  1. Please come to Michigan soon! I would love to meet you, your books have helped me a lot through the worst times.

  2. Yeah, New Orleans! Maybe someone will bring you a baby raccoon and mardi gras beads. Or maybe a stuffed alligator from Grandpaw. Or maybe the ghosts will bring you mardi gras beads (but maybe not a good idea to whip off your top for the tribe in the bookstore. There might be a quiet, introverted riot where everyone starts coloring).

There is a coffee shop in New Orleans called the Cafe du Monde It is open 24 hours a day and serves the best coffee and beignets. If there is a heaven, and if I actually end up there (despite all the cursing at other drivers on the road), I hope that after death, I find myself sitting at a table at the Cafe du Monde, drinking coffee, eating beignets and watching the amazing wierdness that is New Orleans.

  3. I got my two copies of You Are Here in the mail yesterday. Last night I started coloring exuberantly, and it’s totally okay because I still have a perfect copy. Does that make sense?

  4. Come to the bay areaaaaaa. Sad I’m not going to be able to get my book signed IRL ❤

  5. I just want to say I pre-ordered a copy of your book, and then it arrived and I was so excited, and then two days later another copy of it arrived and I was both excited and really confused but apparently amazon knew I could use two copies so didn’t tell me when I ordered again and now things are awesome and I have a copy to give to a friend! Hooray!

  6. Damn! And I even wore my ghost boobies to work today because it’s casual Friday (and because I don’t have real boobies, so claiming to have some of the spectral variety is the only reasonable thing to do). As much as I’d love it if you came to Albuquerque, Jenny, I won’t ask you to do so because…well, because it’s Albuquerque and you know what troubles this place has caused for Bugs and Daffy. And Heisenberg.

  7. Do the march dates shown above comprise all of the stops on your tour or will there be more?

  8. Not in NOLA but I do love it and hope to return; sorry I’ll miss you, as I’m fairly certain you will have gone home by then. But it’s good you’re going home by then, because I’m sure your family misses you. James Madison needs someone to supervise.

  9. I accidentally ordered two signed copies of the book, so I will be passing the other along to someone who needs it and doesn’t live near your tour towns.

  10. Jennie, you really should book Portland on your book tour.  People love you here. Powell’s had one of your books at their checkout stand at their Cedar Hills bookstore. Please have your publishing handlers add Portland to the list. Thanks, Ginny Hopkirk

  11. I just got my copy in the mail yesterday and read it cover to cover! It’s wonderful! Maybe on your next book tour you could come to Alabama?

  12. I hope my fellow North Carolinians give you the welcome and love you deserve. I live in London now or I’d be there front and center. Recuperating in hospital from an op and Furiously Happy has been my constant companion. Just finished it though so things are starting to look a little less fun. Good luck on the tour!

  13. Regarding your reading in Raleigh NC, I just got news from Quail Ridge that I could not get into the reading or even the signing line. This is due to the fact that I have your book. My best friend from high school who lives in Florida turned me onto your blog and also sent me three of your books, including YOU ARE HERE An Owners Manual for Dangerous Minds. That book along with FURIOUSLY HAPPY and LET’S PRETEND THIS NEVER HAPPENED. Melinda turned me onto your Blog and took the time to get these to me in time for your appearance. As I’m sure you would say, this Sucks. They did tell me if I come and stand in line other people that are buying the book there will all be allowed to go in front of me and that they could not even guarantee that I would be able to see you or if you would even sign my books. Oh well as I will say, THAT REALLY SUCKS!!! Maybe another time, another day and another state. I was really looking forward to coming to your event.

  15. I would LOVE to be in New Orleans! It’s -20C/-4F here and my boobies are freezing! By the end of the day Ghost Boobies are all that I’m going to have left. And The Viking won’t like that because he’s a Boobie Guy. Brrrr…..

  16. Just like your last stop, the bookstore will be full of your followers! I just know it. I would be there in a second if it was at all possible!
Enjoy every second, you never know when you will do or see the same things.

  17. Sadly, I’m here.

  18. I was so excited to see that you were coming to New Orleans. But work get in the way of everything, so I won’t be able to go.
HOWEVER, I did go pick up three copies yesterday for myself and a few friends.

I hope you enjoy your time here!

  19. If you need restaurant recommendations for Raleigh, holla! You’ll have a couple good options right near the bookstore. 24 hours until you get to meet me. I know you’re excited. It’s okay. I have that effect on people. Wink.

  20. I too am in Ghost boobie land and will not be there, started reading the book in B&N, started laughing OUT LOUD, got ‘looks’ and had to buy it!!! Enjoy.

  21. My (2) copies of your book arrived minutes ago! Honestly, I don’t believe there is anything else on the market like it. I got to page 44 and became so emotional reading it … you touched my soul today, Jenny. Thank you. I know I’m going to buy yet another copy, or two, because I can think of others who would would benefit from your words and art.

  22. Jenny! I’ve been waiting for you to pass through NOLA! But I have to go pick my momma up from the airport after work. Don’t know if I can make it! If not, I surely hope you come back to New Orleans again some time!

  23. I was going to come see you in Raleigh tomorrow, but you are sold out! There are tickets to stand in line, still. But that book store is 45 minutes away and I loathe standing in line and I’d only have 30 seconds to nerd out in front of you. So, I decided to buy 5 copies of “You Are Here” (I already have and read my copy!) and will spend Saturday writing cards to the ladies I’m sending them to! So I’ll be with you in spirit–boobies and all! Thank you for another wonderful book! It’s simply perfection.

  24. I totally would, but I think it’s probably a long drive from Ontario. Come see us Canucks! No pressure! We’ll wait! And we have beaver tails and maple syrup and poutine. Just sayin’. 😛

  25. There are some stops that are already sold out but I always try to sign everything even if you already have the book. Some bookstores don’t realize that until it happens or they can only let in a certain number of people for fire reasons but if it does happen you can catch me out in the parking lot and I’ll sign your stuff. :).

  26. Similar to Janet (comment #25) —I pre-ordered your book from Amazon and by the time you posted your book tour here and I looked into it, Raleigh was already sold out. BUMMER. I wish the store would have moved it to a bigger venue or….SOMETHING. At least I was able to get a “signing only” ticket by buying a second book from the bookstore. Which, hey, I would have bought more books for friends anyway. I am taking you at your word (several posts ago) that you will sign “anything.” So please forgive me, people in line behind me, cause I am going to have two books to sign AND I want Jenny to sign the buttocks of Floyd the (gender-confused) Pink Flamingo with Multiple Personality Disorder. Floyd loves Jenny but he is just ape-shit crazy (biggest fan) of Beyonce the metal chicken.

    Love you Jenny—-can’t wait!!!

  27. I am so excited to come out to try and see you tomorrow!!! I’m so nervous and scared that I’ll be awkward as all get out but I’m going to try. I didn’t buy my copy at Quail Ridge so I’ll be near the back of the line but hopefully I’ll still get to say hi!

  28. Hi I’m just seconding comment #3. Please come to Michigan. I will come to see you and I will bring at least three people with me.

  29. I’m going to try really hard to get to the La Jolla event. Leaving the house on my own is a huge challenge for me and driving in La Jolla is a big bucket of anxiety, but you’re worth it. I have ten days to practice visualizing positive events without letting the fear monster hijack me. Where’s the wine?

  30. I’m freaking out trying to get my travel plans in order to see you on the 20th. I just read on the bookstore’s website that only books bought there will be signed, and now I’m freaking out even more because I already bought all your books and do I have enough money to buy another copy and oh boy this is stressful but I know it will be worth it!

  31. I hope New Orleans was good to you and it was a good experience. I am hoping and praying this silly storm thats supposed to be coming to the eastern seaboard goes out to see….otherwise I may not get to Philly to see you and I want to see you!!! I am hoping my amazing fiancee will come with me so I can introduce her to my author crush 🙂

  32. Saw your tattoos on Instagram. Now I totally want to put “On Sale March 7th” on my skin… 😉

    Party On, Misfits!

  33. I got my book today and wish I lived in Texas or one of the Touring Areas instead of Colorado. I evidently messed things up and didn’t get signed up for the book bag. It’s all part of the post concussion thing my brain has got going on along with trying to tell the hubby’s PCP where he can stuff his stuffy attitude over my dying hubby’s wish over having an occasional drink if hubby wants too! The pcp isn’t the one dying and if it makes the hubby happy, he can have one!!!! <3 And staying calm when daughter has a systemic/anaphylactic reaction to the growth factor shot for two hours so she can keep getting chemo. Good Luck tonight, Jenny! {hugs}

  34. There’s so much to Nola than the typical Bourbon St/French Quarters tourist attractions. Its a city that will pull u in and put you under her spell. Its all love.. I just love my city
