ndjV1u5

Here’s a comment test! How’d I do?
Happy Friday the 13th! Feeling productive today also! Miracles happen!
I haven’t watched GLOW but just finished binge watching S1 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It deserves all those Emmy noms. Anything with Tony Shaloub and Alex Borstein has to be good.
Loving that my weekend is only 72 minutes away and I have a new book waiting for me in my mailbox when I get home!
Ice cream.
Happy Friday!!!
Hello,
My kitten will be a year old in a week, so now I want another kitten.
We just got back from Yellowstone & it was awesome!
I’m one of the folks who’ve previously had trouble commenting, possibly due to the WordPress email thing, so here I am, making up an email address to see if this posts.
I just spent a whole day being polite with my in-laws and rewarded myself with a long country walk, a pretty sunset and talking to some laid-back cows.
Yay I was useful. Thanks for making it a good day.
Testing, testing, one…two…three…
I am so thrilled that you are actually having all these days of normal /happiness. It shows in the latest photos you’ve shared.
Haha, you really GLOW.
(I love seeing you so radiant, you’re always beautiful.)

Hi Jenny, I am so happy your treatment has done some good! I got some colouring pens for my birthday at the start of June and I am feeling good enough to try them on You are Here! I’m in New Zealand, North Canterbury. We have had some really cold frosts, this last couple of days have been -4.0 Celsius 24.8F, it Saturday and I slept in until 8.30 am!
I’m loving the tennis I’m watching!

It’s the first day of my first summer vacation from my first job after… 7 years or more of anxiety and depression. It feels so great and well-deserved. I hope your treatment will give great results.
Hello!
I love that your cats love you. Cats are perverse creatures!
Also loving that brain isn’t trying to kill you today!
I’m happy that it’s Friday and my silvery, cool Pacific Northwest is going to be sunny and warm this weekend!!
Here’s comment from Rochester, MN! It’s raining here – enough that it might mess up my kids (both boys) baseball tournament this weekend, and I have mixed feelings – I love watching them play and I also love being home in the A/C with no bugs and no crazy baseball schedules.
So, we could use the rain, just a little more slowly than we received.
I’m super happy that I finished book 13 of The Wheel of Time today. One more book and this epic journey is over.
Also I adore you 🙂
You’re one of my favorite writers on the planet.
Ps – Have you watched Queer Eye Season 2 on Netflix? So many good feelings!
I’ll second the Glow!
Looks good on Google chrome
I love this community!
It’s my oldest kid’s birthday tomorrow and we’re having cake and dinner out tonight!

Amazing.
An inspiration.
Totally human and allowed to have bad days/weeks/months.
Adorable.
Adorkable. (no, that’s not a typo)
and please please please do whatever you need to do to be healthy and happy.

No spammy hyperlinks; no hyperlinks at all. So I do hope this works! I’ve tried to comment before, but not been able to, so I’m glad this IS going to work. Right?
Also: what I love is Your blog, Your books, Your managing to live your life in the face of it all, and also Sloane Crosley’s description of a laugh as (I believe) a hyena being choked to death with bubble wrap!

The good is I’m surrounded by my cats watching a movie I love
This works! I wish we could reply to each others post but imagine that would take too much moderation but I still can wish! Jedi Hugs Jenny!
Testing… is it on?? taps loudly on keyboard until coworkers look over awkwardly okay, I think it’s working.
Hi there from sunny, stinking hot Winnipeg. We aren’t supposed to be as hot as you get in TX but seem to be.
Hello. Just testing if my comment will come up. 👍
I’m super happy that it’s Friday and I don’t have any real responsibilities this weekend except taking care of my/our 2.5 year old. I’m happy that I’ll actually have enough energy to spend time with her, thanks to getting over the horrible cold/flu that I’ve been fighting for over 2 weeks and also thanks to my antidepressants. Hope this comment (and everyone else’s) posts just fine!
I’m loving being on vacation with my kids in my hometown!
At work we finally got back within our goal for turn around time on our items. It’s been months… either 3 or 6 since we’ve been here. It feels soooo good!
Oh Yes !!! THIS IS BETTER !!!!! Is This Really YOU ????
BecUse, in MY previously 🙏🏼 Depressed state, I thought it was just some additional Dumb Thing About Being ME…… 😱. As to WHY I thought I used to …but can No Longer…..leave a clever impressive comment to my mental sister….(sorry!) Jenny Larson…….YOU ARE AS AWESOME AS YOU KNOW YOU ARE RIGHT NOW !!!!!
And That’s Pretty Awesome !!!!! 💙💚❤️💗👍🏼👌🏼💪🏼
I just want to help, so commenting from my phone. As one does. Have a great weekend!
I LOVE GLOW! Netflix is killing it with these awesome shows.
As for leaving a comment, I have a WordPress account, so my desktop already shows me logged in. But I tried leaving a comment on my mobile and it was asking for me to login.
Today I am loving the woman who randomly came into my sister and brother in law’s life and decided to donate part of her liver to my brother in law. He will get to see his kids grow up. They have surgery on Monday!
It’s the first day of my first summer vacation from my first job after… 7 years or more of anxiety and depression. It feels so great and well-deserved. I hope your treatment will give great results.
Seems fine and glad you are doing better
Hi Jenny! My something awesome is that there is a dinner theater nearby (La Comedia in Ohio) that put on an amazing version of Annie. We saw it last weekend. It has stunning vocals and great choreography and all.
Something that makes me happy right now… hmmm… I guess I’d have to say my children. Something that makes me irritated right now… hmmm… I guess it would still be my children. LOL That’s what family is all about I guess.
I love that, in about an hour, I’ll be at Potterfest at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History!
(thankfully my cat jumped down so I could type this…..)
Watching Love Actually…Hugh Grant dancing gets me every time!
Hi. This is a commentary comment about comments.
Furry coworkers are also my favorite kind. Also this is a learning experience for me as I have not commented on anything ever in wordpress mode and it looks like I can add a link to my latest blog post which is super not happy but I’m happy that I can do it. So I shall.
Well, was a looooooong scroll, but finally got to where I can post this comment.
I am loving This is Us even though it makes me ugly cry at least once an episode!
You’re the best, Jenny!
I love your secret reverse cat burglar!! <3
Testing the (TES-tih-kleese)
My dog is curled up next to me on the sofa. She’s lying on my foot but I don’t care. 🙂
PS: This is a comment. Hope everyone is having a good day!
I love that my gaming group started a new roleplaying game a few weeks ago, and I’m liking it more than I was afraid I was going to. And my character is totally rad.
So happy that your treatments are going well! ❤️
Wine!
I love little baby ducks, big pick up trucks and beer. I do not love that I am old enough to remember that song.

Check, check.
Looks like it’s all good from Seattle.
Glad you are feeling better! We got over an inch of rain in Stephenville last night!
I love you, Jenny!
Dear Jenny,
You are the best! Thank you for sharing your life and I hope it continues to get better and more joyful!
I am loving season 3 of Schitt’s Creek.
So glad to hear you are on the mend!
I love avocados.
Please if possible could you have a little book signing if you go to London or surrounds ? Pretty please !
Wine!
I’m horrible about self care and I got my hair colored. It’s highlights and twilght sparkle peekaboo color underneath and I’m never trendy so it’s exciting.
Jennifer from California leaving a test comment. Today I am thankful for vacation days. I took a much needed rest day from the office and it has done wonders for my mind and spirit already. 💖💖
Test test
Hi,
I’m so happy to know someone else who loves GLOW!
Beer.
I’m also digging the latest season of GLOW! I’m hyped about the weekend coming up and the fact that hopefully soon I’ll move to New Orleans! ❤️😊🎉 I’m glad you are feeling better and the magnets are doing sciency stuff to help. The future is NOW!
P. S. – posting from an iPhone
Oh, hell. There’s my comment, BUT I did have to sign in to a WordPress account I forgot I had. Is that okay? I guess “you don’t need an account to comment” is different from “but if you do have one, you have to get in there to comment on a blogpost, though you can read a blogpost and laugh loudly without doing so.” Which is weird.
Leaving a comment to see if I’m dangerously unstable/stalkerish. (Or if I’ve been caught yet.)
Hi Jenny! Hope you’re having a fantastic day! Thanks for being you 🙂 I’m gonna watch birds for a while before I work on building a website. And the other fifty thousand things I want to do. Wish me luck! 🙂
The latest season of GLOW is fab. Who dares judge?
After 20 years of a job I wasn’t fond of, in a town I wasn’t ever impressed with, my husband got a promotion and transfer.
We moved from Oklahoma to Colorado and I have a wonderful & fun job.
If I could get my knees fixed, I would be amazing!
Friday the 13th playing with you? It looks good to me (using Chrome on a PC).
Opening the link in the twitter browser didnt work, maybe chrome will?
There are plenty of comments, but one more wont hurt. Love your stuff. Glad you are feeling better
We just mailed a bunch of autographed copies of Cheers and Amen!
Dogs are awesome
GLOW is awesome!
I love avocados and England.
You’re a beautiful human being.
It is Friday and we have company (good company) for the next 10 days!
I am so sad that I’ve already finished season 2 of “GLOW”. On the upside, I have discovered Marc Maron’s podcast WTF. It’s the first podcast I could get in to. I love it ( and loved “GLOW ” also)
I’m guessing I’m not one of two dangerous posters, but I guess I’ll find out if my comment doesn’t work!
It makes me happy that you are feeling better. 😘
I needed a tiny pill container to carry pills but couldn’t find anything small enough, but then hit on a perfect solution – contact lens cases!!! Now I can carry several days or types of pills in a tiny space. Yay!
I’m loving that the weekend is coming in just a few hours and for once I don’t have to work. Weekends without work are so scarce, I sleep the heck out of them
Heeeeellllooo!!
I love that it’s friday and I’m done with work for the week and I also got a 87% on an exam (only missed 8 questions)!
Hi Jenny! Right now I Love American Gods by Neil Gaiman, though everyone always thinks I’m saying Neil Diamond, and then people get VERY confused.
I’ve lost 10 pounds – only about 75 to go – and rewarded myself by ordering some Marvel Tsum Tsum miniatures (Hawkeye, Vision, Thor, Rocket and Nebula), because my motivator is one Tsum Tsum for every 2 lbs. dropped, since it’s NEVER too late to have a happy childhood.
Also, you’re terrific.
That I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel…I think…
This is only a test! Hugs! ♥
I’ve rediscovered my love of Sesame Street via my very cute 10 month old. Watching Cookie Monster doing his thing is like visiting with a long lost friend.
Hello from Firefox on Windows.
Test Test 1 2 3
I’m helping! <3
Hola! I usually have no issues leaving comments. And I’m loving that it’s Friday the 13th. Movie night is sorted. whips out crochet stuff to keep the old hands busy
I’m happy that today I can see my progress in acting an also see where I need to improve at the same time. It’s not always like that when learning stuff. Sometimes I can’t see either or only one and it’s frustratig
Hey Jenny, I once hit an armadillo while riding my bike. He was fine. I ate asphalt.
Hope you’re having a beautiful day!
I recently wrote a short novella totally on accident. I sat down to write a quick short story to quiet all the noise in my head and just didn’t stop writing for four days. It’s a jumbled mess of nonsense, but it’s finished and ready to be edited/rewritten. For once, I’m actually proud of myself, which is honestly the much bigger deal, when I think about it.
Hello! This is a 2nd test! ♥
Sending lots of love!
My grass is very green and the fire is getting contained
You just asked one of the most technologically inept people in the known world to help you with a technological problem. Bwah, ha, ha, ha, ha! But seriously, it might just be WordPress screwing up. There have been times in the past where I’ve tried to comment, and been denied by WordPress, or asked for my password, and then been told it’s the wrong one, or been told I don’t have a WordPress account (I surely do), then come back the next day, or even the next few hours, and have had no problem commenting. Meanwhile, I’m still trying to figure out the image editor on my WordPress site. It’s putting in a lot of my pictures sideways, so I rotate them in the image editor, but they still end up sideways when I’m done and insert it into the post. I’ve got to where I just ask people to look at it sideways.
Lol “reverse cat burglar”. I love when you have new posts, because they always make me chuckle at least twice.
I’m happy because it’s Friday afternoon, which means we’re getting ready to meet up with friends and drink adult beverages. It’s about a zillion degrees outside, and the bar has amazing A/C, so it’s double happy stuff for me!
Commenting! I am excited b’c I didn’t know the new season of GLOW was out!!! No judgment here, I loved the first season!
I learned to dye my own yarn this week. It was harder and funner than I thought! Now if it will just dry, I can make something with it.
Is this thing on? 😉
Hi Jenny,
glad to hear you are better.
Take everyone!
I’m in Ludington, Michigan. I think it’s the greatest place on earth. You should visit. Have a great weekend!
My favorite thing lately is rewatching Deep Space 9. It is so much fun!
One drunken night I decided to host a World Cup party, so cooking and cleaning for tomorrow night. Still it’s a good distraction from your President who is in visiting tomorrow. Not visiting my party thankfully, just my country 😄
I love that I look for giant chickens in every store I go in, hoping to find my own Beyonce!
Melissa
I get to pick up my cat this weekend – she’s been “vacationing” at my parent’s house. She’s been staying with them as a post-surgery distraction. Plus, baby otter videos are always cute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2j_76w8Hbn0
Testing!
I think we watched all of season one of GLOW. So no judgements.
Love you! (FB app)
Hi, I love that you’re feeling much better now. The world is a raging dumpster fire and you’re one of the few good people left. No pressure.
Friday. That is all. 🙂
I love Big Fat Orange Cats–like Hunter S. Tomcat.
I am loving my grandsons absolute certainty that he sees an entire Bigfoot family when we ride up the ski lift. BTW…they go to Bigfoot school and have Bigfoot teachers.
I love that today I can see both my progress and what I need to improve about my acting at the same time. Typically, I can see one or neither and it’s just frustrating. But today is cool.
I love that you’re making good progress! And my dog and my new job. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Visiting my parents and got to see a bunch of extended family yesterday. Tomorrow hubby comes home from a business trip!
GLOW is the best! It’s been my guilty pleasure since I finished Nailed It! in a day and a half. P.S. thanks for being you and for sharing yourself with us.
San Marcos fan of the Bloggess posting using MS Edge. Remains to be seen whether this post shows up or not. I’m loving the fact that they are making a Downton Abbey movie!
Testes!
We recently cut cable and started exclusively streaming. Best thing ever. Saving so much money! And now I get to watch cool stuff like GLOW and Handmaids Tale so I can see what the big deal is. Diggin’ Kimmy Schmidt, and Brooklyn 99 too. 😁
I think you’re awesome.
Hi
And it worked!
I love that it’s the World Series of Poker time of year. I also love that my two kids are currently in one of my favorite places by themselves for the first time ever (my oldest is 23 now). What a gift to have two children that enjoy each other’s company.
Have never had a problem leaving a comment. However, when I click “include a link to your latest blog post” it always links to the same article I wrote 5 months ago about restaurants in Neptune Beach Florida (spoiler: they are amazing). Not your problem, but driving me up a wall.
I can post and I am so happy that the treatment is working for you!
Right this minute I’m loving that even with agoraphobia I can still have a steak dinner from Saltgrass… delivered. 👍
Straight up
Cried straight up at GLOW twice this season❗️
GLOW is awesome.
I am currently loving season 3 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (it just came out on Swedish Netflix and I’ve already watched nearly all of it).
Hello from Colorado! I’m happy today because burly workmen are completing our summer home right now. And when I say summer home, I mean that our local handyman and his son are turning the back patio into a screen room, which is even better than a summer home that you’d have to drive to. And no packing!
I always look forward to your posts!
I am loving the ant-Trump signs in London right now
Just discovered juneberry pie! Who knew that was a thing, but it was AWESOME! 🙂
Hi Jenny! I just started getting into rock painting! You know – you paint a rock and leave it somewhere for someone to find and then they can keep it or rehide it? Lots of cities are doing it now. I’m not sure how many people will want to keep my rock because I’m really not an artist!! Check out Winnipeg Rocks on Facebook!!
I love my new job! Stress free (right now anyway)! My co-workers are awesome! So glad TMS is working for you!
Binge watched season 2 of Glow… love it! – B
Cute video with you and your kitty and the computer!
Something good? It’s Friday and we’re fixin’ chicken fried steak for supper!
Wishing you a fun weekend. 🙂
Ok, my 1st comment took 2 tries. I had to fill out the name and email 1st, then wrote my comment. The comment made the name/email disappear, but it posted anyway. When I wrote the comment 1st, the slots to put in the name/email disappeared and I could not retrieve them. None of that is happening as I type this comment. 🤔
Right now I am loving Big Fat Orange Cats. But then, I always do–including and especially Hunter S. Tomcat (best pet name ever).
I freaking LOVE GLOW. No shame, my friend.
Good afternoon from the OC. I loved that little smile in your China video in response to your dog 😸 (I know this is a cat. I don’t have a smiley dog emoji)
Commenty comment.
I’m LOVING how much better you’re feeling! And also the perfect Pac NW Summer weather we’ve been having.
This is only a test of your commenting system. If this was a real comment, I would have tried to come up with something good to say.
The sound of the ice cream truck coming down the street.
A class of wine in the summer twilight.
The screams and laughter of children playing a game no one understands the rules of but them.
Being head bumped by a cat.
The smell of someone barbecuing in your neighborhood.
The sound of a happy dog running through the house.
The hug of a friend.
Kindness in all forms.
And Jenny Lawson, for making me list random things that make me happy – thereby cheering up my mood. 🙂
Hmm, testing again. (Comment didn’t post and number is fluctuating when I close and come back? Chrome on Windows desktop.)
I love that you’re making progress! And I love my dog and my new job!
I am commenting. So glad you’re feeling better and ready for Europe!!
I love that my kid just had an awesome week at zoo camp. I hate that we are about to have a car repair bill of $1000+.
I like your video with the kitty and computer!
Something good? It’s Friday and we’re fixin’ chicken fried steak for supper!
Wishing you a fun weekend. 🙂
Helping out with your test: It’s 5:07 here on the East Coast and I’m still at work taking a couple minutes break from computer programming with my headphones on rocking to Meghan Trainor’s “I Won’t Let You Down”. A great weekend to you, Victor and your daughter. Because William Shatner will finally totally come and visit you at your house this weekend! Well no, actually he probably won’t. And it’s his loss.
Comment!
It’s 5:00 pm on a Friday afternoon. That’s pretty awesome. And you’re pretty damn awesome yourself, my friend!
Hello! Testing. 🙂
Greetings from San Diego!
Testing
Rats. Posted twice because the first comment didn’t show up . . . until it did. The good news: both worked (eventually).
No problem commenting (obviously), but I bet if I changed my email address to my home address instead of keeping it on my work address where it is now, I’d have problems.
Hey, Jenny! Here’s a test comment. (And my “good” thing, I can’t tell you yet. Sworn to secrecy! But it’s a goodie!) Love you!
Seeing my thousands-of-miles-away cousin this weekend.
The ability and luck to have been able to break into my own house when the doorknob broke.
Ice cream.
Pizza.
Preferably in one meal.
And having a lazy ass dog who makes me feel all righteous for going out for a walk when even she doesn’t want to.
Oh, and of course YOU, Jenny Lawson.
I’m not a big lover of cats, but I love yours.
I am happy because it is Friday and it is almost time to go home to relax with my husband and grandcat. I hope this comment goes through! I use my WordPress account (even though I don’t blog…)
I got an error in chrome – Your connection is not private and then when I clicked advanced This server could not prove that your security certificate is from *.wordpress.com.
Then I said to let me go anyway and here I am…
My cat is hiding under my bed, so I love watching videos of other people’s cats!
I love that today is National Ice Cream Dayand our office had someone from the local Ben & Jerry’s come in and serve us cups and cones. 😀
I love Good Girls on Netflix.
Someone actually reached out to me (none of the fake people who like to pat themselves on the back in their posts for caring about friends in need, naturally) and came over to sit outside with me and talk about how dark and raw I am feeling lately and offered to be my accountabilibuddy and help me reach out for the help I have needed for too too long now. That’s pretty damn miraculous.
How nice of your blog to automatically allow me to comment using my WordPress.com account.
The new Harry Potter Legos 🙂
Hello! So glad you’re feeling better today. 🙂
I’ve never commented on a blog before…so I guess I love trying something new!
Crazy cat people, unite! ❤️
Testing, 1, 2, 3….
It worked! It worked!🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖
Hi Jenny,
I’m happy that I got to spend a few hours relaxing at People’s Pond this morning with my 7-year-old daughter, and she played in the water and made a new friend while I read about Chronic Kidney Disease (I’m a Dietetic Nutrition intern). What a great start to my weekend! =) I hope your day is going well too. Good luck with trouble-shooting this problem. =)
Tap tap tap. Is this thing on? 😁
This is a test to out the lurkers, isn’t it? Love your work Jenny and posting from Toronto on Armorfly Browser.
Hi , I’m loving having a crush 😀
I’m loving my neighbor’s puppies today.
Glad you are feeling better. Random thought -Carmel coated cheese popcorn is delicious.
My neighbor’s cat escorted me on my morning walk. That made me happy.
It’s Kate & the most awesome thing right now is the weekend with a party to go to (with people I actually want to see) and feeling better myself. Are my meds actually working? Let’s hope!
I love that tonight is opening night for the second show of our three show summer stock theater.
I’m in love with my new kitten George. He is feisty in all the right ways
It’s Kate & the most awesome thing right now is the weekend with a party to go to (with people I actually want to see) and feeling better myself. Are my meds actually working? Let’s hope!
Hi Jenny <3 What I Love right now is The Broken Earth trilogy, which is keeping me sane amidst everything crazy on all levels. Thanks for being you and all you do!!!
Insert generic test comment here.
Shazam!!! And I have no idea why I said that. Checking in from iOS.
My 17 year old son is testing for his black belt in Taekwondo tonight. He has Aspergers and some things don’t come easy for him. He has worked his butt off the last 4 years! I’m so proud, excited and nervous for him. Now where did I put the xanax.
I found four kittens new homes this week. The new parents are excited and one has already done a newborn photo shoot.
It’s so great to see you smiling and getting a reprieve from that asshole Depression. I’m excited to read your new projects!
Two nights ago, my 5yo daughter ran through the house naked yelling “Naked Freedom” at the top of her lungs. In related news, she also introduces herself as adorable and shy.
Test #2: crying while watching Glow is
My favorite.
i think i can comment… but i can only read your blog is i open up safari. i use firefox for everything else and only reinstalled safari for you. i’d like you better in firefox, though. it’s more flattering.
I’m leaving this comment via my Kindle.
It’s so wonderful to hear you laugh at Ferris trying to unlock the window! Animals are fantastic! I have a weird bone problem and have to do exercises on a balance board to keep my muscles symmetrical and yesterday my dog Merlin decided to get on the balance board with me. He wanted to balance too! It looked like fun!
I love that it is Friday!
I love that I know my brain is off this week. Hoping for a nice weekend for it to come back.
Here is a post from my iPhone. It’s hot here in Iowa.
I am standing in the back yard, outside of Philadelphia PA, waiting for my 11lb Shichon puppy to poop. If you ever come to Philly I will buy you the best cheesesteak in the city.
Is it working? (knocks on screen)
Glad you are feeling better and that you are enjoying GLOW. My husband and I love it too
Maybe not “love” but instead “pleased” that today i got around to slapping some nail polish on my toes so i can finally wear sandals this summer.
I’m loving Jerry Seinfeld’s latest season of Comedians in Cars getting coffee. So good.
You’re awesome, and I love you.
Thing I love of the moment: That Postmodern Jukebox took a song I have loathed (Mmmbop by Hanson) and turned it into a fun, upbeat, awesome do-wop number out of the 50s. 😀
Adopted my son yesterday! (checking in from Chrome)
I rediscovered a musician that I love but had forgotten about – LENKA. She makes me happy.
I went to the Women’s march in London today, and there was a little girl whose homemade T-shirt said “LOVE DINOSAURS, HATE TRUMP”
Jenny, saw this on my FB. I want to say how happy I am that your treatments are working. I’ve switched my meds a few months back and am doing better. Never could explain what my depression felt like til now. Numbness, you said in a video and I had the ah-ha moment. Have a wonderful weekend.
I love GLOW! I hope everyone is having a great day!
I love my husband, my cat, my family and the beach.
I love my husband who just took a page from one of your calendars and framed it for me – Depression Lies.
Happy to hear you are feeling up to the task of tackling a problem. Go you!
Friday night and I have a MOMS group mom’s night out in a couple of hours. Happy about a hot meal and some chatter that doesn’t involve being interrupted by kids!
For the past several years I have been dizzy. Three weeks ago I got contacts and I no longer have daily dizziness. I never would have thought my glasses were making me dizzy. I’ve worn glasses for 23 years. I also never thought I would switch to contacts, but now I’m very glad I did.
I’m using the browser Firefox. I’m happy to have indoor plumbing that works in our new house, and I’m watching the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (based on a recommendation from one of my students).
I’m finding my small joys today! My office is closing but I’m not loosing my job – I just get to work from home….starting now. This will be different. Good different hopefully! Anyway I made cookies for the transition!
Leaving a comment. I’m currently listening to the new Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song on repeat because it’s a great summer song. I’m glad your treatments are working! 😀
Hi Jenny! Today, I love that after a super stressful, nightmare inducing cross country move, I finally have a roof over my head again and can start getting my life back to my version of normal.
Did anyone else worry that they were one of the crazy pants people in moderation? Just me? Ok.
I’m freaking writing a book, man.
Hi Jenny, sending you all kinds of positive vibes from Houston. You look and sound great!
Hello Jenny! This is kind of lame and not profound like a lot of these comments but I am really enjoying watching Wimbledon (and finding something I actually enjoy is hard). Hope this goes through!

I’m using the browser Firefox. I’m happy to have indoor plumbing that works in our new house, and I’m watching the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (based on a recommendation from one of my students).
Happy Friday the 13th! You really are radiant these days, and not in the Chernobyl kind of way.
Halp, I’m stuck in IKEA.
Here goes! Leaving a comment. See, I left one. If I don’t see it, though, I’ll def tell you on the Twitter machine.
I love reading about how much better you are feeling!
looking good on Safari and a MacBook Pro.
Motherfucking Schitt’s Creek!!!!! Eugene Levy, his son, his daughter, Catherine O’Hara. It’s so freaking good!!! On Netflix
Your courage and strength inspire me everyday to be the best that I can be. You make me laugh out loud and remind me not to take thing so seriously. Thank you.
I am ALSO loving the second season of GLOW and my 10 yr old niece who is on track to be the next FloJo (the girl is wicked fast with legs up to her armpits, I swear) and wrote her daddy a note about how nice it is that he makes her bacon every morning. 🙂
This is a test of the Emergency Bloggess System.
I love all the gorgeous weather we’ve been having and I love that you’re feel much better!
Going out tonight to hear Big Sam’s Funky Nation!
I saw the word queso on your blog and now I’m headed to Moe’s.
I’m currrntly (like, right this minute) binge watching Offspring in Netflix. Highly recommend.
Hi Jenny, I just found out a few minutes ago that I start rTMS on Monday which is awesome. And exciting. And nerve-wrecking. Eeeek!
GLOW is great and anyone who judges you for liking it should be judged for their poor taste in TV.1
I’m loving that it’s Friday the 13th and it’s my birthday and my sons gave me a secret birthday present even though their dad told them not to because I don’t need anything!(It’s bright orange Allbird’s shoes. Such good boys!)
I won’t judge you for GLOW- I watched the new season in 2 days. I’m slightly obsessed with a new a new book series by Robyn Bennie. The first book is called The Guns Above. It steampunk-ish and full of badass women.
OTOH, if one LIKES a comment here, one must do some sort of machinations with WordPress, which I did not do as I hate machinations. So, here’s a blanket LIKE for all of you.
You have the best cats!

It’s working!
Ummmm… I spent $500 on 3 motel-style room door conditioners today and it was totally worth it to get the temp in my room down to 72 from 95, even tho that’s still too freaking hot.
Commenting from my iPhone…
I was going to include a picture of my handsome black cat in honor of Friday the 13th, but I don’t know how to do that…😩
I love the laughs of my children while the fireworks, the wind in my face and I love you 😘
I am glad it’s the weekend, honestly. And I literally just started Glow and already love it.
Your cats crack me up😂 My Siamese can open our screen door to let his brothers out so I love his yen for freedom.
Hello <3
I’m enjoying that my 6 month old twins are adorable! Moxie is very smiley, and loves eating peaches, and Hugo is very giggly and loves eating EVERYTHING. Food is new for them, so it’s fun to see them try new things!
Anonymous post from Vancouver, BC!
I’d sign in but I’m too lazy to remember my wordpress info
It’s Friday. That is my happy thought right now.

Today has been the first day since I had to peacefully terminate my 15.5 year old “puppy” that I felt real joy. It came when I found handles for a dresser I have been struggling to finish.
I’m loving the show Galavant. It’s both terrible and awesome…my new guilty pleasure.

Hello from Sarasota where I am getting damn tired of sleeping on the floor! Thanks for letting me vent.
I’m happy that your treatment seems to be working as it should. I’m happy that a broken relationship doesn’t mean I’m broken. I’m happy that there are friends and family in my life who truly care. I’m happy that my therapist gets me and knows that since I don’t cry very often when I do, it’s cause for alarm or at least a hug. I love you Jenny. Thanks for all you do.
I am loving that I had today off and that flowers I planted are blooming. So happy that you are feeling better!
GLOW is a super fun show!
P.S. I’m commenting in Safari on an iPhone, in case that’s helpful.
Technology! shakes fist in air
This comment is coming to you from Nova Scotia 😊
The new season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee dropped and was delightful. Plus I found out a new season of Great British Bake-Off is on the PBS app, so I’ve got my weekend plans all set.
I’m super happy that I got a nap today
I’m loving how many archery tournaments I have coming up… So many chances for more medals!
Friday aft. in Sask. Power is back. Was going to try posting an old picture of moving a friend but don’t see an option.
Testing testing …. 1…2…3…….. Seems to be all good.
I am loving seeing you smile and loving seeing me lose some weight. We are awesomely wicked!
I’m currently re-reading Outlander, since it first came out, and loving it all over again!
Your new treatment working is making me happy
Was not happy when a 90 minute commute doubled. But super happy to finally be home after two days away.
The new season of GLoW was awesome! Right now I’m loving that it is finally summer weather here on the west coast of Canada!
Testing the comment thingy
I love that I have a new-to-me bookcase in my house that gives me room to own ALL THE BOOKS. Now I just need money…
Sitting on the loveseat with my dog Bailey snoozing by my side 🙂
Super happy to finally be home after two days away and a 3 hour drive (that should have been 90 min)
This season of GLOW is a masterpiece!
I’ll have to try out GLOW, but right now I’m psyched about the return of Harry Potter weekends. Happy Friday the 13th!
It’s summertime!
Love your “helper” at the keyboard. Using my Ipad, and have never had a problem posting w/you. Right now I am loving the relatively low humidity in the DC area, because we can sit outside and enjoy a tasty beverage! Also loving the fact that we jave a weekend free from obligations, so what to do? Movie, reading, gardening, cooking…..it’s hard to choose!!
I am loving my new Marimo Moss Balls! They’re gorgeous, and prefer the cold and low light, as do I! Woot!
homemade hamburgers, even if they are made with preformed patties
I love my new teacher planner and the snuggles I’m getting from my daughter right now. 😊
I’m loving these Dairy Free Oatmeal Peanut butter Chocolate Chip Scones I just made and I LOVED the second season of GLOW!
My cat, Tuxedo, is an idiot

I am currently loving that they make gluten-free chicken nuggets.
Testing for Jenny in 3… 2…
Hi Jenny.
Something amazing for me was taking the week off to be with my kittens after getting them neutered. I am privileged that I am able to do so.
I did notice on your comments that I had to leave my name and email first. It wouldn’t let me enter that information once I started writing.
Hi, I sometimes feel like my depression makes me stupid – I forget things I definitely should not forget, such as taking my thyroid medication for three straight weeks. After being on it for YEARS. This is one example. I am often confused and forgetful. Sometimes I have something sorted in my head but what comes out of my mouth makes zero sense. Does anyone else get this, or maybe it’s unrelated to the depression/anxiety? I have not always been this out of it.
Incredibly happy the weekend is here!
Hi Jenny and Bloggess Tribe! It’s pouring rain right now in Port Royal, SC. I’m super happy that I have nowhere to go and nothing to do after a very long week at work.
The weekend finally!
It’s Friday the 13th and that’s awesome! My birthday is on the 13th (not this month) and it’s always been my lucky number. I’ve also had four black cats, though none currently. I’m recovering from a corneal ulcer and getting used to wearing progressive glasses (like bifocals but weirder) until I can go back to contacts next week. It’s weird because I wore contacts for 40 years and I’ve discovered some things are better with glasses, though most are better, for me anyway, with contacts.
Our cats decided to help prolong the enjoyment of a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle by rearranging it in the night when we thought, “We won’t have to roll it up in the puzzle mat, the cats have been really good at not going near it.” OH GULLIBLE HUMANS WE WAIT FOR OUR MOMENT.
Commenting…Things to love: Kitties, Puppies, Doctor Who, Binging a favorite show, our weird and wonderful community here.
I am so happy your treatments are helping (and only a little jealous) 🙂
I’m learning braille
Working for me, firefox on mac. logged in to wordpress.
Also working if I include links (I did so on one of your latest posts).
I love Glow too!
So glad you are sharing your TMS journey. It’s giving me bravery to share mine.
Trying a second comment. Got an error the first time, then logged in to WordPress.com and linked to your log from there, and the comment worked OK.
If I can comment, it will be for the first time and That will be my good thing.
YOU are one of the awesome things in my life 💖 I’m really happy about and hoping your new therapy continues to help you
Second test for Jenny…. no website this time…
This weekend, my husband and I are finally celebrating our anniversary that was 3 months ago.
Test (setting a checkmark for ‘Include a link to your latest blog post’)
I can hear in the dark.
Glad to hear that you are responding to treatment. I was sad to hear
It’s my first time leaving a comment. I should probably do this more often.
Hello from Florida!
Third test for Jenny, this time by saved/bookmarked URL & not from a tweeted link…
allo?
You probably won’t get this far, but there hasn’t been much joy in my life right now. Health issues for me and my immediate family and my husband is 14 hours and 6423 miles away. So I will be joyful about still being here and having medical care that might fix me. And for a 85 lb Labrador who will be greeting me when I get home. Hugs to you!!
I’m happy that I it’s 20 degrees cooler today at 96 than it was last Friday at 116! My roses
were fried.
Chrome on Mac, while not logged in to WordPress, is behaving wrong, yes.
I can read http://thebloggess.com/2018/07/13, but if I click either on the title or on ‘580 comments’ the whole page turnes pink, nothing else to see.
Something I love? I’d say the fresh-baked gluten-free cinnamon rolls that are almost ready to come out of the oven.
third time’s the charm?
I love the fact that the bamboo grass in my backyard isn’t dying, the bunnies that live under my deck have been dining on it. Middle of downtown Salem, the cutest lawnmowers i’ve ever seen.
I saw, what looked like, the Hand of Glory today. Or a live mummy hand (think Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode Life Serial). Just sitting on a shelf in a hangar like it was no big deal. (Photo in my IG stories @U2Lorax)
Q: What happened when Bluebeard fell overboard in the Red Sea?
A: He got marooned.
Happy that our grill finally got delivered!
I have gotten so much joy out of seeing your beautiful smiling face in recent posts. I’m hopeful that your treatments continue to bring you more good days than bad. Your words have brought me so much comfort and hope on dark days. 💗
I’m not a DANGEROUS AMOUNT OF CRAZY!!! YAAAYYYYY!!!!! 😂😂😂
My little bunny girl is in love with Chris Pratt.
Hi Jenny…just a comment to see if comments are working yet…I love that it’s Friday and I’m done with work for the week. 🙂
Firefox on Mac displaying ok while logged out (but have to log in of course to post).
(offline soon)
Hi Jenny. I’m happy that you are online, and that i had a nice day in my wool shop today with cupcakes and tea. Love xxx

I love your pets!
Waking up and Hoping for a good day and it actualiteit being one
I love that it is Friday! And that my college age daughter is at home for the summer and that we get pizza for dinner. Lots to love today.
I loved the second season of GLOW!! Need more episodes! Need something new to watch though. I’m going back and rereading a few books from “The Cat Who…” series by Lilian Jackson Braun. I forgot how much I enjoyed them.
Glad you’re feeling more able to deal with stuff. It seems I can post!
Hi!! So happy for you and the success you’re seeing with the treatments. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. You are not alone.
Mr. Watson, come here!
Oh, indeed: my comment from above is not true: I can also post while not logged in.
I secretly have a favourite amongst my four cats
Comment.
I love my cat, my dogs, and that it’s quiet at the moment.
🙌🏼
I’m at the Texas 4h state dog show with my “kids “. I’m a volunteer leader and in charge of the dog drill team. I’m loving watching my team have fun. This is my 15th year!! If you’ve never seen a dog drill team, go to YouTube and search for Wise county Texas dog drill to see previous years!!
I have nothing to say but thank science for magnet woodpeckers.
Mostly because… you know…. peckers.

Testing 1, 2, 3 …
Hello!!!
I love your furry coworkers. Mine, for a change, is not lying on my keyboard. He’s the usual reason I cannot comment!
I just returned from a week-long handweaving conference. I am inspired and want to make All The Things!
It’s my birthday weekend!
I love that you are starting to feel better.
Re-watching Parks and Rec makes my tired soul feel better.
I loved being in Women’s March London today x
I’m loving the chair the cat is on while trying to unlock the window !!!
I’m happy the sun is shining and my roses are blooming!
I could watch the video of the cat on the keyboard over and over. Non-cat people would say “just put the cat in another room” but we understand that felines take priority over anything else.
PS about Chrome on Mac: older posts display correctly.
And m happy that I slept the sleep of the dead last night. I’m irritated that, because I had a WordPress blog 10 years ago, it still insists that I log in in order to leave a comment. While telling me that there’s no account linked to my email address. Then sends an email to that address so jay I can change the password linked to that address. MEGA EYE ROLL!!!
Testing 1 2 3…and the blueberries are ripe!!
You make me laugh inappropriately in public places, and for this I will be forever grateful.
Happy Friday Jenny!🦔
I love Friday afternoons because it means the weekend is just about here….
I love that it’s Friday the 13th. Weirdly, it’s a good luck thing with me. (And one of the reasons hubby and I chose the 13th to get married. ❤️)
I love that I got to see my family last week, including both kids and grandchildren and a brother I haven’t seen in years. And also that the TMS is working for you!
It’s watermelon season!!!
So very glad to see your smiling face in photos lately and know that you’re feeling it! And commenting is functional as well!
SqualorHouseGail checking in….
Thank you for being open to sharing your journey. It helps me to know that I will be okay too.
You’re amazing!
I’m checking in to say that Queer Eye is getting a third season! If you aren’t a fan, you might check it out. Super fun!
I love that you’re feeling better! Thanks for sharing your life with all of us!!
I have had anxiety this week like I’m living in a fever dream. I’m mildly surprised I haven’t just keeled over from it all.
YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!
LAURIE B
I almost ruined a relationship with a great person because I don’t think I feel emotions properly. Any of them.
I love my dog, though.
Nothing quite like a cat butt in your face.
Hi, I’m loving the Marvel movies, and I’m not liking the summer cuz I don’t like sunlight. But I love my pet birds and I love your books. 😊
Test comment!
I’m loving that my two year old still rambles in about the 4th of July parade every night when I ask him how his day was “I saw fire truck! I ate gummy bears! I saw horsey!” Makes me wonder how he experiences time and sort of makes me want to be him.
I love you.
Was that creepy? I didn’t mean it creepy. Anywho, I also love the three more weeks I have to sit on my couch and do nothing.
I’m glad it’s Friday, but I’m bummed because our Blockbuster is closing. I’m in Fairbanks, Alaska, and wandering through the stacks of movies was so much more fun than scrolling through whatever an algorithm thinks I might want to see. But hey, Friday!
It’s 5:22 CST and I’ve spent an hour lost in the corporate office of the major retailer I work for. (Bad grammar, but I’m not changing it.) I’m hot and trying not to have an asthma attack and I’m currently resting before I try to find the exit again. But I haven’t passed out (yet) and I haven’t cried (yet) and I think the exit is close now. All these are wins in my rheumatoid arthritis book. Glad you’re feeling better.
Its Saturday morning, and my builder still hasn’t finished the fire hearth I need completed TODAY so that my new wood heater can be installed on Tuesday. I’ve already delayed the install by a month to give him extra time…. on the plus side, its Saturday!!!!
Wow, I’m tired from scrolling through comments. It must be fixed.
I’m so happy you are feeling good…gooder?
I’m posting to help you test – because I love having you as an imaginary friend 🙂
Fun fact: a beaver’s butt smells like vanilla.
Something I love right now…. many things. But I’ll mention you & your books. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read them. Not because I have the same struggles (I don’t) but I find them soothing. And not just because you make me laugh 🙂 So many times I’ve been reading myself to sleep and my last thought is “I feel guilty. Reading about Jenny suffering from insomnia and….zzzzz.”
Friday evening 6:30ish and I’ve never had a problem commenting.
Testing 1, 2, 3…. Can you read me now?
I am soooooo very excited about your upcoming trip to Europe. Seriously happy dancing for you!
I love that I bought 33 hardcover books from the local library sale today for $10. My to-read pile is now three stacks of books, each at least 3 feet high.
No problem
Your smile is incredible!
Hi Jenny- lots of thanks to you for being you!
Something awesome that I love: the Bloggess. <3 Also CBD oil for my kid’s seizures. And chili-cheese tater tots from Sonic.
BTW – leaving the fake email address totally worked! Yasssss!
My students and their fabulous teachers & paras – I’m truly blessed with lovely good things in my job every single day!
My toddler skipped into her day care room and didn’t cry or cling to me – for the first time ever. I was so surprised, I forgot to leave her bag in her cubby.
Hello. I love your writing 🙂
My toddler skipped into her day care room and didn’t cry or cling to me – for the first time ever. I was so surprised, I forgot to leave her bag in her cubby.
I am leaving you a comment on my Chrome windows browser to let you know that today I love my physical therapist…but not in a creepy way.
Happy Friday the 13th everyone!
I love that today I can walk almost pain-free for the first time in well over a month. Maybe going on two months! YEAH for almost pain-free!
BTW, I have to log into my WordPress account to actually comment.
Helping the testing process.
Hi.
I’m re-reading Outlander, since it first came out, and I’m loving it all over again!!
You’re awesome! Thanks for sharing your life with us😁
This is a test. Right now I love the fact that I managed to get all of the computers in my theatre’s control room updated and working.
Have a great day and be well!
Hello, I have a feminist cat with a hyphenated last name. Also, I can comment. It works!
I am so grateful for you and this community of amazing people! Thank you for sharing with us along your journey and for being candid about all the ups and downs so we can all feel accepted and less defective. 🌞
I’m so happy that you are feeling better.
Hi from Vancouver!
I love that you are starting to feel better. I think about you a lot, also not in a creepy way. <3 from Oklahoma.
Testicles, testicles, 1 2 3..
‘er, I mean….. testing, testing 1 2 3 😁
I love my furry co-workers, too! And flowers.
I can comment!! Yay! Right now my favorite thing is listening to Hamilton soundtrack or Ed Sheeran live in Dblin.
Testicles, testicles, 1 2 3..
‘er, I mean….. testing, testing 1 2 3 😁
I have a cat snoozing on my lap as I type this.
Jenny, I read your blog but rarely leave a comment. Here goes!
Testing, in Chrome browser.
Looking forward to a weekend of sunshine in Vancouver, Canada. Planning on going for a swim tonight and a bike ride tomorrow, so that should earn me some couch time to watch my new fave show on Netflix, Good Girls!
It’s Friday afternoon in Austin, I have come home and taken off my clothes (because I hate wearing clothes) and poured a cocktail (a Manhattan). I am leaving a comment after logging in through WordPress because I happen to have a WordPress account.
I think we found our new home!
Beautiful evening here in Ontario! Just got another chapter of my new novel finished, so it’s wine time!
✌️
Late to the party (as usual), but bringing more refreshments! 😉 Imagine the keyboard thing with a 75-pound dog instead of Ferris.
Testing testing is this thing on tap tap tap.
My comment showed up immediately, well done Jenny!
Hey, Jenny! I am so glad to hear you are feeling better and I hope all is well with this site also. I am leaving my comment as requested because I am that kind of person. 🙂
I love that you can still find things to love, and I love the hope it gives me.
While it’s only Friday here it’s already the weekend & I’ve been loving having the day off 🙂
Your furry coworkers are awesome, particularly the “here’s my butt for your FACE” one. HELPING!!
I’m sad because it’s my last day of vacation at a beach house and my daughter’s 19th birthday and she doesn’t feel like it’s been a very fun birthday day. But I’m happy that once I’m home I’ll get to see my kitten and sleep in my own bed.
Commenting as instructed!
I’m loving how great my friends are! And also your blog, of course 🙂
I am L❤️VING that you are feeling better!
Right now love that TMS is working for you, for selfish and unselfish reasons.
I leave for San Diego on Sunday. I have packed a camera, my shampoo, my e-reader, a pair of socks, and a headlamp. That should cover me for 4 days, right? I am bad at packing.
Cat-butt-in-face makes me homesick for cats.
Hello! Helping test the comment thingy
I thought it said if you need something to comment you can tell me you love me. I figured out my mistake but also it seems sound the way I originally read it. 🙂 So…love you! Love your humor and following your journey through life. Have a good day!
Not in great place right now, biut willing to help out by commenting 🙂
Hi there.
Glad you’re beginning to feel more yourself. 💕
Love ya bunches!
I’m posting!
Jenny my cousin has the two books you signed for me. Know that although I do love my cousin very very much I am watching her very very carefully to make sure I get them back. I loved meeting you and you are awesome.
Mark
Hello, I think it is awesome that I have woken up after every nap today. I’m still here and still breathing and enjoying reading and my dog snoring in my lap, life is good.
It’s Friday the 13th in hawaii and the sun is shining and hilarious wonderful Britons are trolling Trump … woo hoo
I am attempting to leave a comment. So, I love your cats. My own cat is being a pill. And I’m about to make myself a margarita.
I am enjoying the new season of the Great British Baking Show on PBS.
I’m loving that my sinus infection and infected tooth are both getting better. So far no tooth pain today! That’s something to celebrate.
Alrighty, trying this posting thing!
I fell down the rabbit hole of Amazon Prime video and discovered a movie called Space Boobs In Space and now I have to go watch it.
Comment achieved.
Trying this posting thing….
Things I’m loving? The fact that you are feeling better and your smile is wonderful! And the fact that you are writing new books! And the fact that cats are the best things ever.
My kids are having a sleepover. They’re not doing the sleeping part but I’m hearing some pretty sweet sounds.
Outside a cat, a book is women’s best friend. Inside the cat it’s to dark to read. (Gross I know, but it’s also a truth!)
Tomorrow I have to drive to Hell Paso. But when I get there my awesome sister and nieces will be there, so it will be worth it.
Testing, testing, 1 2 3

And the weekend starts early!
Hello Jenny
I don’t comment very often, so I wouldn’t have noticed there were problems. Right now I am positively obsessed with the song ‘This Is Me’ from “The Greatest Showman”! Makes me tear up every time! I adore it!
Hi! I am happy for my kids. And chocolate. YES IN THAT ORDER
Hi beautiful! I love your real, vulnerable, hilarious self. Keep being awesome.
Testing, again…
I’m happy for my pets and for getting 8 hours of sleep without a nightmare today.
I love coffee.
Love you!
I’m loving having a floor in my house. A floor you can see, that is… lol
I am really excited about How to train your dragon 3, it might be childish but animation is one of the things that make me feel something
It’s Friday, and I’m about to go drink wine and eat pizza with people I don’t know. The introverted me is aghast. But, I know it’s a good thing.
Love your blog!
Today I’m loving caffeine thanks to a 4 month old that likes to party at about 3am
I love the fact that I am getting traffic now to my blog at pamelajessen.com where I write about Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue and Invisible Illness. Today, I wrote about being Quanked. 🙂
Happy Friday! My daughter, who we call Princess Glorious, came home from several months in New Zealand so I’ll be hanging out with her for the next month until she has to start globetrotting again. I’m really happy, right now!
I hope this works! If not, it’s probably my phone’s problem as it’s possessed!
I’m here!. Pick me, pick me!! I’m happy cuz I get to see my bro and sis next week. Until then, someone notice me! I’m cute and not to rabid.
Testing testing. I’m happy these is put here in Wellington, New Zealand 🙂
That’s TOO rabid. Typos are my favorite activity.
This is my comment. You’re awesome and I love reading your books. You help me feel normal. Also cats are amazing.
Hello, love! This is my comment!
I am loving that I just got back from a ten-day road trip with my 13-year-old son, where we saw some amazing national parks and monuments and we still like each other!
Testing the comments! Hooray for Friday and chicken soup for dinner. 🙂
Testing testing. I’m happy to see the sun out here in Wellington, New Zealand 🙂
I have two job interviews next week! Yay!
Hi Jenny,
Books are good. Okay that’s my test phrase.
Joyce
I love sharing junk food preferences with my kids so they think I’m being really generous and awesome when I order pizza for dinner unexpectedly but really I just want an excuse to eat pizza.
Jenny, I’m just so happy you’re feeling better. All love and light to you! You make the world brighter, more fun and a little creepy, but in a great way. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m celebrating that I got a check from a class actin lawsuit yesterday. It was for being overcharged for my colonoscopy four years. ago. I’m thinking that this time I could be a pain in the doctor’s rear…. Karma.
Hi! I left a comment but I don’t see it. I’m on my android mobile on chrome. I’m unable to add my name or email address.
Wow; this isn’t the best day to ask me what I think is awesome. My depression seems to be filibustering all the positive voices in my head. But there are definitely things I love, things that I at least know should make me happy even if they don’t right now: my kids, great books, this blog, the beautiful new fountain pen inks that I got in the mail, the peaches on our tree (if the damn squirrels don’t eat them all).

I love the new town I moved to and love my new job.
We just got a new cat from the pound, he is 5, is totally white (I was worried for a bit about how to keep it clean like it was a couch) and he has one blue eye, and one green eye. His name is Ghost.
Jenny,
I don’t know if this will get to you. I’ve tried to leave a message on the blog, and WordPress won’t let me. If this does go through, I’ll send you the information WP keeps throwing at me.
Ruth
Hello! It’s kinda weird because I can see the words ‘name’, ’emails’, and ‘website’ but can’t fill any of that info in. Wil screenshot of that helps!
Can I actually post here without logging into an account!? Woot!!!
I just bought a house in Massachusetts and after living in Phoenix for 10 years I wasn’t sure if I would love it here but I do so much! Hope you visit Boston sometime on a tour!
Hi Jenny. Stuff that I love right now, my trivia friends, my new glasses, French wine(yummy) Also Mary’s Milk Bar in Edinburgh(below the castle) for her awesome gelato. Hey I get a plug in for her where and when I can. 😀
It’s Friday the 13th! Good luck all ‘ round
Greetings from hot, dry southwest Kansas!
Hello! I’m not sure if inn commenting or replying to a comment…but here it is!
I saw this and I am making a comment and I had a Hotess cupcake and had flashbacks to junior high lunches.
HI Jenny. Glad you’re feeling better. My awesome thins I new tattoo I got a little over a week ago. I was supposed to get it last October, but back then Northern California where I live was on fire and it didn’t seem like the right time. But I have it now and it’s beautiful.
Long time lurker. Thank you for showing me that it’s okay to be open and honest about my depression AND for your books that I bought for the hilarity and kept for the sincerity
I “worked from home” 3 days this week. So I got paid t cuddle with my cat mast of the week.
Something I lobe right now…the wave of 30-40% humidity wave that hit my dry desert climate has ended. I’m sitting in my favorite spot, with the swamp cooler actually cooling the house!! For the first time in days it’s comfortable again 🤗. Yes, I know, for the rest of the world and my barometer 30-40% humidity is classified as dry. For me, anything over 20% is like being cast into hades.
brown bunnies go boing 🐇
It’s my 35th birthday!!!
First comment from me! Love your blog, love the comments, live simple tests that I can do without the fear of failing 🙂
Right now I love hope. I have hope for the first time in years and damn… it’s just such a good feeling t have.
If you haven’t seen Transylvania 1 and 2, do you think we can enjoy Transylvania 3?
I love the place where I live. While much of North America now is (too) hot, this place is in the mid-60s. Plus, it is beautiful: trees, mountains, rivers, and ocean!
Lovin my new dog Ellie.
Is the grass green again because it rained, or because you’re feeling better and finally noticing green grass?? Either way, HORRAY For green grass!! And HORRAY thing are finally looking up for you!
It’s Friday the 13th! I love it because I’m a contrarian.
I’m losing my hair due to chemo, so I shaved it all off – and lickily, I have a really nicely-shaped head!
Testing … Cats make me smile
My comment is that I luv u and am so glad u r feeling better!
Hello. I am loving cuddles with my kitty right now. 😻
A close friend of mine told me that I am her friend who she loves when I was (irrationally) worrying about bothering her, which totally made my day.
Hi Jenny,
Gotta tell you how thrilled I am that a fabulous thirteen year old boy recommended your books to me. I work in a school library, and whilst I am not sure if I am brave enough to put them on our shelves, I am enthusiastically passing them on to all my friends. (I was home sick and got stink eye from my dog, because you made me laugh out loud and I woke her up ) Thank you for your honesty about life.
The most awesome part of my day is celebrating my daughter Aimee’s birthday. And being with my dad and my other daughter Kaillan.
Test. Testy. Testes. Works!
Working for me on an iPad with Safari. My happy thing is that I’m with 3 grandchildren, ages 3, 5, and 7. We are watching a fun movie.
Summer breezes
Nice to see you feeling so well. Good luck with your continuing treatment.
I’ve never had any trouble!
Happy Things: Cats, dog, silly Steampunk things, games, friends, favorite shows…
I had a gray stripe cat who also insist on sitting in my lap while I worked at the Computer. His name was Elvis. He was such a love bug.
Testing this for you and happy because I visited my 91 year old grandma today and she is working her tiny butt off in physical therapy and refusing all vegetables because who can tell a 91 year old to eat her vegetables?
Helping to test things
I am so happy you are feeling good today! I am loving the fact that my kids love the Princess Bride as much as I do. I am also loving that Big Brother is back on!
Furiously happy to test for you !

Jenny, so happy for you and your recent successes! Thanks for sharing it with us.
I’m loving strawberry shortcake ice cream bars on a hot day!
This comment thread is the awesomest awesome of all time. Thank you, Jenny, and everyone.
Step 1: I make a comment here to help out.
Step 2: I urge everyone to bake or buy a cake.
Step 3: You decorate the cakes to say “LET THEM EAT”
Step 4: We all eat LET THEM EAT CAKE tomorrow to celebrate Bastille Day. Cake is wonderful, so everyone wins.
Testing!
I love that summer is the season of fringe theater & comedy!
I actually made up a new email acct just to post on here because of the wordpress thing you mentioned, but for a long, long time I couldn’t post and just got tired of it. (For the record, I cursed WP and not you). Also, I love Glow and haven’t started this season just yet and what’s there to judge?Nothing, that’s what! It’s a great show, BE PROUD!
It’s hard to work with cat butt in your face! It’s so annoying yet so adorable too. There’s my comment. I hope it’s working now.
I’ve been meaning to check into Glow. I also want to watch Younger. When I get around to it.
Thanks for being. You’ve helped me to understand that I have a right to be.
Hello!!
I LOVE CATS! #MEOW
Is GLOW about the wrestlers?? I’ve heard from others that they enjoy it!
I am currently living the song “such a loser” by the comedy band, Garfunkel and Oates. It helped pull me out of a dark place after a major failure. I think you would like it.
I ❤️U
Testing, testing, one-two-three…Is this thing on?
Totally loving hanging out with my daughter and son in law today!
Jenny – right now I’m loving it being summer, sunny, holidays and the weekend so my husband is home.
One more week until we are on holiday together and heading for Europe
So glad you are feeling better
Muff
I’m commenting and choosing to believe that whatever was causing your comment difficulty is why no one ever comments on my blog. I mean it’s actually probably because no one reads it? But I’m substituting my own reality. My reality is cozier anyway.
I am currently enjoying Queer Eye on Netflix.
Today my son and I cleaned off our kitchen table, Maybe we’ll eat at the table this weekend, after we clean off the chairs of course.
I’m loving my new 15lb weighted blanket!
Judging by the number of responses, it seems all is well. Have a great weekend!
I love my dog but not my cat, she’s shifty
I’m happy my student loan was approved, and I get to go to college (again) in September!
The again is a new career choice, not me trying the same thing over and over and over.
Hi! making Alton Brown’s Dutch Baby for breakfast this morning made my day very bright! Hope your blog is ok.
Mary
I’m loving dogs, even though I’m usually a cat person. I’m reading Rain Reign, a dog appreciation book.
Took a while to get to the comment section. Now my Ambien is kicking making my thoughts mush.
I am happy and grateful for YOU and your wonderful clan of misfit followers, without whom life would be unbearably boring. Thank you. Love and hugs to all. xo

Hello from the Adirondacks!
My Friday the 13th started off with a strange encounter with an ATM machine, but got better after that incident.
I hope this works!
My kitty Mallaidh does that same uber-cuddling every day, three times a day. She starts two hours before mealtime* and she will NOT leave me alone — I have to not only pet her, but hold her as well — and she’s not happy to simply be on my lap at that time, I have to actually hold her like a loaf baby. Sometimes she cleans my head [my hair is shaved at the moment for medical reasons] or arm in reciprocation. It’s simultaneously adorable and super annoying.
*We have to keep her and our dog on a rigid feeding schedule because the dog vomits if his stomach is empty for too long — and because his stomach is empty all he’s vomiting up is foamy acid, YUM.
Since you’re having issues with the comments already please look into changing your comment section to threaded replies. As it is now I avoid reading the comments here because they’re too much for my ADD to handle, and then I miss out on a lot of fun stuff. Threaded replies are a million times easier to follow because you can see who is replying to whom, and IME people are more likely to engage each other. But, you know, I can’t/won’t tell you what to do. 😉
I had to disable one of my adblockers in order to post this; I got an error before doing that.
Weirdly, I had numbered my paragraphs, and that didn’t show up in my reply… ??
I’m glad you’re feeling better!
You’re awesome, Jenny, so I’m glad to help test. Thanks for being you, BTW!
I am currently loving my new puppy who has filled the hole in my life that I that was ‘normal’. Turns out, the hole isn’t normal and having something/someone love you unconditionally and be extremely excited when you come home or share a slice of cheese is a great therapy for it.
I love my people and I deeply appreciate you, Jenny.
I’m glad you’re feeling better!
That is a really pretty dress that you are wearing in the writing video.
Your blogs, posts & books make me smile! I am so happy that your new treatment is working!
I’m enjoying my last few days of sleeping in before I have to go back to work. It’s so lovely to laze about in the morning.
I’m committed to communication and commenting. How’s that? I’m sleepy. 😴😴😴😄😄😄
I have tried to comment in the past and nothing happened… Fingers crossed this time!
Hi, Jenny. Testing.
I am loving a cool sweet crenshaw melon!
Hello from beautiful downtown Poolville
Love your blog and I just started watching Glow last week. Funny stuff!
Test comment for testing! I’m loving crocheting!
Hmmm, testing a second time, I see no first comment?
I love that your blog makes me cry with joy. Oh, and laugh out loud too. I’m so happy that you’re feeling better!
And I’m furiously happy that the mystery condition that wanted to kill me in January has totally failed, and that I’m stronger than ever.
I love you Jenny!! You are awesome, don’t let anyone tell you different!!
I love Fridays.
My daughters diaper needs to be changed but I’m taking a moment to comment to you before because who wants to deal with a shitty diaper amirite?
I am currently in my favorite place on earth (the outer banks in North Carolina) with my little brother who I haven’t seen in several months. I am so happy right now 🙂
Speaking of weird body problems… I went on a cruise 2 years ago and discovered that there’s such a thing as LAND sickness. I wasn’t sick once on the cruise, even when the ship passed through a freaking tropical depression, but after I got back to Austin the land didn’t stop rocking for FOUR DAYS. I googled it, and yep, post-cruise vertigo is a thing. I hoped it was a fluke, but we just took a 3-hour fireworks cruise and when we got back to the hotel, the shower wouldn’t stop moving.
Thanks for the tip about the email address. This is why I’ve never commented
Hi, Jenny. What’s awesome right now is the Bride of Frankenstein and the mad Colin Clive!
Happy to help (I hope)!
Texas expat saying “Howdy!” From Arizona. I’m loving that the monsoon season has started.
It’s my birthday and I’m really glad that of all the possible universes to land in, mine has Jenny Lawson!
I just got a signed copy of a print the artist/author Jonathan Santlofer did of the late, great Anthony Bourdain, and I am swooning all over the place.
The cats are making me do this! (Just kidding, the dogs are the brains behind all the shenanigans in this household!)
I am having a great day. My sister and I are hanging out together!
I’m just excited that tomorrow is Saturday and I don’t have to set an alarm… although my daughter will probably be up at the buttcrack of dawn… but that’s okay! Because SATURDAYYYYY!!!! And btw, I’m so glad you’re seeing positive results from your treatments! Yay!
Wow, I need to find a better way to scroll down. That took forever…
Cats are always so helpful, aren’t they?
Hi, hello, how are ya?
This is a test! Also, I’m going to Florida Supercon tomorrow so I’m totally happy about that!
I’m happy because after Sunday I get to eat CARBS again! Chicago style pizza, I’m coming for you!
I am commenting on your blog.
Right now I am loving the new Florence and the Machine album!
I’m loving Detectoristts on Netflix right now.
Your furry coworkers are one of my favorite things on your blog. Which is admittedly not a small category, but KITTIES!
I’m happy it’s finally the weekend & TMS seems to be helping you and 4of our new 6 pts so far!(I’m still hoping it will help the others too!)
I’m also attempting to type without wearing my glasses…
I am currently obsessed with Amanda Palmer. I think you need this song in your life:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwDh4FnyH4Y <3 u Jenny!
Right now I’m love no that I can leave a comment without any trouble. I get to your blog through your Facebook link.
Comment via WordPress.com account.
The pursuit of zappyness!
Had a fabulous vacation with my family 😊
I don’t know what to comment. It’s the worst comment in the history of comments.
Thank you for being you, Jenny!
I can leave a comment, but it’s a secret about cats and I think your computer was hacked. By cats.
You do you. Looking forward to happy Jenny humor. <3
testing testing 1-2-3.
I love your furry boss and that you are feeling better.
The tattoo I got today. It says, in Hebrew, “this too shall pass”. Its been my mantra since my daughter was a teenager. She’s almost 23 now and we’re friends.
Hi Jenny great that you continue to feel good!
Something I love… two books by my favorite musician, Alan Doyle. You don’t need to know who he is or like his music (not sure why you wouldn’t though). He’s a wonderful, engaging and FUNNY storyteller so the audiobook versions are just another level of awesome. Find his books on his website http://alandoyle.ca/store/, or wherever you love to buy books. Where I Belong and A Newfoundlander in Canada.
Also check out A Dollar A Day foundation to help mental health and addictions charities.
Testing, testing, 1,2,3…..using Chrome.
You are awesome. I’m happy to comm
ent to help you out.
I wish someone could have taken a video of me trying to watch you trying to work with Ferris interrupting. My cat Garrus kept doing the same thing. I watched your video while peering under his belly & over his back as he walked back and forth over my laptop. Now Maya has joined in while I attempt to write this.
A regular person would probably move the cats instead of trying to work around them.
Oh well. They make me happy.
I’m glad you are feeling better.
Hello! I’m visiting an out of town friend which always gives me a lot of anxiety to be away from home. But I did it!
loving your blog as always, and super happy for Sandra Oh to get an Emmy nomination for Killing Eve, which was so, so great.
Glad I could fast scroll to the bottom because lots of comments.
Glad the treatment seems to be working for you.
Canada. Hot today at 29 degrees C. Thanks, Trump. Everything is your fault.
My son is four and wants to get a cat but I have nowhere to put the litter box and I’m pretty sure I’ll be the one that has to empty it anyway. We have two dogs, a four year old, and an 8 month old so getting a cat is crazy right?
Started binge- watching Meastro in the Jungle recommended by my daughter.
I see those big chickens sometime soon in Homegoods and laugh aloud thinking of you!
You are an inspiration!
Love those feline assistants – they’ve got everything under control! Also, I just read “The Woman in the Window,” which I think you recommended awhile back, and loved it! Great story, good writing, excellent depiction of agoraphobia. Will this comment go through? I’m using the Opera browser… let’s see what happens!
Hey Jenny. You’re awesomesauce. That’s all.
Oh, and something I love right now? That I now have a safe outlet for my snarkiness and my creativity in my very own Zazzle shop!! (Not that I could ever compete with the genius that is your shop, but one can make a feeble effort, of course!)
http://www.zazzle.com/currieous
I love that I got new running shoes today and I’m going to see if regular exercise helps my brain be not so crazy!
never had a problem commenting. Use firefox, don’t use wordpress.
My cat is trying to lie on the keyboard, and comments still work
This is my second attempt at a comment because I couldn’t see the first one about my new running shoes. Last time I posted I tried to do it anonymously, this time I’m putting in my email and name. Using Chrome on a macbook.
I haven’t watched Glow yet, but I listen to Welcome to Night Vale. All hail the Glow Cloud.
I love my dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. My current favorite show is Lucifer, which was picked up by Netflix for season 4.
I’m nearly out of spoons.
I’m so proud of my daughter for being brave enough to write articles about her anxiety.
https://www.bustle.com/p/my-anxiety-is-now-my-only-connection-to-my-father-9025783
So this is IE11 on Windows 10, probably worst case scenario for the web (that is still supported)… so if you can see this, then you’re totally fine. Also, I like GLOW, too. Please reciprocate not judging me.
For dinner i had a cupcake and beer in the bath tub.
Hi, would you please change my email address to sylviagrey@iinet.net.au
I cannot see how to do it at manage subscriptions.
Kind regards, Sylvia.
I am so hayyour feeling more nial and are going to Europe with your family!
The show “Lucifer”. Yes, I’ve read the original graphic novels it was based on (really, how can you go wrong with Neil Gaiman?), and I know that it varies a bit, but I understand the reality of WHY they had to vary the story. Lucifer’s basic personality isn’t changed though, and Tom Ellis does a FANTASTIC job of portraying him, even to the flaws he denies he has, and I’m SO glad Netflix picked it up after Fox (which has a terrible track record at this; remember “Firefly”?) made the stupid mistake of canceling it. I know it was stupid because the fans screamed so loudly and in such numbers that Netflix decided to grab it. So check out the show if you haven’t yet, and if you have the time, the graphic novels (titled, simply, “Lucifer”) are really good too. It’s that rare combo where both the origin material and the adaptation, while being quite different, are each excellent. And if you need another recommendation, one of the fans screaming was Neil Gaiman himself.
I had sushi for dinner and successfully trimmed the claws on one of my cat’s feet. Fingers crossed the others go as well.
Well, Jenny, my comment got through just fine, and I’ve never had difficulty in the past. So I can’t help you figure out what’s up. Sorry.
I am reading my third book for the day. They’re all great!
I’m just commenting to find out if I’m one of the scary crazy people. If you’re reading this it means I passed!
You’re magic. Thanx for sharing the love!
I love that I get to see my friends tomorrow.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are feeling better. I am happy for you that your treatments seem to be working and hope and pray that they continue to do so. You deserve to feel well.
There are current 6 dogs in my house! 2 of which want to eat my cats which is super not cool but on the upside the cats are black cats and they are putting a voodoo Friday the 13th curse on those 2 haters! I love my 2 English Mastiffs who are over 300 lbs of peace, love and understanding!
I’m happy that your insurance came to their senses.
I’m happy that YOU are happy.
It’s nice seeing positive comments.
I just read your first book — hilarious! I had woken up in the middle of the night and was reading in bed, trying to be a nice person and not wake up my husband, but I was shaking the whole bed when I couldn’t help but silently laugh. 🙂
Testing – I also want to know if I’m one of the 2 crazies who are blocked.
I am currently actually on a real vacation. Started it by getting almost no sleep for a full day due to flight delays, but it is still a vacation. Ten full days without going to my dumb job with dumb co-workers…who could ask for anything more?
Miss ya!!
I’m in Texas, it’s F’ING hot….please make it stop.
Glad you’re feeling up to tackling your comments – hopefully this works! Thank you for all the laughs and honesty. It truly makes such a difference.
I love the videos of your coworkers! 🤣 They’re so helpful.
I love that I got out of the house today to visit with a friend who can’t get out much because of an injury. Also, it’s 100 degrees and a red ozone day and I didn’t have any trouble breathing. And the best thing is that I got B&J’s chocolate fudge brownie for later tonight!
My great grandmother (a Yugoslavian immigrant) and I used to watch the GLOW ladies wrestle during the mid 1970’s with such joy and enthusiasm. She was so into it! I have really enjoyed watching the new show and thinking of her. She sure hated the old Family Feud host (Dawson) – ‘The Kisser’ she would call him with such disgust. It is interesting to witness the pieces of our culture as they travel through the generations!
That’s not how you wash a window silly cat!
Hi Jenny. I’m loving that my friends came through for me on a particularly scary day, showing me that I’m important to them, even though my brain tells me I’m not.
I’m loving GLOW right now, too! And my trio of terrier as I call my doggies;)
Hi Jenny! Something I’m loving right now is Angela Carter’s The Bloody Chamber. I love retellings of classic fairy tales and legends!
I also have incredibly helpful furry coworkers who feel that they are not fulfilling their duty if they are not all up in my business when I’m on the computer!
Something awesome that I love right now: my kitten whose name is the fucking Catalina wine Mixer
Jenny, always happy to see you! A trying week, but gym sweating and lifting and massive korean chicken wings and giant 22 oz glasses of beer make things better, and make my lovely wife happy. And I wish you a happy weekend, too.
Testing… Testing…123
Ok, so I’m going to enter a test comment and tell you something fantastic at the same time. I hit you up on Twitter in January last year to ask your advice on how you face being a mom and having mental illness at the same time. Just wanted to let you know, although the process literally almost killed me (thank you AFE, which I had never ever even heard of before, but seriously thanks to the amazing medical staff who pulled me through), our daughter will be 4 months old on Monday. I’m still recovering, but I’m in really good shape all things considered, and the baby is perfectly fine. They say it’s 2 years to a full recovery, but at this point I’m just relieved and excited that full recovery is even something we’re talking about! And hey, it makes for a killer story to tell! (https://twitter.com/Raj_mow/status/1016458307039399937 is my recent attempt at getting the story written out)
Why is my 4 year old still awake at 10pm??
I’m a little crazy, but I hope very moderate. I love watching the birds in the evenings as they fly from branch to branch gathering more food before night falls.
I had tremendous help from God today. That is awesome. The situation seemed untenable and maybe i’d get in deep doodoo trouble. But it worked out alright. My crazy has calmed down.
I love that I am #945, at least at the moment, could change while I write. The point is that it is a whole lo t of love coming your way. Also I am loving You Are Here. Thanks for sharing your awesome artwork….and thoughts!
Whenever I’m having a tough day, I turn on one of your audio books and laugh a little and remember that I’m not alone. Thanks for that!
You are the only author my super stressy, uptight husband & I both read. I told him a million times he could benefit from your books. But of course he didn’t listen. A year later, he’s all, ‘You should read this book I got! You’d love it. The authors crazy, but the good kind, like you!’ Every time he compares me to you, I blush & do that draw-circles-in-the-dirt-with-my-toe-thing. ‘Awe. Tell me more about how I’m awesomely delightful, like Jenny….’
I just moved to the south this week and almost melting is not helping my mental health!
I’m loving binging The Office on Netflix while on vacation.
Your posts make me laugh, cry, and hope. I often urge my friends to read what you’ve written. I’m so glad your treatments are helping you!
I looooove the video of your cat’s butt, as he’s trying soooo hard to get your attention from the infernal keyboard device.
I love sunny days and lightning storms at night during the summer
I’m currently re-watching West Wing for the 3rd time.
You are awesome and I love you now and always.
Dorothy
Interesting, because I just this week closed my wordpress blog. So I’m interested to see if that will make a difference.
Right now I love being newly married and making sushi bowls!
I love that you’re feeling better!
And chocolate…
P.S. It worked fine. Yay!
I’m really loving Schitts Creek and Buffy The Vampire Slayer right now 🙂
My ginger kitty has walked up and kised my hands every time I have sat down today.
Google Chrome. No prob.
I’m thankful for the round of Canasta I played with my grandmother today. She’s still here and I had time to go, so that was awesome.
Hi from Oregon! I am loving the beautiful weather and my family!
love that my new pain medication seems to be working much better than the old one! Ridiculously expensive due to new pain med laws but I can suck it up for now
Friday the 13th has been awful, tbh, but I’m loving re-watching “Grand Designs” on Netflix.
Hello!
I’m currently loving hanging out with my AC while I marathon Schitt’s Creek.
I love that it’s Friday!
Hello!
Hi Jenny,
I have a tattoo that I really love of fireweed and a hummingbird
Banana ummmm nom nom
I just had the same problem on my blog, but my most dedicated fan/mentor flipped out and told me IMMEDIATELY on facebook, and waited patiently while I figured out how to fix it. I still don’t know what happened but I assume I did it to myself, pushing things that should not be pushed, because that’s what I do. You really can’t take me anywhere 😀
Something I’m enjoying? Well, then this is probably the best place to share that I gave myself a haircut earlier today, and was once more reminded of how incredibly cute I look with my hair this short.
I love your beautiful smile in the publisher picture, thank you for always being real.
I only partially read directions, so I think this is what i am supposed to do.
Hi Jenny!
I love my new mini fridge, The Belgariad series, and the sountrack to all 5 Twilight movies.
I also love you and your books 🙂
Enjoying a weekend with the kids and grandkids.
Holy crap! Took me 10 minutes to scroll down here to leave a comment so this sucker better go through!
I’m loving that this lousy day is over, and tomorrow will be better.
Right now, I am still loving the donut that I posted on IG/FB, today. I don’t eat many donuts, these days, and when I do, I go all out.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BlMHvP_nFdV/?taken-by=knitswithpenguins
I also love that I am the 983rd comment. 😀
Jenny, it never lets me comment IF I am signed in to WordPress or put an email address in the first field. It just pretends to let me, but eats the comment. If I only put a name, it’s good to go. Always been like that for me.
I’m in the late stages of divorce (a good thing, no sad faces), and just started online dating. I sort of asked the universe for someone like my high school sweetheart, and it totally delivered. Unfortunately he was only in town on business and flew back home today (this is where the sad faces go).
Hey from york , PA! those of you in the Midwest your heat is headed for me and if you’re having rain please send that as well, as we can’t buy a raindrop on the East Coast right now. I watched glow in the 80s as a kid and thought it was hysterical. I’m not a cat owner I have a 10-year-old Alaskan malamute with an attitude. I’m not really even a cat lover, until I meet someone’s cat and then I’m their cat lover i’m so proud of you Jenny, for your strength and perseverance. You are such a strong woman although I am sure most of the time you’re broken brain tries to tell you otherwise, but it’s true! You are strong and special and important and gorgeous. What am I loving right now? Listening to bad ass music like Rx by theory of a dead man, crazy by gnarled Barkley, believer by Imagine Dragons, no excuses by Meghan Trainor, and every radio stations flashback Friday from the 80s and 90s. I’m loving that my husband is currently flying home from Seattle And is bringing me beer and swag from Elysian brewing. He travels 70% of the year for business and often goes to Dallas when I can’t. If I ever get the luxury I’m going to look you up, just sayin’. i’m loving preparing to move to a new beautiful home and preparing my two girls ages 7 and 10 for their new schools. They will have so many more opportunities and academic advantages, so even they are pretty excited. I’m loving my police officer friends who still value their jobs with integrity. And lastly, I’m thankful that you and men and women who relate directly to your struggles can share their lives with the world and help the rest of us keep our own lives in perspective. I absolutely love reading your posts and feel as if I’ve known you forever. My love to you tonight beautiful!
I’ve commented on most of your recent posts with no issue. I wonder if that’s just because I’m perma-logged-in to my WordPress account? Let’s see, something awesome that I love right now… Strangely enough, editing. I’m actually doing really really good with my editing goal for the month, and while it hasn’t yet morphed into actually writing new things I do think I’m getting a better feel for where the story is going. Also, writing a kid getting her first puppy is just way too much fun.
This is heather26r, just testing to see if I can post without issue if I’m not logged in.
Happy that work is over for the week. It was tough!
Glad things are looking up for you!
I think the most awesome thing right now is that YOU are feeling better and that I had to scroll sooo far to leave a comment because you have so many fans!! So glad our magical, mystical leader is feeling more right in the noggin….it gives the rest of us hope!
Leaving a comment !!
Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya.
Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!
Except for it saying Inigo Montoya twice, I see it fine! You fixed it!
It’s finally cool enough that I’m not sitting here in a pool of sweat. Haven’t been loving a life with VMS and high temps/humidity for the last week.
Holy tons of comments, Batman!!
I have had trouble posting in the past. The name, email, etc, boxes would dissappear after I wrote in the text box. This could have been my stupid, way old phone. Although it seems to be acting weird now… those boxes are now in the text box along with my comment. I screenshoted it and will send you a pic. Let’s see if this will even post…
I love new GLOW too. I’m happy about my foster kittens who I named Dorothy, Rose and Blanche. They go back to the shelter tues and I will be sad, but excited they will find their forever family!
Take 2? 🙁 am I one of the lost?
Wow! It did work and it even had my name in there even though I couldn’t type it in the box. Magic!! My Friday the 13th luck!!
By the way, my happy thing today is having a functional temperature gauge in our ’87 Bronco! Super exciting stuff here!! 🙂
Here
I’m really just here to comment to make sure I’m not the bad kind of crazy!
I love a whole batch of Scottish insults I just read online. They are colorful, original, and so descriptive!
Absolutely loved your book “Furiously Happy”!!!
Your videos/words have helped me so much over the last few weeks as I fight a nasty episode of depresssion and go thru ECT treatments. Thank you.
I may be in the cool crowd. I had to log in to WordPress to post this time, which I never had to do before. But you’re worth it.
I’m so glad to see you feeling good!
Loving being on my couch with my feet up.
My very crazy kids and my even crazier cats. And my normal husband. But also he’s annoying being normal like that.
Hey Friend:). Good news… I didn’t pass out despite getting dizzy from scrolling down so fast to post this, and, a snake didn’t fall from the roof or tree as I mowed, which is exactly,God’s honest truth, what happened to my friend today😉. Yo, we lucky❣👏👏👏👏🌷
Hello, may I tell you a bit about Critical Role, It is awesome!
my 2 year old daughter Ruby makes me so happy. Tonight she thanked God for her watermelon 3 times. (She didn’t have watermelon today.)
Heyyyy I’m using chrome on my Android phone to leave this comment and tell you that right now campfires are my favorite thing. But maybe that just because I can’t seem to get video to play out here in the woods haha!
Just got home from stressful “vacation” time. I survived, and I love my space!
Leaving a test comment. I’m loving that my dog is doing a little better this week.
Testing my ability to comment (and no judgement – I have been enjoying GLOW too!).
Just finished binge-watching The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu. If you haven’t used yours yet, get the free trial and then say goodbye to about eighteen hours of your life. You’re welcome.
I have loved your blog for years, happy to comment to help fix problems with it.
Hi Jenny. I loved Furiously Happy. I joined a 12 step program, but I suck at it because I can’t find my higher power. I met a fellow who told me that the world is an illusion, and it made a lot of sense, but it’s still not a magical deity who can grant wishes. I wish you success and peace in all you do, or at least really above average snacks. Thank you for speaking for the folks who sometimes are amazingly cool, but sometimes have trouble fitting into what sane is supposed to be.
I’ve been meaning to watch GLOW, I think I’m gonna binge it.
Lovely to see you smile again
It’s 11:59 pm cst. Testing.
Hi Jenny! Testing out comments for you! Hope you can see it! 🙂
I am also loving the latest season of GLOW although it also makes me mad. There’s just so many times I can listen to women being told that they’re not good enough before I have to take a break. (This is true of real life as well) I am loving the air conditioning most of all lately.
I got diagnosed with ADHD! I’m so glad to know how to get back on track and finish grad school, with the help of some new meds and skills!
So if you haven’t read them already go to Wil Wheaton’s twitter and read his retweet of Scottish insults. Hilarious.
It feels like nothing is awesome right now
Happy thought today!!! Had lunch with my man!!
Well,hello there!
I’m loving that the hideous green in the bathroom is getting painted over to a more neutral creamy colour. (Love you too, Jenny).
All right then, my comment posted but I couldn’t ‘like’ other posts.
I love that I have my car back and no longer need to drive a rental car!
You are awesome.
You are my second favourite author after Terry Pratchett.
I love coffee. And soft blankies on car rides because my husband keeps the air conditioner in the car on waaaaaay too high. And olives but only when my kids are home to eat the pimento out of the middles. And the word “noodle”.
Hi! I love my 5 week old son, and I love that he just let me sleep for 4 hours straight! I also love that you’re feeling better!! (Posting from my phone, all good here 🙂 )
Definitely that you’re feeling better!
I see a LOT of comments here, so I think it is working, but I wanted to help too!!
I love love love the fact that you are getting better. I hope it’ll stay like this. And I love that because of “Furiously Happy” (which helped me a lot) I got a superhero sweatshirt for my birthday from some wonderful people who know what I’m struggling with 🙂
I had that exact problem with wordpress. I accidentally clicked it one day and auto linked my gmail and now it owns my soul. So I comment with an alternate email which means I can’t link to my photo blog (where I incidentally give away free photos). WordPress is like a Victorian era whore that gives you syphilis so you can never share with anyone again.
I love that we have a new kitten named Ron Swanson. He is an asshole, but we live him.
It’s Fri the 13th but that’s okay, because my birthday is coming up! so it’s a lucky day. 😀
And I have decreed that the luck will spread – so your website will now be fixed. 😉
Hi, Jenny. Honeysuckle!
Yes what you’re talking about has happened to me many many many times! So let’s see what happens today!!
What am I loving? WATERCOLORS!! Just started trying to learn! Also love your courage and kindness Jenny!!
It WORKED!!
Hello from Atlanta.
My birthday was Monday! I’m traveling alone for the first time in my life in 11 days and I am both terrified and extremely excited about it 😀
Right now I am loving red wine and stinky French cheese! 😜
I am loving that I am back from my trip with my crazy oldest son and he didn’t kill us driving home.
Something awesome that I love right now is: That you are feeling better. I hope it continues. As I said on Twitter: I DID think “I wonder if this will remove the inspiration for her writing” and then I thought, “I still hope she gets well.” You have no obligation to suffer so you can produce art. It’s more important you can share Sundays with Hailey.
Hmm, I have always been able to comment before, but this time I did so and don’t see the result. I will try again.
Ha, way to make me look stupid, Internet. The first comment did not appear after I posted it, but after I posted a SECOND one, they BOTH appeared.
Gemma comment
I’m happy right now sitting on my couch with my cat & husband watching our backlog of “The Deadliest Catch” and reading & sharing your blog.
I love the cast of my new play right now!
Comments working for me. Am off to see the Viking ships this morning!
I love that you are brave enough to share your personal experiences with us. When I’m having a bad depression day, it helps me to feel a little less alone.
Hello from Napa, CA!
Hello (hopefully)! I hope you and everyone reading this is having a fantastic day! Currently loving my dog and Supernatural:)
I’ll be seeing a friend next week who I only usually see at Christmas these days, and the thought of that makes me furiously happy.
Hi Jenny! I’m so glad you’re feeling better, you really deserve this.
I love the new season of GLOW, too!
My first thought with the video of your reverse-break-in kitty was that the chair looked ever so much like a Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy – jealous!
You are looking WELL, lovely lady – keep going with the twitchy machine x
I’m loving that after saving and looking and stressing for the last year, we finally found a house and moved last week! We’ve moved in and are dealing with the craziness of that but I haven’t been this happy in a long time.
Hello, I haven’t had problems posting comments in the past but will give it a go now. My awesome has been decorating sugar skulls while watching Supernatural!
Testing a plain text comment…
Hey, I just finished publishing another book.
Now one where I link to my latest post…
Now one with a totally non-spammy link embedded in the text…

Damn, that’s a lot of books.
I’m happy because I just spent a whole week with my best friend before school starts.
Ferris Mewler is adorable!
Comment(s) working here!
I have never had a problem leaving a comment. Sometimes I try to reply to one and then wordpress wants the password which…I totally forgot. Right now I love my cat Freddy who thinks he is a dog and follows me everywhere – he’s sitting at my feet and is waiting to go out on the deck for a cat brush. I also love my cat Jake who knows he is a cat and acts very catlike and gives me love when HE wants it. also my husband who’s a super guy. And my friend Deanna who drives me TOTALLY crazy is coming to visit this week. All good things. My co worker Kim had a birthday which means ICE CREAM CAKE FOR BREAKFAST!
I am comment 1068, but it didn’t show up immediately, I have a WP account from long ago, so I ended up resetting my password, and now when I add this comment (1070?) it might have my nickname. Let’s see…
ALSO – new Anne Tyler book just came out – yes! And I can’t get to it yet because I’m in the middle of another good book so the new book is just waiting for me…love that. Have a great day!
Hi, Jenny! I am happy because I have my family, my health, a job and my zillion books to read. Have a furiously happy day. ♥️
I thought I’d send you a picture of my awesome bunny sitting in her very own castle but I don’t seem to be able to add a picture so you’ll just have to imagine her! x
Even though it’s the wee hours of the morning, there have been about four million comments in the time it took me to login via FB. I don’t think it’s a problem.

Hello Jenny,
Things I’m loving right now:
Being on holiday.
Spending time with my family and cats.
Queer Eye (bit enamoured with the fab 5).
Hearing good news from Camp Lawson.
Lots of love,
Rox
Something awesome I love right now is that you’re feeling better!!
Today I am LOVING the sunshine here in Southeast Texas! We have had nothing but rain for weeks!
Today I am loving the sunshine here in Southeast Texas! We have had rain for weeks! I’m so over it!
This is a comment. If you can read it – it posted. If not—well oops. I am using Chrome Browser on a Windows 7 machine -but I really prefer to use my Mac.
Hello. I had a job interview yesterday. I asked the lady which end of a mouse should be stuffed, and she still hired me. Or maybe she was desperate, because it is a non paying job. But, it gets me in the door.
Using my iPad. Today I guess it’s good that my morning anxiety was not as bad as yesterday?
I love my Sebastian the Sphynx 😹
Things that are going well: my adorable dog who is sleeping nearby, the job interview i recently had, that i get to spend today with friends dreaming about building a better future.
Glad to see that you are smiling!
My husband and I are celebrating our 28th anniversary today. And we binge-watched the second season of GLOW last weekend, so I’m not judging you at all! 🙂
I see the comments. And I have a silver tabby who does this, too. 😀
I also loved the second season of Glow!
Hi Jenny,
Posting a comment as requested. I must tell you that I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to your audiobooks. I don’t think anyone else could have done them justice. ❤️❤️❤️
No problem leaving a comment…and I am getting an education watching “Glow”
Today I found out that otters have pockets and they carry their favorite rocks in them. This is awesome and makes me happy!
Jenny, you are such an amazing person and I hope your current treatment continues to help!
I love that I am finally home after spending three months in Los Angeles for work.
Loving Mr. Rodgers right now. And you, of course! It is good to have reminders that good people can make a difference.
Seeing Moulin Rouge! The Musical today with my beautiful (inside and out) daughter in Boston.
#untilmydyingday
You’re my hero!
Loving Mr. Rodgers right now. And you, of course! It is good to have reminders that good people can make a difference.
I will be doing GOAT YOGA this morning!!!!
I wish you well and please keep writing.
I’m able to leave a comment and I don’t have to sign in to do it.
Sitting in the cabana having coffee.
I love you – all of you
Ah, so THAT’S how you defeat the fact that I cannot remember a password to save my life! Also, I love your dress.
Hi Jenny!
So right now I’m loving The Handmaids Tale and of course, all of your posts! So happy your brain is less broken. Mine’s a work in progress.
I’m commenting from an iPhone and it looks like it works!
Hi Jenny, the above “Hi Jenny” is from me. On my Android phone, when you click in the comment box and zoom in, the Email/Name/Website section kind of disappears into the comment box and you can’t click on them. I didn’t think it went through. This is from my laptop and the whole thing looks better. I wonder if it’s a device specific issue? I definitely couldn’t put my email/name in if I wanted from my phone.
There is a cardinal chirping outside my window. It’s a good day.
My comments are working fine. And right now I’m loving watching “Chrisley Knows Best” for all the southern talk and swearing as well as “Release The Hounds” on Netflix.
I love cats!
I’m going to Paris and London in a couple of months. I’ve been trying to learn French, so I can say I tried to be a good tourist. Somehow things aren’t clicking in my head, but I keep doing it. Maybe it’ll make sense when I’m immersed in it. Maybe it won’t.
Love you 😘
Testing. I love my dogs 🐶🦊 and husband 🦁 (none of the beards dude photos work for him). They keep me grounded.
Hi Jenny. Works in my safari browser from my iPad. So happy for you that the treatment is working!!
Something awesome that I love right now is the fact that your new treatment is helping you and you’re feeling so much better!!
I love you,Jenny! You help me (and others) perhaps more than you know. A million thanks. ♡
Turns out that my trying REALLY hard (and still failing) to laugh out loud in class while reading Furiously Happy just got you another another reader! She wanted to know what I was laughing about. This time, it was the emotional support pony.
Someone just gave our elementary school a solar oven, and I get to play with it this summer. 🙂
I adore your co-workers! You’re pretty awesome too.
I saved a bee whose wings were too wet for flying.
My cat likes to knead my bladder every morning before I wake up just to let me know it’s full.
i got to sleep with dinosaur bones and my daughter was invited to a birthday party

I am re-reading Lois McMaster Bujold’s work! Also Sharon Shinn! I love them both and they make me happy. P.S. I wish I had cool colleagues who were cute, smart and furry! Mine just wear clothes and talk rationally. Where’s the fun in that?
Hello, Jenny! I’m just loving that it’s the weekend, so I don’t have anyone to take care of apart from my cats.
PS I’ve don’t comment often, but I have never had any trouble when I do. My browser is Firefox.
You do not exist, apart in your mind. So why insisting in posting a comment ? You, Stefano, are fake as well as your entire existence. This blog will never take comment from a non-existing entity.
Hmm. My comment about Sharon Shinn and Lois McMaster Bujold came out anonymous. This time I put my first name in. Anonymity breeds trolls. Hope I am not one.
I’ve never had a problem commenting from Safari. So, we’ll see! I’m happy that the awful dream I had was just a nightmare and everything is fine this sunny Saturday morning!
This is my first comment ever even though I’ve been following you from the beginning. What I love right now? Cinnamon bread from a local bakery. And my cat.
I’ve NEVER had a problem leaving comments, but I have also have a WordPress account.
The Lady who lives on the corner is having another garage sale. It’s blocking traffic so I can’t get off my street. It’s the same shit she didn’t sell in her last six garage sales. Just saying.
I am loving the show Dietland!
I’m reading some great books and your dress is beautiful. Also, as long as I don’t use an email address that WordPress claims I don’t know the password for, I can post comments. Stupid WordPress.
I am going to see my granddaughters today because their mommy and daddy want to go on a date night. I’m really excited because last time we babysat so they could have a date night, we got a new grandbaby! Oh yeah, and I was notified that I won a Goodreads giveaway! YAY for Day after Friday the 13th.
Hi Jenny! I love that my kids have been at their grandparents for a week, and I’ve been able to knit, and spin, and watch movies with my husband with abandon! And I also love that I get to see them tomorrow!
Hi Jenny! Since you’re checking these, would you like me to make you something cool as a gift? Just a thank you for adding happy to my life! (I can go creepy if you want want : )
This is a test, also I just wrote a bunch of stuff and deleted it because i was rambling
This is a test and only a test. Had this been an actual emergency…well you know the rest!
I am loving GLOW so much! I only let myself watch 3 episodes a day to make it last.
I am trying to overcome my anxiety to comment here, but I like helping people, so that is helping me. It is summer, and I am going to meet up with the new teacher in my department this week, which is exciting! I am also getting a new anti-inflamatory medicine to try for my fibromyalgia. Thank you for always being a light in my darkness, Jenny.
I’ve never commented before but since I’m on my iPad, using Safari, I thought I’d try to help. I sometimes am unable to do things or rather haven’t learned them yet, as I am actually PC/Android user until recently. Also, I enjoy your Twitter feed very much.
I am loving being able to read in the sunshine (because it’s summer and not school year). Now I’m off to check out that trump cunt video….
After work one day this week, I found a llama and baby llama in my purse. The tiny plastic kind I mean, although if a real llama fit in my purse that would be awesome. And I’m going to put them on my fake succulent next to my T-Rex chopsticks but I had forgotten that they were in my purse so it was a happy surprise. Then they reminded me of the tiny hippo I have somewhere so I blurted out house hippo which confused my co-worker so I got to introduce someone new to the magic of the American House Hippo. Then when I got in the car talking about llamas my husband made up a some about llamas to the tune of bananas in pajamas. It all made my weird little brain very happy.
Hi! I’m loving BTS music right now 👍😊
Well, this seems to be working well- that’s a lot of comments! I enjoy your writing so much- you’re the best. Hope this works!
I’m loving animes and mangas right now, they make happy

I love your books, your blog, and just how real you are in your writing …. and videos. You and your feline work colleague are hilarious. How you manage to communicate the deep human . painfulness of life at times while also drawing us in with your humor is truly miraculous and a gift to many, including myself and my family.
I’m reading your blog post while my dog looks at me with complete adoration.
Hi! I’m reading your blog while on a Netflix binge. The house is quiet for one and I’m enjoying the peace.
“Whoever you are: in the evening step out
of your room, where you know everything;
yours is the last house before the far-off:
whoever you are.
With your eyes, which in their weariness
barely free themselves from the worn-out threshold,
you lift very slowly one black tree
and place it against the sky: slender, alone.
And you have made the world. And it is huge
and like a word which grows ripe in silence.
And as your will seizes on its meaning,
tenderly your eyes let it go…” Rainer Maria Rilke
Tardy to the party.
I’m helping!
I love the air conditioner and my adorable pain in the a** kitten Sir Rutherford McBitty-Face the 1st. I’m also happy because it’s Saturday and I don’t have to go to my hell hole of a day job.
Hello and testing
Anyone who judges you for watching glow is a big jerk
I love having my daughter move back to Austin to help me with life.
i love that i found the courage to knock on doors today to identify Beto O’Rourke supporters! stepping WAY outside this introvert’s comfort zone!!
I think mine’s working.
Maybe it’s working for me?
Just came from Davis Square and visiting “The Boston Sisters of Perpetual indulgence – Convent of the Commonwealth”
You don’t know me but you make me so happy! 😗
I love season 2 of Dirk Gently!
Hmm. I can leave comments if I’m logged in to WordPress (as you noted, it sees my email and insists) and I can like other people’s comments, but not comment on those comments myself – if others are able to do so, I can’t see their added-on comments.
Unlocking windows – wow. Our cats figured out how to unlock every kind of child-proof latch we put on our kitchen cabinets until we finally installed those ones that use a magnet held against the secret spot on the cabinet door as the key, and I see the smartest one trying to open doors (we have levers instead of knobs because of my arthritis) by jumping up and grabbing the levers, but they’ve never unlocked a window or door. I am going to stick your email in its folder immediately in case they know my password and are reading my email.
I am so,glad I found you, Jenny! You male me smile amd laugh! 😘
This is a test of the emergency broadcast system…
I’m also loving GLOW and the rain (in NW England though!) did you watch the real GLOW doc too? Book recommendation -David Almond ‘Skellig’ you may have read…’My Name Is Mina’ is even better xxx
Hello, Jenny, just commenting, I’m on a diet and quite tired and anxious, so right now I would eat two kilos of cold watermelon, so I wouldn’t feel too guilty, or else a big bowl of pasta with lots of pesto and cheese, this if I didn’t mind the guilt later. Love,
M.
Our cat had some dental stuff done and while she was knocked out, we had them give her a lion cut so no hairballs for us this August. Now she’s hiding under the bed because she doesn’t want to be seen without all her long fur. I thought you’d appreciate this situation.
I’m able to comment from my iPho coming to your blog through Facebook.
I’m commenting to prove that I can. Also, hi! Hope you are having a good day today. Depression lies.
My mother in law is in hospice and has been for 270+ days with dementia and chf. Today she remembered who we were and laughed at every silly thing she saw. It was a good day!
NOTICE US, SENPAI!
Howdy, howdy, howdy!
We may not deserve dogs, but we do deserve cats and all the nonsense they get up to!
It is wonderful that you are feeling better!
Im so happy to gear you are feeling much better!
If you can read this, I was able to post. If not, please let me know and I will post again.
Howdy: I’m grateful to be alive for mountain views, kids holding my hand and raindrops
Just testing
I’m loving the opportunity to participate! And I love Jenny and the validation she gives me.
Thank you.
I love my cat, and that cat pics, gifs, etc are a thing. And I’m thankful it started raining as soon as I laid down to sleep because it helped me sleep.
I am a huge Prince fan, yet I’ve never seen “Purple Rain”. I love the fact that my husband has been going everywhere for the last week or so looking for that movie for me. He finally found it tonight!
I am loving that the post office has scratch and sniff stamps.
Hello Jenny!
I love that you are feeling better.
I love how I feel after I’ve forced myself to leave the house and participate in life
My anxiety is through the roof because I am quitting my high stress, long hour job. I know this will be good for me . . . in about two weeks. So . . . future stress relief is coming and I am excited about that.
Hi!
I love the dress you’re wearing in the cat video. You are so pretty! The cat is cute, too.
On vacation I Kauai with my family and I like your furry co-workers too!
Thank you for being so awesome!
Hi Jenny from Uganda. So glad you are feeling better. You’re an inspiration. Thanks so much!

oohhh, I was comment 1200. This is a great Day !
Poop. I was so excited by being #1200 that I forgot (in #1201) to say that it worked for me.
I’ll stop now… Enjoy !

You are fabulous!
My nine month old is my daughter because her first unassisted steps were running after food…. it’s awesome and scary
Ground control to Major Tom.
Is this thing on…
My son loves your cat and I love how smart he is. 🙂
Hello Jenny! If this goes through I’m using Safari on my iPhone. Also I love big butts and I can not lie.
I am anticipating joy with joy! After 18 months, I will see my older daughter and her so-very-lovely husband. 18 months is better than the three years we once spent without a hug.
I have a wordpress account & haven’t had any issues with comments.
I am loving that my son is home from his deployment (he’s in the Navy) and I will be visiting him in a couple of weeks!
Commenting from my iPad.
I’m loving that in London we got more people on the streets to oppose Trump than turned up to his investiture. Go us!
What did I do this weekend? Take a lot of pictures, got in a car wherein the driver had a goal of driving around stuff as fast as possible, and got a sunburn I may regret.
I love Roddy and your blog
So happy to hear about your trip to Europe soon! I’ll be here at home living through your posts! Show them how awesome you are!
Test post. I like turtles.
I had a lady getting Let’s Pretend This Never Happened from the library today! And I immediately told her she needed to read Furiously Happy too (she already had) and needed to get You Are Here (she was delighted to find out it existed). And because our library copy of Let’s Pretend was a little raggedy and sad, I went ahead, withdrew it from circulation, and handed it to her. “Here you go, it’s all yours, enjoy”. So I got to give someone one of your books, in a roundabout way.
I just walked 33 miles in the last 24 hours, at our local Relay For Life event.
What makes me happy right now, my wife is back painting stuff, skulls and scarves. It makes me happy because she wasn’t painting for the last couple of years. http://peacefulobsessionstudio.com/tshirtstore.html

I love that I got to move to a better house for my family and me!
Harry Potter marathon this weekend.
Enjoying a midnight feed with my 12 day old son. We’ve waited so long for him to be here (and I don’t mean the pregnancy, I mean the years it took us to get pregnant), that even when he is screaming his lungs out, we’re still enjoying him.
Enjoying a midnight feed with my 12 day old son. We’ve waited so long for him to join us, even when he screams his lungs out, I enjoy having him here.
Lovely day today. It’s supposed to drop down into the eighties next week so we random survivors are pretty jacked about that!
Now let’s see if the message works!
Looks like it should work. Hooray that my browser remembered my wordpress password, because i don’t! Today I was loving me some genealogy.
I really like your dress but the cat hair on your lipstick is probably not the accessory you wanted
I love GLOW!!
Hi Jenny! You must feel so blessed to have these hundred of comments. It took forever to get to the bottom! Good for you! I have a couple of people who check in on me sometimes but maybe I should start a blog too, if I knew how to do it. Maybe then I’d get the support I really need. I’ll just have to try and picture your sign “you are not alone” when I’m really feeling that I am alone. I should try not to be so needy. I so admire your spunk and crazy humor. It’s really a gift to make people laugh yet be so provocative and informative. You are a wonderful role model. Please get well and continue your good work. Thank you
I assume you’ve seen this?

(apologies if it’s been pasted before, but there are TOO many comments to check)
PS: Glow doesn’t do it for me, but have you watched Dark???
Did you know that Alison Brie is also Captain Marvel?
And for the record, my Alison Brie comment posted and was visible immediately. Which is nice, because Alison Brie is awesome and will soon be kicking Thanos’ ass. (And dear lord I do hope you like Marvel superhero movies because otherwise this entire comment thread is going to be totally pointless.)
Hi Jenny! So glad you’re feeling better. We’re taking my stepson to a local amusement park this afternoon so that’s what I’m loving right now. And my cat. I love my cat. And chocolate. I love chocolate too.
I love my new TARDIS lantern. She flew for the first time this weekend at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival.
Here’s a pic:

I’m mostly just loving my cat, actually. And I went to my local pride parade this weekend and now I just want to throw rainbows at everyone. Good times!
I’ve never had a problem leaving a comment! But this just seems fun to leave a new comment anyway. <3
I LOVE LOVE LOVE GLOW. I finished it last weekend. Can’t wait for season 3!
Cat – Unfortunately, Alison Brie is NOT Captain Marvel. Brie Larson is. I think you have your Brie’s mixed up.
Hopefully this works…your furry coworkers appear to be as helpful and productive as mine!
I am loving that when I just got my most recent computer at work, a lot of the blocked sites and permissions were no longer an issue. Pandora is once again my playground!
I am currently loving listening to music again. I’ve been in a “meh” place lately and am starting to come out of it to the point that I can enjoy some little things again and it makes me happy.
Hi Jenny! What’s great right now is that you are feeling well enough to investigate the comments problem. Which I seem to not have. Glad you are doing better – I really enjoy your work!
Good Monday morning to you! I really enjoy your blog. Have a good day!
Hmm, thing I have been loving. I’ve been working on a cross stitch recently that is very pleasing.
Hello! I’m loving being able to work from home and spending time with my honorary son, taking him around to hunt Pokemon.
I’m using Safari on a Mac.
I love working from home with my baby, who is a monster kid. 🙂 Seriously, he was 10 pounds at birth, and at 9 months is in 24 month clothing. He’s going to be TALL.
It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who is too depressed to figure things out some days but not others. So glad your treatment is working :-*
I’m chasing my passion for art
I love your posts. They make me feel like I’m not alone with the crazy things that happen. And they make me laugh!!
thrilled to have a hack to get past the wordpress thing!
Thank you for giving me enough courage to seek out therapy 🙂
Thanks for the WordPress hack! And how do cats know when we’re working and not just goofing off? Mine do the same thing! One is all in my face like yours. The second lies on top of my hands on the keyboard and insists on pets. The third sits on the floor and reaches up with one paw to tap me on the knee, like, “Hey, lady, how come you never pay attention to me? Huh?”
PS I put nothing in the email box and it posted just fine!
check check, comment check
I don’t think I’ve ever commented before, but I read your blog all the time and love it!

Loving our hot weather in the Pacific NW – dries out the mold between our toes and kills the moss!
It rained last night! Seems like a small thing but Colorado has been on fire for a month and rain is the cure! Love you Jenny!
blows into mic Testing – 1, 2, 3. Testing. Testing. Is this thing on?!
Commenting seems to work fine. And the best things right now? Um….Korean food for lunch (paid for by the boss) and Discovery of Witches getting closer and closer to release by the fine folks in the UK (Thank you, SkyOne!) If you haven’t read the All Souls Trilogy, that wont mean much to you. But if you have, then you are probably already excited about it anyway. 🙂
I’m pretty sure it will work for me. It always does. But testing anyway…
testing!
and I love that I have strawberries.
Dianna – You’re right, I did have my Brie’s mixed up. And now I’m just a teeny bit sad. It would have been so nice to see Alison Brie kick Thanos’ ass.
I love that you have a doll head on the shelf behind you in the photo you just posted!
Thank you for the video of you and your keyboard kitty. I have one of those too!
I can’t take a good dog selfie, either. He always wants to hog the camera 🙂
By the numbers, I’m assuming your experiment worked? I wonder if this is connected to the Amazon issue? I am loving mangosteens today.
something awesome that I love right now: Neutrogena Hand Cream.

Hello lovely people
Your cats are hysterical! Love it! <3
Hi Jenny,
It’s Tuesday, July 17th. Loved the cat videos. Thanks for sharing them. You are correct we do not deserve dogs.

I love that we’ve had rain (not much but some) the last 2 days. I love that you’re feeling better!
I was in Portland, wandering around with a visiting friend. I told her I’d heard about a couple of neat shops within walking distance of our airbnb. Off we wander, in the ridiculous heat, into store #1. My first thought? “I need to tell The Bloggess about this!!!” Taxidermied everything. Up to, and including, a hippo. And a human skull (about $1,000).
The second store was building supplies. I am no longer in charge of tour guiding.
I love and am enjoying the powder mix for my favorite brand of coffee that just showed up at my local store! Gevalia mocha. So it’s like hot chocolate mix with caffeine. All the deliciousness of coffee, none of the “where did I put that coffee filter, crap I didn’t wash that thing I need.”
I didn’t have a problem.👍🏼
No comment button for me on this post. Also, I keep getting warnings on my computer about your certificate. Personally – I love your certificate 🙂
i love that my writer’s block is making me eat donuts and extra coffee today
I love that it’s nearly a week since you requested this, but people are still helpfully posting and giving you feedback.
I also love Doritos. Fucking Doritos. It’s like crack for fat people. No. That’s just crack. Doritos are like Doritos for fat people. Nevermind. I’m gonna finish my lunch.
I used to read you years ago, then got a new computer and life went on and I forgot how much of a friend you feel like, so I’m back! I just wanted to share, because I’m scared of sharing it with others, that while I’m generally a glass half full kind of person, when it comes to my closest relationships I’m excessively pessimistic. So much so, that after I left my ex-husband for serial cheating I didn’t date at all for 14.5 years! I am currently dating a great guy (almost a year in!!!) and we had our first argument the other day. It wasn’t big by any standards (and we were both tired – it was the travel day home from a vacation – and I was getting sick) but my silly insecure brain can’t let it go and I find myself mentally preparing to say goodbye. I know this is ridiculous but as you know, knowing something doesn’t always change the way you feel about something. Anyways, I just wanted to share my insecurity with someone <3
I’m a little late to this party – but WHERE DID YOU GET THAT CHAIR? The one with your secret reverse cat burglar…
P.S. – I absolutely adore your blog. And I’m so glad you have been able to undergo the TMS. I know how wonderful it is to feel like yourself again, to feel like you can see the sunshine and appreciate it. I wouldn’t care a single bit if your treatment changed the sort of things you share on your blog – you’ll always be you and you’ll always be someone who has battled depression. You still have many stories to tell and I can’t wait to read them!
I love that you make me laugh so hard that I can’t stop crying!
I love the way your writing makes me feel. Hope you’re having a wonderful day, Jenny!
The videos of your cats make me miss mine terribly. I had a pair of main coon brothers, but they both passed away within 4 months of each other 2 years ago at 13 years old. They were the sweetest boys and my almost 5 year old son asked me the other day when we would go to the store to get another cat. It’s so sweet that he remembers them seeing as he was not even 3 when they passed away. We are waiting to undergo some major house remodeling and I can’t bring myself to introduce a cat into that chaos. So in addition to being super excited to finally have my house remodeled when it is done, I look forward to one day having some fluffy butts to insist on interrupting me while I attempt to do something productive. I mean, cat snuggles…you just can’t beat them.
I am leaving a comment just to see if I can.
If you can see it, then I guess it worked.

not sure if my first comment posted or not….so anyway, it’s ok if I don’t get a coloring book, I’m just glad you’re there
I know this is old but I just wanted to say you’re awesome! Someone posted crazy on here and rather than block them you just set it to approve their messages? That’s insanely kind and just speaks to how wonderful and compassionate you are!❤️
You made some good points there. It’s hard to sort the good from the bad sometimes, but I think you’ve nailed it!
I’d tried unsuccessfully to leave this comment on the post where you were crying in your car. I love the Ferris is so helpful to you!
I’m so far behind on blogging and blog-reading! You’re right, though, Jenny. Emotions are good. I’m so happy for you that these treatments worked for you, and I’m crying with you as I watched the Insta video. I’m going to keep reading to catch up, and I’m hoping that the D is STILL gone, or at least very mild, if it has returned. Love you! Weird but supportive!I’m so far behind on blogging and blog-reading! You’re right, though, Jenny. Emotions are good. If you have a friend or loved one who is struggling with anxiety, here are seven ways you can help:
Listen without judgement: Allow the person to express their feelings and concerns without judging them. Let them know that you’re there for them and that you’re willing to listen.
Offer reassurance: Let the person know that their anxiety is normal and that they’re not alone. Reassure them that you care about them and that you’ll support them through their struggles.
Encourage self-care: Encourage the person to take care of themselves by eating well, getting enough sleep, exercising, and practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or meditation.
Help them identify triggers: Work with the person to identify the situations or circumstances that trigger their anxiety. This can help them better understand and manage their anxiety.
Offer to help with tasks: Anxiety can be overwhelming, and even simple tasks can become difficult for someone who is struggling. Offer to help with tasks such as running errands, doing laundry, or cooking meals.
Suggest professional help: If the person’s anxiety is impacting their daily life or causing significant distress, suggest that they seek professional help. This can include therapy, medication, or a combination of both.
Be patient and supportive: Recovery from anxiety can be a long process, and setbacks are common. Be patient and supportive, and let the person know that you’re there for them no matter what.
Very well written blog.
