I don’t like the sound of my own voice but apparently other people do.

So Broken (in the best possible way) is somehow on the NYT audiobook bestseller list this week and I can only assume that’s because I recorded it in my closet and Hunter S. Thomcat and Dorothy Barker make several audio cameos. Regardless, it’s very exciting so to celebrate I’m giving away a set of each of my audiobooks on CD. (Well, on lots of CDs, to be honest. I am very long-winded, apparently.) Just leave a comment saying which one you want and I’ll randomly pick some winners. (But shipping outside of the US is crazy expensive so US only for this one, okay?) Also, I think Let’s Pretend and Furiously Happy might be out of print in CD form so these come from my personal stash. You can still find the audio copies digitally all over the place though.

And in other news…it’s Sunday, so that means it’s time for the weekly wrap-up!

This week’s wrap-up sponsored by the lovely people at StoryWorth, who have a fantastic gift idea for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day or any day you want. How it works: StoryWorth will email you (or someone you love) an inspiring story prompt once a week for a year.  You (or your loved one) will just email your response back when you have time.  You can keep your stories private or share them with others.  And at the end of the year StoryWorth puts it all together as a memoir bound in a hardcover book.  It’s crazy easy and it makes an amazing gift to yourself or to others.  I used it on past Father’s Days and Mother’s Days and now I have two beautiful books filled with amazing stories that my parents loved sharing and that my sister and I and our kids loved reading. Click here to check it out.

  14. Broken (in the best possible way) so I can gift it to my best friend!

  15. I’d love Let’s Pretend This Never Happened on CD! Listening to audiobooks and in my car gets me through my commute and honestly, any time I’m feeling low I reread this book because it never fails to make me laugh out loud, every single time (seriously though, I’m banned from reading it in bed because I startle my husband awake every time I burst out laugh!). Also, as a long winded writer and speaker, I can relate. So happy you are enjoying such great success!

  16. Happy Mother’s Day! Being able to hear any of your audio books would be amazing! Really, I can’t choose and a surprise would be amazing!

  17. Oh my…decisions, decisions, decisions…I guess I’d have to choose “Broken”, just to hear Dorothy Barker and Hunter S. Tho cat in their cameo appearances. Plus, to hear you read your Best Seller would be awesome too!

  18. I would LOVE a copy of your audiobook Broken. Your voice is very soothing and helps keeps my demons away late at night when they’re the most dangerous. You are amazing!

  19. Broken on CD would be amazing! I don’t do audio books myself but my bestie loves them and I really think my boyfriend would like audio books too as he loves to listen to things but finds it hard to sit and read.

  20. I love them all but Let’s Pretend is the only one I haven’t heard read in your voice. Winning that would be fabulous!

  21. Ooo, I’d love to get a copy of Furiously Happy on audio! It’s my go-to pick-me-up for really bad days. ❤

  22. I read Broken (in the best possible way) and it’s so good!!!! I got my amazing coworker into you and he only listens to audio so if you could send one, he would be so excited! He even bought me one of your raccoon masks.

  23. My therapist introduced me to your books a few years ago. She has been wanting to get Broken on audiobook but hasn’t done so yet. Would be a great gift for her a she is opening her own practice on June 1st and totally deserves it for helping keep me alive all these years 🙂

  24. I’d love Broken most, but tbh, I’d love ANY of them!!
Happy Mother’s Day, Jenny. Thank you for sharing all of yourself with us. ❤️

  25. I would love an audio copy of Broken! I have read (and listened) to your other two books, so I’m on the waiting list for the new one at my library…the list is a little long. 🙂

  26. Hmmm it’s a hard decision. But Let’s Pretend This Never Happened was my first exposure to the amazing Jenny Lawson. So I would have to choose “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened”.

  27. Lets pretend this never happened. You are spectacular and have helped us in so many ways! Thank you so much!

  28. “Furiously Happy”! Or “Broken”. Or “Let’s Pretend…”. Ok any one of them would be GREAT! Just reread “Let’s Pretend…” after finishing “Broken”. So refreshing to have someone to relate to all my STUFF! 💚💚💚

  29. I would love to own any of them! If forced to choose I guess it would be Broken. I would be beyond thrilled to own any of them though.

  30. I am just finishing up reading Furiously Happy and just got my signed copy of Broken from Nowhere Bookshop and I would love to listen to an audible version of either one!!

  31. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened <3 — it's my go to gift giving book and I'd love to have it on audio!!

  32. I would adore a copy of ANYTHING you do on audio… your books, you reading a recipe, you talking in your sleep…I think you get the idea! Just finished reading Broken & my husband thought something was wrong with me because of how often I laugh- snorted or he’d walk in to find me with tears streaming down my face & unable to catch my breath from laughing so hard. Then he would look at the book in my hands & say “oh, the Bloggess again?”

  33. I adore Let’s Pretend This Never Happened and Furiously Happy on audio!! I bought just the print of Broken and while I can hear your voice in my head when I read it, it isn’t the same. Your stories in your voice is magic

  34. Would love to hear Broken in your voice! Really enjoyed your reading on 4/21!

  35. I’d love any of them! But if I have to pick one, I’d go for Let’s Pretend…my all-time favorite!

  36. Having Broken on CD would be great. I’m going through a phase where it’s difficult to read.

  37. I would LOVE “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened”! I so enjoyed reading “Furiously Happy” and can’t wait to order the other 2 to read!

  38. Yes please for the audio CD, I would love to hear it read in your voice.

  39. I bought all three when they came out but laugh the hardest listening to them (borrowed from the library). I would love any of the three since I don’t own them on audio. If I had to narrow it to just one, Let’s Pretend is definitely my favorite so far!

  40. I bought Broken on Audible , so I would love either of the other two!!! (I hope you got a commission, I LOVED it!!

  41. Oops. Guess I need to register rather than be anon.

I bought all three when they came out but laugh the hardest listening to them (borrowed from the library). I would love any of the three since I don’t own them on audio. If I had to narrow it to just one, Let’s Pretend is definitely my favorite so far!

  42. Oooh! I’d love Broken on CD! I always love hearing you read! Especially from a closet! 💚

  43. I bought Broken last month and am waiting impatiently to read it with my partner, I’d love a copy of Let’s pretend it never happened, but any would do to be honest, I love all your books so much, they make my day so much better.

  44. I would love any of them, but Let’s Pretend will probably always be my favorite!

  45. I have them all on cd except BROKEN. And since I’m so fucked up and broken, Broken sounds amazing. PS. Your voice is very soothing. Keep reading audio books

  46. Have all in hardcopy, and would love any on CD!! Happy Mother’s Day!

  47. I DO love your storytelling voice and don’t think anyone else would do your books justice! I started with getting Furiously Happy in a period of my life when it wasn’t Happy from the library. I listened to it in the car with my kids and we all related AND laughed. You have had admirers ever since! I have recommended your books to countless people who are dealing with mental health problems and copied your coloring book pages to give to stressed people to color. I would LOVE any of your books on CD❣️

  48. I would be happy with any of these, it how about “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened”. Thank you for your generosity and Happy Mother’s Day.

  49. Happy Mother’s Day Jenny! So happy you get to visit with your folks soon❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for doing a giveaway. I would love an audio copy of Broken
Thank you for all your greatness ❤️

  50. I want Broken (In the Best Way Possible) because if I win, I want to gift it to a dear friend of mine who is visually impaired and I have told her how much reading Broken meant to me.

  51. Would love to have Broken on CD!

You are so generous, Jenny. thank you. Whether or not my name is drawn, I am grateful just because you are so kind as to give some away.

  52. I’ve read furiously happy and had my daughter read it. We both were instant fans. I’d love Broken.

  53. I would love, in the best possible way, to be gifted with Broken.
Happy Mother’s Day to you and all who read this. We are all Mothers of some sort. Even Frank Zappa was a Mother.

  54. I’d love Broken, since I own hard copies of the others but just recently finally got employed again and my dog thinks buying dogfood is a priority over new books.

  55. I’ll admit I haven’t read any of them (long story but I haven’t read an actual book in years, due to kid who rarely sleeps, but I digress) so I’d be happy with any, and congratulations on the new book and best seller status! That’s pretty neat!

  56. Let’s pretend, we are going on a long car ride and it would be the perfect way to pass the time!

  57. I would love an audio of Furiously Happy. I keep trying to share this book with people who I think would benefit from it and I’d love to have an audio version to lend. The book changed my life.

  58. Furiously Happy, of course. It’s like rediscovering hte amazingness of YOU every time I read it or talk about it or lend it to somebody who’s somehow not read it before.

  59. On no I think it deleted my comment….. I would love to have a written or audio copy of Broken! I cannot afford it right now but have heard it is so amazing so I need it so bad!

  60. I’d love Furiously Happy on audio. I listened to Broken before the book came, and it was very poignant to hear everything in your voice. It made me laugh and cry, I related to so much of it.

  61. Hello, Ms. Lawson. Any of the audiobooks would be a treat, but if I must pick one it’s got to be Let’s Pretend This Never Happen. Thank you and congratulations! 🎉

  62. I drive a lot, would love audio anything! Especially something recorded in a closet. Perfection.

  63. Hi Jenny, I would love to get Broken or Let’s Pretend. I bought Furiously Happy for a friend at work. On audible, she loves books but dyslexia sucks. She really struggles with anxiety and I knew she would love you. Plus she asked why I laugh like a madwoman when I read on break. She loved it. Told me it’s her favorite AND bought me a Rory pin (so you know it’s true). She got a great new job and I would love to present it and tell her it’s from you.

  64. Furiously Happy of course. So I can have you in the car with me as I drive through radio wasteland of rural interstates! (This may appear as a duplicate post, as my cat hit ‘post comment’ before I finished the reply form…)

  65. I love audiobooks. It’s like having a friend reading to/with you. I have all of your books on audio.

  66. I would LOVE the audio of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened! It is one of my favorite non-fiction books!

  67. We have all off these on audible, but just want to say they are awesome!

  68. I’m only half-way through broken and just listened to a depressing chapter on depression, that ended so bittersweetly I’ve had to take a few days to marinate in it all! All of these books have made me laugh out loud and get funny looks, which makes me laugh even harder!! And who doesn’t need more laughing in their life!??! So I’d have to say the Furiously Happy would be my first choice, but Lets Pretend this never happened got me the best odd stared when I read it on a beach during family vacation….and im only halfway through Broken so i can’t really count it out as a favorite yet!!! Having CD’s in the car for a road trip this summer with YOUR voice would be so cool!!! Plop my name in there wherever thanks a bunch for thr knowledge and especially the laughs!!!

  69. I would love to see you pair up with your UK publisher to spread some love to those of us in Europe and the UK.

  70. I would love Let’s Pretend this Never Happened or Broken! Thank you for all you do!!! You once re-tweeted my bestie and I when we were hiding in a bathroom to avoid a large family gathering. 🙂

  71. I’d love Let’s Pretend. Having lived in the Wall, Texas area for about 6 years, you captured the “culture” perfectly, and I’d love to hear those stories in your real life voice! I knew you were talking about Wall before you named the town. I also enjoyed your readings at the San Angelo Hastings; it was awesome. Thanks for all your books!

  72. Let us pretend , is my all time favorite book, I like the HR stories because I used to be a social worker and the experiences are very similar

  73. Broken on audio would be the best. Can’t listen in the car, tears mess up your vision.

  74. Let’s Pretend because it’s the OG. I just finished listening to Broken last night and it was beautiful.

  75. I would love a copy of any of them! It would be so great to hear it in your voice!!

  76. Would LOVE a copy of Let’s Pretend – I haven’t read that one yet.

  77. I adore all of your audiobooks, and I couldn’t imagine anyone else narrating them!

  78. I would love to have the audio. I have the book, but have brain-fog so bad I can’t read!

  79. I would love a copy of Broken! If I get it, thank you, and if I don’t, congrats to those who did!

  80. I would love Broken on CD! I spend a ton of time in the car, and that’s the only one I haven’t been able to buy yet. Restaurants being shut down, then almost breaking my ankle right as they start back up has depleted my “fun” money.

    Love you!

  81. I already have Let’s Pretend, so Furiously Happy or Broken would be great!

  82. I would love Let’s Pretend because I have the others on Audible but not Let’s Pretend so that would be awesome! I love your voice & your Audiobooks are the best!

  83. Broken on audio is fantastic. I got a copy from Libro.FM and adore it 🥰. I would love either of the other two.

  84. Any of the CDs would be treasured.

Happy Mother’s Day to you and all your followers: mother’s, adoptive mothers, step-mothers, grandmothers, and father’s who are filling that role, too.

  85. I would love a copy of Let’s Pretend, it’s when I first fell in love with you.

  86. I would love Broken! I just finished listening to Furiously Happy and it was wonderful to hear it from you!

  87. Literally any one of them would make my daily commute so much better! Thank you for the chance!

  88. If you haven’t chosen anyone yet, I would like to ask if my name gets randomly chosen to send one of your choosing to the crisis agency i work with. Response Crisis Center. I think it would be lovely to share with the other counselors there. I’ve been buying gift copies of the audible version for a few of them but physical cds would make it easier for counselors to check them out of our resource library.

  89. How cool that you read your own audio book! Would love to hear itm

  90. I would love a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened
    Ps – Happy Mother’s Day 🌷

  91. I have all on Audible. You are amazing!!! Our favorite is “Let’s pretend this never happened”, but only because it was our first introduction to you. Happy mother’s day!!!!

  92. Would love a CD! P. S. I got StoryWorth fir my mom last year and we are so excited to get the finished book! Thank you!

  93. Furiously happy was the first book I listened to after my momma passed away. It helped me try to start healing and see that we are not in our mental distress alone… other people are struggling just like us. Thank you for being raw and open and making me laugh, cry, and empathize. It’s my vote… I’m halfway through the audio for broken right now.

  94. I would love a copy of either Let’s Pretend or Furiously Happy. I bought Broken in print & audio. Love hearing you tell us stories. My husband says he’d rather listen to you than read, your voice makes the story better.

  95. I would love an audio version of any of these; perfect for driving my husband nuts on long car drives! – Rusty Kransky

  96. Let’s Pretend isn’t offered on my Libby, and I’ve emailed my library about this!! Your audiobooks are AMAZING! They give so much pizzazz to the experience of your books. I would adore a copy of Let’s Pretend!

  97. Broken (In the Best Possible Way) would break our sides with laughter to have on audio! It would be wonderful to have and to share with family that way! Thank you for the chance! You are a wonderful author!

  98. Would love a copy of Broken on audio as I already have your first two on audio. Sometimes I have trouble focusing when I read so audio books are wonderful.

  99. Broken in the Best Possible Way would be amazing. I read Furiously Happy twice in the space of 6 weeks at the beginning of the pandemic and reading it again now as I navigate a difficult transition in my life

  100. Broken please. Feeling a bit broken today & I have no reason to. *you rock*

  101. I would love a copy of Furiously Happy on CD that would be amazing! Happy Mother’s day too!

  102. Furiously Happy, which my bookclub is currently reading, so I could gift a copy to the group member who was laid off during the pandemic and still isn’t fully employed yet. I always try to read your books in public places because they make me laugh so hard people always want to know what I’m reading that I love so much. I like to think this helps boost your sales. 😁

  103. It would definitely make my Mother’s Day to get “Furiously Happy” on audio CD!! 😀 You rock!

  104. I would love to be considered for a copy of “Broken (in the best possible way).” Thanks for the generous opportunity.

  105. I already have Furiously Happy, so would love a copy of Broken. I’m so old fashioned, I prefer buying CD audiobooks rather than the downloaded version. Also, I love your voice. I probably don’t like the sound of mine either, but every time I read your blog (or Tweets) I hear them in your voice and love it!! cheers.

  106. I would love any of them, but if I had to pick, I’d say Broken ♥️

  107. I have bought so many copies of Furiously Happy in softcover, Kindle, and Audible formats as gifts for family, friends, and some of my college students, I’d LOVE to have a copy on CD to share!

  108. I would be delighted to listen to any of these, especially Furiously Happy. Thanks for the chance.

  109. Your words have helped me through some of my worst times. Furiously Happy is what I’m currently reading (again) and that’s the one I’d want, should you choose me.

  110. I LOVE all three – but don’t have Broken, so would love it! You are so special- thanks so much for helping all of us broken folks!

  111. I would love an audio copy of Broken, listening to you read it would be so relaxing, you have such a soothing, calming voice. Happy Mother’s Day!

  112. Oh my heart. I started over with Let’s Pretend and am halfway thru Furiously Happy. I’d love to have a copy of either for my car, but especially Broken because I’m not there yet (both in reading, and emotionally) but breaking down a little each day. ❤️

  113. Please enter me in the drawing, I LOVE YOU AND YOUR BOOKS !!!

  114. I would love a cd of Let’s Pretend just to hear you read a line that ALWAYS makes me smile: It was NOT a Thundercat.

  115. I laugh/cried in the car and gym through both “Let’s Pretend this Never Happened” and “Furiously Happy” so I would love a copy of “Broken” to continue the tradition.

  116. I would LOVE Furiously Happy! I already own it on Audible, but I’m always recommending and gifting it to my friends who are going through a hard time…listening to your books has been one of the best ways to process some of the crap I’ve had to go through in my life, and I’d love to gift your humor and honesty to others!!!

  117. I would seriously love any of them on CD! I am not picky when it comes to you and your thoughts!

  118. I laugh/cried through “Let’s Pretend this Never Happened” and “Furiously Happy” in the car and gym. I’d love a copy of “Broken” to continue the tradition.

  119. A gift of Broken would be the most wonderful! Because I haven’t read it yet and because, pet cameos. Btw, do you like the sound of your voice in your head? Mine always sounds a lot better and more familiar than my recorded voice, which sounds much younger and somehow less tough.

  120. I have the first two (had to check eBay regularly until I found someone selling a former library copy), so definitely Broken.

  121. Well, I was #174 and I don’t know what happened so I am trying again. I don’t like being anonymous! Not for anyone! Even for you, Jenny. But I would seriously love any of them on CD.

  122. I would love Broken especially to hear you with Hunter S. Thomcat and Dorothy Barker!

  123. Ok, so I’ve bought all 3 books, to support my local indie bookstore and grow my libraty, but then I listen to them, because I’m too busy/lazy. I haven’t listened to Broken yet, but would LOVE a cd copy.

  124. I’ve borrowed all three from the public library where I work and own two in print, so far. I would love the audio of Broken for my collection. I connected with it immediately.

  125. I hesitate only because I listen to audiobooks while driving and would laugh myself to bits… but what the heck, I’ll throw in for Let’s Pretend This Never Happened!

  126. I would loooooove broken. I’m a huge fan of Dorothy and Hunter. Ps I love your voice it makes me happy

  127. I would love to have the CDs of your newest book! But I’d take anything!

  128. I own all of your books, but would LOVE to have Broken on audiobook! Thank you and CONGRATS on the new book!

  129. I’d LOVE any any any audio version- to supplement my full collection (land now growing number of signed copies)!

  130. I’d love Broken (in the best possible way) I introduced your work to a cousin who lives in Austin last week and she was thrilled to learn you’re in TX 💜

  131. You have done so much for so many, your laughter and honesty are truly inspiring. I’d be happy with any one of your books! ❤

  132. Let’s Pretend! Please. Still one of my all-time favorite books. And the one that led me to you and down the path to understanding my own anxiety, Adult ADHD, and depression. We’re all mad here. And I’m here for it!

  133. I loved Broken, it was my first introduction to your work. It’s hard to pass up the pet voices on Broken but I have read it so I would love either of the first two of your books.

  134. I’d love a copy of Broken, to help fill in “those little pieces of missing stain glass in my soul’s window” 🙂

  135. I havent had a chance to read Let’s Pretend yet! I sit at a microscope all day and count lines in fish ear bones, and audiobooks are a huge sanity saver. 💙 So I’d go for let’s Pretend This Didnt Happen!

  136. I would LOVE a CD of any of them, but Broken in particular. You know it’s my favorite.

  137. Yes, other people enjoy the sound of your voice. I believe at one point you’ve compared your voice to Minnie Mouse, but I definitely don’t hear that. While I have physical copies of all your books (actually, two of Let’s Pretend and three of Furiously Happy, only one of Broken so far) it’s the audiobooks I enjoy the most. And I’m *not* an audiobook person, yours are literally the only ones I’ve ever enjoyed. One year, I think 2017 but not totally sure, I actually kept track of how many times I listened to the full audiobook of Let’s Pretend and it was close to 20. That sounds excessive even to me, but your audiobooks are seriously a coping skill for me and I use them that way a lot.

I have a horrible track record of damaging cds beyond playability, so I won’t ask for any. It’s so sweet that you are giving away some from your own stash though!

  138. I would absolutely love to have audio of your book – Furiously Happy – it would truly make me that way to listen to you tell your story in your own voice.

    Happy Mother’s Day!

  139. As much as I want to hear Dorothy and Hunter’s cameos, you have a bathroom story in Let’s Pretend that I read while I was sick with a nasty cold, and I laughed so hard that a giant snot bubble fell out of my nose and made the pages stick together and I had to buy a new book. I think I’d want to hear you read that story.

  140. Your work brings me crazy peace! I will treasure anything BROKEN🥰

  141. Although all three would be amazing, Broken would be my preference. My dogs live a remote life on our (Austin) cattle ranch, it’s fun to watch their reactions to other animal sounds and, in particular, doorbells. (We don’t have a doorbell, no one comes to the door and the cattle can’t reach.)

  142. I would love the audio CD version of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened as it’s my very favorite book.

  143. i love all of your books, so any of them would be amazing, thank you for including me in the random drawing!

  144. I am a huge fan of you and of audiobooks! I would be so grateful if selected and would happily enjoy any of the three, but Broken would be my first choice <3

  145. I would love to receive one of your audio or print books. Love you!

  146. I’ve listened to them all on audio, but I’d love a copy of Broken to send to my sister 🙂

  147. Most definitely the audiobook- then I would feel like we were sitting around chatting with each other as friends… next to a big metal chicken.

  148. I enjoyed Let’s Pretend and Furiously Happy on audiobook…so Broken would be awesome! ❤️

  149. I haven’t heard any of your books on audio, so I’d be overjoyed to win any of them! ❤️❤️

  150. I’ve listened to the first 2 already, so would love a copy of Broken! My library doesn’t appear to be getting the audio version, which is my preference since hearing your voice makes it even better!

  151. What a great thing to do! I would be excited about any of them. Looking forward to reading Broken too

  152. I’d save any of your books on CD so they would stay in mint condition and be worth a million bucks in about 50 years! Let’s Pretend This Never Happened

  153. Let’s pretend this didn’t happen is my favorite. I have it in all versions except CD so would be awesome to have one. But really I love all so what ever I could get I would be gratefull

  154. I would be thrilled to receive any of them, tbh, but Furiously Happy has gotten me through some times & I listen to it every couple of months. 💛

  155. I would love a copy of “Let’s Pretend this Never Happened” or “Broken”

  156. I would love, love, LOVE Broken. I’ve already read it, but what fun it would be to take it along on a Girls’ Road Trip to Glacier this fall!

  157. I love the sound of your voice and i think it adds so much to the book when the author themselves reads it! It’s my very favorite thing. I’ve been waiting to listen to broken!!

  158. oh! I would love audiobook of “Broken” ! Even though when I read it I hear it in your voice anyway.

  159. I would be happy to have any of them. Dealer’s choice if I’m selected!

  160. Would love a copy of Broken, or any of them, really. I have the books but would love to have them for my daughter – she commutes 40 min each way to work.

  161. Would SO love a copy of Broken. I think your voice is awesome!

  162. Having a copy of “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened” would be awesome!! I’ve borrowed it from my library more than a few times.

  163. I would adore a copy of BROKEN, but any of them really. I find I’m having problems reading now (40 years editing mostly on paper, reading all my life often in dim light because I’m that stubborn…) and struggle to read on paper, and all I have of BROKEN is an ARC someone gracefully gave to me. But I haven’t been able to read it and I want to so much!!

Hearing it would be a blessing. Also the cameos. 🙂

  164. I’d love any of the 3 books! I only have a CD player in my old car so this would be perfect@

  165. I would love to have one of Broken! I haven’t had the chance to open the book yet so would love to listen as I read along! I feel like you would use the tone of the words as they were meant to be said/read. I’ve never listened to a book on audio before.

  166. Furiously Happy Would be the one I would love to win. I love it so much and can’t find the time to just sit and read every day so being able to listen while I drive would be a treat.

  167. haven’t done audio in years, but this one sounds like the one to try again with.

  168. I”d love a copy of “Furiously Happy”. I already have digital copies of the other two. Thank you so much for this! And yes, I *do* like the sound of your voice! It makes your hilarious stories even more hilarious! 🙂💜

  169. Furiously Happy because it really cracked me up and I read a lot of it out loud to people, so much that I was hoarse after!

  170. Congrats on your successes! I would love to hear any one of your books as I’ve read the first two. Broken would be a great place to start!

  171. Hi 😊 I just had my Identity stolen, was in the hospital for a week, missed a great family reunion (the 1st in a year and a half) lost a cousin and my list goes on.. I seriously would love to hear your voice to help with my depression/bi-polar/borderline personality/ptsd and add…yup, I’m a hot mess! Any one would be great.. Broken or Furiously Happy 😊 maybe?! Any would make me “Furiously Happy” (yeah I worked it in😉😸! God bless you and your family 🙏!

  172. I would love the audio for let’s pretend this never happened. Its my favorite!!!

  173. Let’s Pretend.
But honestly any of them would be so amazing.

  174. Having read the book I know I would love to hear you read Broken!!I would throw on my ear buds and enjoy laughing out loud as I cruise the neighborhood on my daily walks. My neighbors already think that I am pretty much loosely wrapped and this would serve to verify that thought!

  175. We have hard copies of the first two (family read-alouds) so my first choice would be Broken (in the best possible way). I loved the other two, though, so any of them would be a great listen.

  176. This is awesome. Furiously Happy is my favorite book. I would love an audio copy

  177. Happy Mother’s Day!! I would love a permanent copy of Broken!!

  178. Wow, I’d love any of your books on audio. Hearing an audio book makes me feel less lonely. I adore reading of course, but hearing a book read makes me feel like somebody’s actually talking to me… even if they aren’t actually talking to me specifically… anyhow… would love love love!

  179. This is great! I love both audio and text versions. ‘Broken’ would be my choice since I have not listened to it yet!

  180. Hi. I too love the sound of your voice. Your books are hours-long stand-up routines! I lent my audio book of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened to a friend, who left one disc in a car which crashed and burned and was sold. So replacing that would complete that book, to be re-lent.
I also checked out from my local library an audio-book of Let’s Pretend and lent that to a woman I was seeing at the time. Haven’t seen her in well over a year and am now afraid to ask for it back. And now my library won’t lend me anything until I pay for a new audio-book. This sort of thing happens to us regular folks.
I love your points of view! I owe your a big, safe, loving hug.

  181. Furiously Happy is my all-time favorite life-changing book! (But I gave my CD copy to a friend who needed it. I would love to have another!)

  182. Hi Jenny! I absolutely love your work and I’ve apparently had a pretty normal (for me) year so far.. had identity stolen, was in the hospital for a week, missed a family reunion that’s been 1&1/2 years since we saw each other, lost my dear 🐈 cat and my list goes on. I sure would appreciate and completely enjoy “Furiously Happy” or “Broken” or any choice you could make for me! You are a blessing to this major depressive, bi-polar, borderline personality ptsd and ADD reader.
I seriously have no shame… and that’s a bit frightening but doable for me! God bless you and your family 🙏❣️

  183. I have physical copies of your books but I don’t have any of the audiobooks. “Let’s Pretend…” would be a good place to start!

  184. I haven’t read or listened to any of your books yet so if you choose me I’ll leave it up to you what you send. I truly am a fan, just a fan that hasn’t bought the books yet. 😀

  185. I would love copies of whatever audio books you have left, so I can give them to my friends who are ill with my disease, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (MEcfs), and who are thus unable to read paper books. But they can listen.

Oh, and this week it’s #MEAwareness week / #MillionsMissing. We are trying to raise awareness for our disease, and Long-COVID, whose symptoms are *exactly* like what we fight.

This is my first post in the series: #MEAwareness: You Are Not Alone.

  186. If you pick me I’d like Broken but honestly I’d buy it anyway because I love your stuff and you need to be able to get more taxidermy animals and god for your dove.

  187. My comment disappeared. I think. It’s been that kind of day. But trust me, it was witty and fun. *sigh*
I’d like Broken if you pick me, but I’ll probably get it anyway because I forget I have an Audible subscription and my points expire.

  188. A copy of your work! Yes! I will take anything! Love you….

  189. What a great giveaway. I would be thrilled with any copy, but if you force me to choose… Furiously Happy is the one I don’t have in paper form.

  190. I would love to hear the audio version of either Furiously Happy or Let’s Pretend This Never Happened.

  191. Let’s pretend this never happened – the OG. I would be delighted.

  192. Gosh I’d love a copy of any of them!! I’m going to say furiously happy

  193. I’d love any of them, but I think that I need Broken (in the best possible way), as I am finding it healing.

  194. I’d like a copy of Broken – I think it is going to speak to me.

  195. I’d love any of them, but I think Furiously Happy would be my top choice.

  196. Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷I would love a copy of Furiously Happy or Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I’ve already got Broken. They’ve all made me laugh out loud. Keep it up friend! You’re awesome!

  197. I have all of them on Audible, but I’d love either Furiously Happy or Let’s Pretend This Never Happened on CD for long roadtrips. And yes, I LOVE that you read your own books. It makes them so much more personal and you can feel the range of emotions. When you laugh I laugh. When you cry, my heart breaks for you and I cry too.

  198. I LOVE to hear you tell your stories! Now when I re-read your books I hear it in your voice. Happy Mother’s Day!

  199. I listened to Furiously and Let’s Pretend SO MANY TIMES during the worst of the quarantine. It made me laugh and cry- but mostly believe that everything would be okay. Thank you for your work!

  200. I love your books! I literally laugh out loud throughout them. I would love Broken in audio!!

  201. I would love to hear your voice on ANY cd you would be gracious enough to send me 🙂 It’s always a treat to hear and see you in your video clips, don’t bee too hard on yourself.

  202. While I of course love them all…Let’s Pretend would make me furiously happy. That book holds such a very dear place in my heart and is probably the book I most recommend to others (and I read a LOT, so that really is saying something). Thanks for being real right along with the rest of us, and also for doing something wonderful. ❤

  203. I too would love broken in audio. Or even the live action video. Who would you want to play you? Have you considered doing a broadway performance of the book, but from a bathroom on stage so you didnt have to deal with the audience?

  204. I would love the audio version! The book is taking me a while because I am savoring each chapter!!

  205. I was able to get my hands on a CD copy of LPTNH and you signed it for me years ago. My husband and Iong ago learned not to listen to it in the car for our own safety. I love how you sing the openings to the chapters, it’s brilliant.

I’d love a copy of BROKEN or Furiously Happy, but I’m also content to stalk used bookstores for them too. 💜

  206. Furiously Happy! I would love for you to read to me on any and all future trips. It would certainly ease the travel- and people-induced anxiety!

  207. I would love an audio version of Broken….I love listening to some authors read their own work. Especially when there are humorous and joyous bits, they come across fabulously on audio books.

Thanks for communicating some of what I am expreiencing…in a relatively minot intensity level.

  208. Does anyone like the sound of their own voice? I adore your books. Would love to listen to Broken!! I often find myself wondering if it was hard for you to find your voice or writing style? I tell stories like you but when I write it doesn’t feel true to me and I lose the humor. If you’re looking for something to blog about I will be watching. 🙂

  209. First, I would love the broken audiobook. But most importantly – thank you so much for giving a voice to all of us out here with mental illness. I cannot tell you how much your honesty and humor have helped me through some really, really tough times in the past and now in the present.

  210. I know my wife would love a copy of Broken (if you pick me of course… Please). We have the other two in both paperback and audio.

  211. This is a VERY difficult decision, but… I would love the Let’s Pretend set. People keep walking away with my hardcovers of that one. Maybe the CDs will be easier to hold on to and my collection can be complete once again.

  212. Broken would be my choice! I listened to LPtNH when I was in labor with my first kid. It was a great distraction!

  213. I have all of your books on Audible, but I would love to be able to share your books with the less technologically people in my life. I have the paper versions of your books as well, but I’m not sharing those!! LOL

  214. I would love love love Broken! I used to be able to read endlessly but haven’t been able to finish a single book this past year, the audio version might help

  215. I would love audiobook cds! Love to read your books and share with others!

  216. I greatly enjoy your voice and actually often listen to you at night to help my anxiety filled mind to shut the fuck up and let me sleep. You and Wil have the best voices for allowing my mind to let the BS go and just focus on your stories and then be able to relax.

I own all the audio books, but would LOVE to have Furiously Happy or Broken to be able to give to someone who needs to hear everything you have to say about everything. But especially explain how fucked up our brains are and that that’s ok. Because we are normal … for us.

Thank you awesome lady! You are amazing and if you ever get bored and want to narrate your blog, the phone book, your blog, anything else, I am there for it!

  217. Broken, so much congrats! You’re a special lady and we love you so much!

  218. My clinically depressed autistic ass would love to flap around with a tangible copy of Furiously Happy. 👋 (waving hand emoji)

    Thanks for the contest!

P.S. I find your voice mother fuckin’ soothing. 💖 (sparkly red heart emoji)

  219. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened or Furiously Happy would be awesome .

  220. Broken, or any, would be a great soundtrack for a road trip i am taking with my 75 year old friend to celebrate her birthday!

  221. Reading Furiously Happy is the first time I have laughed so hard I choked, since I was a kid. Thank you Jenny.

  222. I’d love Let’s Pretend this Never Happened, but I only listen to audio books in the car and you get me laughing so hard I am crying, can’t see and can’t breathe, then I’d probably get in an accident. So it is really better if you give a copy to someone who won’t crash. You’re welcome Midwest states.

  223. ANY of your books on audio CD would be so awesome! I’d even take an audio of the coloring book, because you reading the wonderful comments in each picture would be perfect. But since that isn’t an option, any of the other three would be so appreciated!!! Thank You! <3

  224. I’m on hold for the library copy of Broken. Only another 10 weeks to go!

  225. Broken in the Best Possible Way, pretty please! That would be so awesome to add to my Bloggess collection!

  226. Furiously Happy. That book was recommended by our Book Based Drinking Club with other Scout moms. I was in a really bad place at that time and it was the first time I laughed in a long time.

  227. Broken would be wonderful while I’m driving home from work. People will think I’m the crazy lady who laughs while she is alone in the car.

  228. The first time I listened to/read one of your books was Furiously Happy, on the many-hours drive from Missouri to Texas when my dad was dying. Ever since then, my wife and I have been ardent fans. I would love a copy of Broken, since we have your other two. <3 Especially because my wife is dyslexic and has an easier time with audiobooks than with paper.

  229. Based on the number of previous comments, I know the odds of winning are low. But, I’d love a copy of “Broken (in the best possible way).” 🙂

  230. Oh! I just downloaded audible this week. These would be perfect! Is there an order that’s best to go in?

  231. Broken would be so fantastic. Listening to you read your books brings me SO much joy !!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  232. Oh my gosh, I’m so late to the game, but I’d love Broken (or really any of your books)

  233. Let’s pretend I won the “Let’s Pretend” audio CD! 😂 That would make me insanely happy and take my stress levels down a couple notches. Having ASD is not fun. xoxo, Riza

  234. Your voice and reading style are one of the many reasons I adore your writing. You’re great on page but your style and inflection are what make your audiobooks precious gems! I would love to listen to Broken as soon as possible, I think I’m 42nd in line for the audiobook at my local library so you you know there’s lotsa love in Des Moines for ya!

  235. This is so awesome! Let’s Pretend would be amazing to have on CD!

  236. I would love to receive Broken, if Alaska isn’t too far away.

  237. I will take any of them, but leaning towards pet cameos in Broken..the book was wonderful and I appreciate your writing so much since it helps me empathize more to my friends with mental illnesses

  238. Furiously Happy is one of my all time favorite books. But I want whatever has the most Hunter S Thomcat and Dorothy Barker cameos.

  239. I would like BROKEN (IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY), plz.

  240. Let’s Pretend…possibly because it’s fun to pretend I may actually win something. It was also the book that cemented you as one of my absolute humorists, writer and person 🙂

  241. I would be so friggity frakking chuffed to win a copy of Broken on audio! I loved listening to Furiously Happy on audio and feel like Broken would be amazing!

  242. I enjoyed the audios of your other books so I’d love to listen to Broken (I read the print book)!

  243. Would love a copy of it on CD for my mother who is losing her eyesight but still loves books. When last I checked there were no large-print editions of the book yet, so this would be great.

  244. I would love a CD copy of Broken I am a lifetime fan 💓💓💓💓💓

  245. We’re moving out of state soon and Broken would be an awesome farewell to Texas to hear in the car.

  246. I would love a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened for my birthday (which just so happens to be today!)! I live in the US. 🙂

  247. I would love broken!!!! I have both of the others on audio cd!!!

  248. Furiously Happy, please! I started reading the book but had to stop because I was laughing so hard (okay, snorting!) and my brain was way too stimulated for me to go to sleep. And that’s my reading time so it was a no go. I’d love to listen to it while driving. No road rage for sure!!

  249. I love your audiobooks, and I only need a copy of Broken to complete my set. 🙂

  250. I loved listening to Furiously Happy and look forward to hearing Broken!

  251. Any of them! They are all incredible. I’ve lost track of how many copies of each book I’ve purchased, because I keep lending them out & not getting them back ❤️

  252. Let’s Pretend It Never Happened, but that it did, and that you sent me this CD!

  253. I just finished Broken, and I think it”s your best yet. I only listen to your books, because hearing you read your own words is half the pleasure for me. I love feeling like I’m laughing and crying with you as you go along.

I’m not asking for any copies; I can get them from the library and you should send the cds to someone who can’t. But I just had to reiterate that Broken is truly magnificent. I finished it and wanted to start all over.

  254. Currently listening to Furiously Happy and on a 6 month waitlist for Broken. Would love to hear it sooner! Let’s Pretend This Never Happened?- I read it ages ago. 🙂 (aside- I just typed this into the search box, which informed me nothing matched my search criteria. Following directions has never been my strong point)

  255. Furiously Happy 😁 Just found my old diskman so this would be excellent timing 😂

  256. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened! Already have Furiously Happy and have enjoyed people giving me a wide berth when I’m walking the dog and randomly cackling to myself for no apparent reason.

  257. I would love a copy of Let’s Pretend! I love your work and the sound of your voice is a pick me up for me! I love recommending your books to others and Furiously Happy is one of my prized possessions as it got me out of a dark time in my life! Keep doing you!

  258. Broken on CD would make me so happy!! Happy Mother’s Day, Jenny!! 🥰🥰

  259. Broken with pet cameos for the win! Thanks, Jenny, for EVERYTHING you do for all of US!

  260. I would love Broken! I’m reading it now, but your voice is better than mine.

  261. Let’s pretend this never happened please. You’re amazing

  262. A cd of Furiously Happy would make me Furiously Happy! 😊

  263. Omg where it began…Let’s Pretend This Never Happened would be my choice. ❤️

  264. Furiously Happy might possibly change my life! Then again, it might not. But we’ll never know unless you pick me to be your secret listener. Which path shall we go down???

  265. Broken (in the best possible way) of course! I have the other two. 😍🤪

  266. I haven’t heard the audio yet of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened so I’d choose that. Honesty, I’d be thrilled to receive any of them! They are magic.

  267. Oooo! Ooooo! (channeling some Arnold Korshack here, sorry for his name misspell) Pick me, please!

And thank you for your generosity ☺️

  268. Broken – I don’t have it and you make me laugh like no one else can

  269. Jenny, I would love to listen to any one of them. I love your voice. It’s perfect to listen to!

  270. Whelp, I’m late to the party and the odds aren’t good but Broken would be my choice as I’ve listened to the others… and I love your narration!

  271. This is a tough choice. I mean, Broken has Dorothy Barker and Hunter S. Tomcat. But u think I’d have to go with “Let’s Pretend…” purely to hear you tell the tale of finding Beyoncé any time I need a smile. Knock, knock motherfucker. 🤣

  272. I’ve read Let’s Pretend at least 3 times, would love to listen to it! If out, would love to have Broken too.

  273. I couldn’t get my shit together enough to attend the appearance with Judy Blume that I paid for. And now I can’t concentrate enough to read the signed copy that finally showed up. So if I could hear you read it to me I would be overjoyed.

  274. I would love to Broken, I don’t have a copy of that one yet!! I have. Others from Audible, but would happily accept anything. You bring me such joy!! Definitely a great pick me up on rough days. For that I thank you!!

  275. We already have them all – and they are SO WONDERFUL! It makes a WORLD of difference that your read them… it means we know exactly how you intended the inflections and pauses… it’s perfect. (That’s it. we don’t need to win. I just wanted to gush about how much my daughter and I love your writing. AND voice!). 🙂

  276. I’m jumping on the I will take either one of them train! I love that you’re doing this, you’re the bomb!

  277. Wow, that’s so generous! When my hubby and I drive to visit our kids (or anywhere when pandemic allows), we listen to audio books. If I won, I’s love an audio copy of you latest huit, Broken, in the Best Possible Way. Our next long drive in in October, so this would be perfect!

  278. I would love to have one for a friend that has lost a lot of her vision and can’t easily read anymore. Any of your books would be fantastic as I would be introducing you to her!

  279. I would love any one of your books on cd. I have loved all of your books.

  280. I would love to win Broken the most. Thank you for doing a giveaway!

  281. I repeatedly check out the audio for both Lets Pretend This Never Happened and Furiously Happy from my library and I would love to officially own either one. They always cheer me up at the end of a long day and allow my overactive brain to laugh and relax with what feels like a good friend.

  282. Broken, for sure. I feel like I can hear you reading it already, but it might just be other voices in my head.

  283. I have listened to all 3 and own all 3 books in hardback. I would have to say Let’s Pretend the didn’t Happen was my favorite!

  284. I’ll take any of them but I’d prefer Broken. I’m reading it now and laughing, crying, and laughing so hard I’m crying.

  285. “Let’s Pretend….” would be my choice for sure. It’s how I discovered you at a little independent bookstore while visiting central PA.

  286. Broken or Furiously Happy would be AMAZING!! (Although all of the books are awesome 🙂 )

  287. OMG I would love those so much! I check Furiously Happy on audiobook out from my library every year for this 10 day race I do annually. But alas, this year it’s not available because I guess people are listening to all your other books since there’s a 3 month waitlist for Broken.

  288. I LOVE ALL your books! They have helped my daughter and I so much! You are so relatable to us! We cry and laugh with you! Any of your CD books would be amazing! If we win just surprise us with a choice! Thank you so much!

  289. I’m not particularly hopeful on this as I am pretty far down the list, but it’s Mother’s Day, tomorrow is my birthday, I’ve had some vicarious loss and personal victories this week. I’d like furiously happy since it’s the one that helped me through all the things – divorce, explosion, recreation, refining. That was there to pull out and read or quote or gather inspiration or just stuff four leaf clovers in. Audio would be a welcome addition .

  290. I love the first two … and haven’t started the third yet… but your first book really hits the right spot for re-reads… so yes, please!

  291. I would love Broken on CD. But really, any of them would be a fabulous gift, and one that I could share with friends as well.

  292. I would love, Let’s Pretend This Never Happened on CD…but I would take any of them!! 😀

  293. I love all your books and would love to hear your voice from any of them, but Furiously Happy is where I found you and you made me so Furiously Happy!

  294. Broken is the only one I don’t own already. It sounds amazing!!

  295. Would love Furiously Happy or Let’s Pretend This Never Happened.

  296. Let’s Pretend would be my first choice, but any of them would be awesome! Thanks! 🙂

  297. I’d love a copy of Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. It always reminds me of the time your humor “saved” me from being locked in a library basement. I could’ve pulled off the dream if you weren’t so dang funny, Jenny! <3

  298. I love your books! The moment I found out there’s another mom who hides animals to scare her family I was hooked. (Mine were geese in the kid’s closet)

    I’d love Broken

  299. I would be interested in hearing your work. Let’s pretend it never happened, is a good a title as any. Yours sincerely Modesty Janexxx

  300. Broken on cd would be fabulous! Broken in any fashion. I have read the other two, but not yet the latest. Much love.

  301. I’d be happy with any of them, but I guess top choice would be “Broken”

Congrats on the NYT list and it was lovely listening to you chat with John Moe again a few weeks ago 🙂

  302. Furiously Happy always puts me in a better state of mind. ❤❤❤

  303. You have such a generous heart! I would certainly appreciate and enjoy “Broken…”.

  304. I have read all of your books. I would LOVE to have a CD of “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened” because I love to hear you reading it.

  305. Your audiobooks are my go-to from the local library when I need some stress relief and a good laugh! I am so excited for Broken!

  306. I read “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened” years ago when it was first published!!! I remember I literally hyperventilated I was laughing so hard.

My copy got lost in the move after my divorce, sadly. I would love a copy of all 3, to be honest. Please add me to all 3 drawings, I would love a copy of any if my name were drawn.

  307. Furiously Happy!!!! All your creations make me laugh and make me cry and sometimes both at the same time. I would give you all my spoons and all my shards. Thank you for sharing yours with all of us.

  308. Jenny,

A copy of Let’s Pretend this Never Happened on CD would totally rock.

    (crosses fingers)

  309. I would love to have a copy of Broken. Or any really. I loved the first 2 and need to read this one. Thank you for sharing some of yourself with us!!

  310. LOVE YOUR VOICE!!! I have listened to your digital books so much that I hear you in my head when I read my hard copies. It’s amazing and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I would love any of your books on cd I think I have worn out the digital library copies lol

  311. I would love any of them, but if I absolutely had to make the decision for myself I would choose Broken.

  312. These days my brain is broken and I can’t really focus long enough to read a book. (It truly sucks, having been a lifetime reader). And I’d love an audio copy of Broken.

  313. Broken please! (Wait…or should I choose Let’s Pretend?…I have Furious on Audio…eeny meeny miney….SHIT.)
    Broken. Definitely Broken. I think.

  314. I’d love to be considered for Furiously Happy pleases. I haven’t had a chance to read it but it’s on my list of course. Thank you 😊

  315. Hi Jenny, on a plane back from seeing my mom for the first time since she was diagnosed with Lewy Body Disease. Painful visit. I only got one “fuck off” from her (on Mother’s Day no less) so I’m considering that a win. The plane took off, and I had a myriad of emotions..sadness, anger, regret, guilt…blah blah. Then I picked up your book (was on the part where you and Victor were visiting his mom for the first time)…THANK YOU for bringing me out of my dark hole. I laughed all the way from DC to Tampa.
And I’m considering pitching a new show to PBS called….”Dysfuction Junction”. It’ll be a spin-off of Electric Company’s show geared towards all the children of the 70’s. Hmmmm…Maybe it should on Netflix instead with an MA rating.

  316. I would love any of them on audio. I own the first two in paperback and will buy Broken in paperback when available but I also love listening to you (I listened to them by borrowing digitally from my library). So, if I am chosen, I would love whatever you choose. And I love you.

  317. I’m with all the people who said any of them would be wonderfully welcome! I have bought multiples of all the books, including Broken, to share with my sisters and we love them all.
    Happy today, everyone!

  318. I’d love Broken, which I haven’t been able to check out yet!

  319. I would love Broken or Furiously Happy (I listen to Let’s Pretend ALL the time!!!) Thank you!!

  320. I will take anything you want to send my way! I finished Broken and gave it to my brother-in-law, who will read it and then give it to my sister who in turn will read it and allow my 15 year old genius niece to read it! Yeah, everyone wins!

  321. Let’s PretendThis Never Happened on CD would make me furiously happy!

  322. broken in the best possible way! I haven’t had the chance to read it yet!

  323. While I’m confident that they’re all very good reads (& listens), I think I would like to start at the beginning with “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened” please.

(This post was originally going to say something like “Let’s Pretend Ray’s Post was Funny”, so I think we can all be glad that I slept on it first.)

  324. I have loved listening to each of your audio books and listen repeatedly, your accent is awesome and you just convey the hurts, the truths and the make me laugh out loud in everything, I walk along with your emotions and feel for you and celebrate, cry and laugh with you every step of the way. I would love a copy of your audio book, but understand if someone else gets it instead

  325. “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened”! Also, my guy purchased “Broken” on his Audible account for me, listened to it himself – and loved it.

  326. I just found you (often my resistance to “this will help you” from well meaning others causes this in my life and I’d say I’m sorry but lots of times I’m not missing anything at all so instead thank you. Thank you for being here and hearing me and understanding me before I even found you.) I would be extraordinarily happy to receive a written copy of Broken for my friend Stephanie (so me and I’ll gift it to her or her and I’ll give you her details if I were lucky enough to win) who needs your joy in her life, even if she’s like me and puts it aside awhile because tired of people telling her what will help her. LOL

  327. i would LOVE any of your books on CD. I’m new to audio books but have discovered I like them a lot! I’m currently reading Broken, and loving it!

  328. I would be thrilled to receive any one of your audiobooks. Thanks!

  329. Woukd SO LOVE to have the audio book on Let’s Pretend This Never Hapoened. Love all your books but it will always be my favorite!! Congrats on hitting the NYT Best Sellers list!! We knew you would! ❤️❤️❤️

  330. I love your voice! Soothes me. Would love let’s pretend this never happened but am easy so if iam picked will receive any you pick!!

  331. You are a national treasure, Ms. Lawson. I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. Each of your books is a masterpiece. XO

  332. I would just die if I won the audiobook of Broken!!!! I love your voice so much! You’ve always sounded like a deranged (in the best possible way) Disneyland Princess, to me. 😁

  333. Broken (in the best possible way)! I loved both of your other books, audio and print 🙂

  334. I haven’t saved enough money yet to buy Broken (and the wait list at the library is looong) so I’m hoping to win her!

  335. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened! I loved the way you told the stories and I laughed throughout. It’s a book I recommend to friends all of the time (even if it did get vetoed for my local book club due to excessive cursing – true story!).

  336. Crap! Am I too late? If not, just pick any of the three for me.

  337. I’d love to win Broken. I’m on the wait list at the library for the hardback, audio book and the playaway… Plus the ebook 🤣 I can’t wait to either read or listen to it

  338. I would love to give my daughter Furiously Happy (or Broken). She is trying her best to navigate her first year of high school with severe anxiety. I think she would find your books inspiring- to know she isn’t alone.

  339. Broken, please! I want to ask a road trip pretending you are the copiolet. Not
    In a weird way.

  340. I would take a copy of any of them! I ADORE audiobooks!! Thank you so much for doing this!

  341. I would love an audio copy of Broken. I am a counselor and I recommend thebloggess.com as well as your books to my clients all the time! I’d love to be able to play some snippets in sessions to help them understand how beautifully broken they are instead of just the “defective” they think they are. Thank you for the wonderfulness that is you! 🙂

  342. I would love to have Furiously Happy – thanks! and congratulations on the success of your latest book! You rock (even though you may not think you do, you do!) 🙂

  343. I talked with my counselor today about furiously happy and how it had changed my view and normalized my crazy, then I may or may not have made her listen to the 4 minutes or so of the chapter about what I say to my Shrink. Nevertheless now you have two new crazy fans, well one is licensed, the other is just crazy. 😂
Oh and after I get done chasing squirells I’d love anything on CD, even if it is just your rants mixed in with stories about fun stuffed animals as I am now contemplating stuffing my cat when he passes so I won’t have to miss him as much.

  344. I’d love Broken, but if you get to me and that’s been claimed, any of them would be a treat!

  345. Let’s Pretend, please! I will make my family and friends park their butts in my living room, I will feed them many delicious snacks, and then play your audiobook. They will then shower me with thanks for years to come 🙂

  346. I would seriously enjoy a copy of let’s pretend if possible… I am so happy for your success and by sharing your stories helping me realize I am not alone in the darkness(depression) that sometimes is out there waiting to kidnap me .

  347. I’m currently listening to Broken on my daily commute and it’s really good. I need to go buy the book version!

  348. Wow. Ok first off your mobile website blows and you need a new web designer. (Yes, I am a designer thanks for asking) but what I really wanted to say was that I am kinda freaked out right now because the only reason I bought “Furiously Happy” was because it was on the BOGO 50% off table with this book I wanted to read on Victorian surgery! ( ok, ok the raccoon MIGHT have had something to do with it). So now after reading “Furiously” and having recovered from laughing until I couldn’t breathe (and may or may not have pee’d some -I’m taking the 5th on that one) I decide to check out your website and low and behold your comment about victorian diseases!! What are the odds?!?!?? I think your book saved my life. But that Victorian medicine thing is really freaking me out!!

  349. I would love to be able to listen to Furiously Happy. This is one of my all time favorite books. Actually I would also be thrilled with audio of Broken. Either one. I’m indecisive as ever. 😂

  350. I’m listening to Broken as I taper off one anti-depressant so I can eventually take a different one. It’s miserable and I was not prepared for it. However, having you talk to me about anything and everything, has made it easier.

  351. To laugh would help with so much right now! Broken as told by you in your voice would be amazing…

  352. if you are still doing this, i would really love ‘let’s pretend this never happend’. thanks jenny!

  353. i’m sorry – i didn’t fill in my information. i am comment #490 and would love a copy of ‘let’s pretend this never happened’.

  354. I got both the book and the audio book out of the library. I returned the book because hearing you read it is SO much funnier (more fun? I don’t know the correct grammar.) And even though this is my third time listening to one of your books you would think that I would learn that is really not safe to listen to your books while I drive. It hasn’t happened yet but it will one day I am sure.
Officer: “Ma’am what happened? why did you hit the person in front of you”
Me “Sorry officer I was laughing too hard about penis’s in car holes”

  355. Ooh I haven’t listened to the one with the Stewart Little rat on the front. That one seems fun.

  356. I would love ANY of your books on CD. But if I had to choose one, I’d go with Broken. I have it coming Saturday. Squee!!!

  357. I have all of your books EXCEPT for, “Broken”. 💔📚

  358. I listened to Furiously Happy and I loved your voice. the author reading her own work is the best audio book ever. If you are still giving away an audio CD I would love a copy of Broken. I have recommended Furiously Happy to friends and they have thanked me. Thank YOU for your humility, truth, sense of humor, and generosity.

  359. The comment from Emilylovesrob made me laugh because it reminds me of the review I left on Goodreads after listening to Furiously Happy. I said that listening to the book while driving could be hazardous to your health because I was laughing so hard, tears were blurring my vision while I was driving and almost caused an accident. Another way that Jenny tells us / shows us we are not alone.

  360. Dear Miss Jenny, Thank goodness you exist (I dont say God cause Im betting its Goddess at some points in my life; like Mother Nature makes total sense) and came across my path. Im not an audio person well except for all types of music and I prefer the natural good smell of glue and what I think odorless ink smells like in the form of a book. Ironically Im at both the lowest and highest points in my life, and at 36 most likely half way through as well. Id really love ALL your books as I scramble out of the Covid hole of darkness.. and assuming Ive discovered the parts of myself I promised I would.. into loving the rest of my life.

  361. I have all your physical books, but I borrowed the audio version of Furiously Happy from my local library last week and I LOVED you reading it. In general, authors reading their own works are preferable to others reading them (fine examples: Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams), not to disparage other readers, but the author just KNOWS how it’s meant to be said.
